Couple Dies in Single Car Fiery ‘Mysterious’ Crash After Surviving Las Vegas Massacre

On the night of Oct. 16, the couple’s younger daughter, 16-year-old Madison Carver, heard a loud bang outside her window. When she ran down the street and rounded the corner, a familiar vehicle engulfed in flames came into view. Dennis, 52, and Lorraine, 53, had died together less than half a mile from their home.

It took firefighters nearly an HOUR to put out the fire of their sedan, the department said in a statement. (Experts tell us this is highly abnormal.)

Officials have identified a local couple who died in a single-vehicle, fiery wreck in the unincorporated community of La Cresta. Both victims died Monday, Oct. 16, after their vehicle crashed into a metal speaker intercom and two brick pillars at the front gate of private, residential property. (in their own neighborhood where they lived.)

Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner’s officials later identified 52-year-old Dennis Carver, and 54-year-old Lorraine Carver as the couple killed in the fiery crash.

The accident reportedly happened when for an unknown reason, the driver, later identified as Dennis Carver, allowed the couple’s 2010 Mercedes-Benz sedan to leave the roadway along a sweeping curve on Avenida De Arboles, just north of Palo Alto Lane. (This would be their own residential neighborhood.)

I will grant you that the risk of death from auto accident in any given year is about 1:10000.

That is pretty low.

But perhaps paparazzi got in their way.

That's what I was thinking too, a car bomb, this seemed to be a deliberate killing, not an accident...

There could be a supernatural explanation. What if these people were meant to die and death is stalking them.

The title is a little deceiving.

When you burn in a car for over an hour there isn't any real mystery about why you died.

It does take a while for a car to catch fire.

None of the stories mention excessive speed or why they might have run into the metal gate.

So it is a little odd they didn't just walk out of the car, since their airbags should have saved them.
