People love to complain, to talk about themselves and their problems. We are genetically biased for upload, not download. Listening isn't our strongest trait.

Social media is that big chicken coop I mentioned once: get one or two riled and the whole place explodes with feathers and noise and shit over no particular reason at all. Anonymity and immediacy take our worst traits and give them a platform and an audience.

A bit bandwidth lacking at the moment so I can’t embed a video. Think TOS: Patterns of Force.

Will Biden come out of the fugue, lose the Ray Bans and suddenly shout ‘Kamala is a traitor !’
Harris would then seize a machine gun from the protective detail and hose down the podium.

well, I can slways hope, right?

That's the conspiracy now in some social media circles, that Pelosi wants to tamper with the amendment, not to remove Trump but to remove Biden (if he wins) to put Harris in power...Does that make Biden a Trojan horse for the radical elements of the far left to supplant their own President without the American people voting, essentially Harris becoming America's first non-elected Leader/Dictator?...

Harris wouldn't be the first "non-elected" leader (Harris would arguably be an election victor, if she becomes vice president, as people are voting for Biden-Harris or Trump-Pence). Other vice presidents hake taken over due to the death of the president in office. Johnson, Truman, Coolidge, to name a few.

The most extraordinary instance of a vice president assuming the presidency is possibly that of Gerald Ford. Spiro Agnew was Nixon's running mate for his second term beginning in 1973. Agnew resigned over criminal charges unrelated to the Watergate scandal later that year and was replaced by Gerald Ford. Nixon resigned in 1974 and Ford replaced Nixon, having never won an election as either a presidential or vice presidential candidate.

Yes of that I am well aware, however those incidents of a vice president assuming the president role were all of natural occurrence, meaning that it followed protocol and the law...What Pelosi may have in mind may be changing the rules to suit their agenda by creating an 'emergency' or situation that would not have normally took place sidestepping to normal procedures, forcing the transition...

Biden promises to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour.

Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden pushed his plan to raise the minimum wage to $15 an hour if he defeats President Donald Trump in November.

Biden made the comments Monday afternoon while campaigning in Florida.

Creepy Joe is a hair sniffer.

That's great! Unless you own a small business. Then you look at it differently.

I think one huge consequence of a higher minimum wage that no one thinks about is how many people might suddenly be unemployed. We've all been in jobs where a large part of the workforce contributes little or nothing. These people often stay employed by just showing up. If salary costs suddenly jump up 150%, these folks are going to be unemployed. Meaning, alot of them are going to become a drain on society (criminal justice, welfare, etc.) instead of making a marginal contribution as they do when they are employed.
