I know this is old but I did not see this until recently.
Very cool in my opinion.
Think of what one the size of a car would look like if it could be controlled like this one.
Think of the pranks one could do, but then again those kinds of pranks may cause hearts to stop.

It all goes back to that Roosevelt quote:

I am certain that my fellow Americans expect that on my induction into the Presidency I will address them with a candor and a decision which the present situation of our people impel. This is preeminently the time to speak the truth, the whole truth, frankly and boldly. Nor need we shrink from honestly facing conditions in our country today. This great Nation will endure as it has endured, will revive and will prosper. So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear, is fear itself—nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance, and spiders.

I see all kinds of potential with these and other so-called robotic toys.

No. The big problem is the technology is available to crank out miniature death machines that will only kill a specific person. Just hold up picture, chant kill, and release.

Not a fan of small robots.

LOL, well maybe but not what I had in mind. The guy is missing his mandibles and some grippers. Think positively here. You print up an army of these, set them to work is what you do, these and ant robots, and they do what you want. For example, have a tree in the yard that's like way too big and you want it cut down but the price is steep because there's a big risk for the tree cutter, not to mention the clean up. So you put your micro-slaves to work doing tree trimming. Oh sure it's going to take a month, it's going to require you replacing the fallen slaves or repairing their crushed plastic bodies, but in the end the job is done, the mess cleaned up and mulched. It won't cost you an arm and a leg, and best of all no cars, people, or houses got crunched. It's that kind of thing is what I'm thinking.
