Storming Area 51

53,000 People Have Pledged to ‘Storm Area 51’ This Fall
We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we naruto run, we can move faster than their bullets. Lets see them aliens.
Let’s see them aliens indeed. I hope you’re like me and are already practicing your Naruto run, because we’re doing it: we’re going to gather up tens of thousand of people and run right past the guards at the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) and storm Area 51 before they can catch or shoot all of us. Who’s with us?

A Facebook user by the name of SmyleeKun and the group “Shitposting cause im in shambles” created the event, titled Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us. The event is set to take place on September 20, 2019 at 3am. Attendees will meet at the Area 51 Alien Center in Amargosa Valley, Nevada before proceeding to Area 51 itself. Well, attempting to proceed, anyway.

The last time sometime tried to speed past the armed guards at the site, it didn’t go so well. In January, a man was shot by both the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and the NNSS Security Protective Force Officers after he led them on an 8-mile high speed chase while attempting to drive into the Nevada National Security Site carrying a still unidentified cylindrical object. How will things turn out when thousands of people show up at once?

As of now, 53,000 people have pledged to storm Area 51. Of course, that means they simply clicked “Going” on their social media whatnots, so take that figure with a grain of salt. Still, what would happen if let’s say just 9-10% showed up. Would the Nye County Sheriff’s Office and the NNSS Security Protective Force shoot everyone? Just a few? A couple dozen? Hopefully, non-lethal means of deterrent could be used instead. Remember those “sound cannons” Canadian police unveiled during the G20 protests in Toronto back in 2010? Who knows what kinds of spooky gizmos the guards at that place may possess.

Will anyone actually show up, or is this a case of trolling or slacktivism at its finest? Judging by the fact that discussion and photos associated with the Facebook event are mostly crude jokes and memes featuring Randy Quaid from Independence Day, I have low hopes for this one. Still, I hope it actually happens – and even if it doesn’t, it certainly makes you wonder what would happen if a huge crowd could ever actually manage to coordinate an attempt to see what’s really in those hangars. Can a Facebook event make it happen?

This is the same logic of what's happening on the southern border. This could indicate a foreign power is really after advanced technology.

It's an obvious joke. Apparently, most people have never been to the desert or dealt with military security. Even if you could get 50,000 dipshits staged out there, and most of them survived the night, they would have zero chance of even getting to the gates. The whole thing is just silly.

If 50,000+ people camped out overnight anywhere near Area 51 then I have no doubts the military will be fully prepared to take them all down...Posting online that they are planning to breach that facility doesn't help either...lol

Let me know the date......I'll need some popcorn to watch the morons......lol.

:drinks:

Its hard to believe that many fools would attack a US military facility. I'd say there are a lot more domestic terrorists around than I thought.

This is the first time I've seen this thread? Are they really gonna, do it?

Won't the guards' fire on them? I mean, I hope everything works out, But This sounds like it could be a tragedy about to happen o_O

I mean just imagining it is scary, We have seen how cities will pull in the army to stop riots.
They will do what they are told, to defend that base. It would be a miracle if the soldiers all in unison decided not to attack, I mean, That's a military base.

There will probably be enough chuckleheads showing up to cause some chaos, which the townspeople will have to clean up after. There might even be a few who don't have enough sense to realize it's a joke, but they won't get anywhere. The "alien center" or whatever is in a place with fewer than 2,000 people. Even a few thousand tourons there for the spectacle would be a giant mess. As for the base, there are many, many ways to "discourage" would-be intruders. I'm sure some "training exercises" are already scheduled for the 20th. A couple of truckloads of razor wire on the roads would send the nitwits bushwhacking into the cactus. In their sneakers.

I used to live in the desert. The cluelessness of some of the visitors is astonishing. Darwin Award level stuff. The efficiency with which the desert can fuck up an experienced trekker is shocking.

Its very sad that there are so many home grown terrorists in this country. So what do so many want to die for there but to help our enemies.

The level of depth in your theory is amazing.
I never thought of it under these circumstances. I'm convinced you are right.

One thing they are also forgetting is that they can also be attacked by the air from other air force bases. If they think its just the ground troops protecting the base that defends it then they should make sure they have 200,000 body bags.

Far too many lunatics out there consider the Evil Government their biggest problem. This standoff was ended largely by ignoring it. Ruby Ridge, Waco and Oklahoma City are all tied in there together with weirdness that's hard to understand - but at least I can see some sort of connection. At least one I wouldn't need Alex Jones to explain.

How a military testing facility - one that's really, really protected unlike a friggin' bird sanctuary - has been pegged at the root of all evil and the target for a mob is beyond me. They'll find out their tax dollars have purchased secret planes and a hell of a lot of tear gas.

Maybe this is a form of social Darwinism at work.

I suspect that most of the people who signed on for the invasion just did it as a lark. If I'm right, 10 days from now the few serious ones will show up and promptly be arrested.

Now even if I'm wrong and a huge number of people try to storm Area 51, I wouldn't expect lethal force to be used on a mass scale. The negative PR would be far too severe. Also, as others have pointed out, the "good stuff" is unlikely to be there anymore. Probably a lot of tear gas would be employed.

But again, I think the whole affair will be a dud, though I hope I'm wrong.

There are no doubt some dumbasses who think a mob would be able to drive up the road and crash the gate. Most of those have likely never been to the desert, and to think the security operation would just have the usual crew of "camo dudes" on standby waiting for the proximity detectors to sound the alarm is just stupid.

Anyway, lethal measures won't be necessary. It won't even be necessary to make a few craters as the kooks look on. Just a single micro-sandstorm generated by a low flying helicopter should do it. None of the kooks will make it past the highway shoulder.

No doubt Darwinism will come into play......and I'm not sure what these idiots intend to find.

If 200,000 did turn up a few thousands would die even without the camo dudes doing a damn thing.
