I'm wondering, how are people who intend to vote Republican feeling about the Senate failing to pass the COVID relief?
They've rushed through the ACB nomination and McConnell has now adjourned the Senate until after the election.

If Trump loses I definitely think they're not going to pass it at all until the hand over in January. Does this not make you feel used as a political tool? The reason would be a combination of spite and to make passing the relief fall onto a Biden administration, when Republicans will suddenly start to care about the deficit again.

Biden Is Running a Protection Racket

Joe Biden's big pitch is his promise to restore calm. It's a con. It's Antifa and Black Lives Matter — both on his side — that are stirring everything up. He's trying to run a protection racket: vote Democrat, or the chaos continues.

Biden talks of calm, but it is not Trump-supporters storming restaurants and other public places across the country to demand obeisance to their agenda. Instead, from Washington to Kentucky to Florida, it is the "Black Lives Matter" movement — which Biden has made a centerpiece of his campaign — that has smashed up restaurants, threatened their owners, and demanded that diners raise the black power fist. As one headline put it, "aggressive mob of white BLM protesters threaten and film white diners at DC restaurants and DEMAND they raise their fist and show solidarity with them...or else."

Biden speaks of tolerance, but it isn't MAGA people marching into our schools, newsrooms, and even corporate boardrooms to demand absolute allegiance; it's Biden-supporting leftists. As President Trump warned in his Independence Day address at Mt. Rushmore, if you do not "perform its rituals, recite its mantras, and follow its commandments, then you will be censored, banished, blacklisted, persecuted, and punished."

Biden professes not to treat the other party as the enemy, but he demonizes his opponents whenever he opens his mouth. Just this week, he called Trump-supporters "chumps." And his supporters call themselves "the resistance" — a term ordinarily used to describe armed insurgency against an occupying military power.

Biden speaks of mutual respect, but he demonstrates contempt, animosity, and rage at Trump-supporters. Let's face it: no one in America is afraid of going out in public while wearing a Biden hat.

Biden accuses the president of sowing chaos, but small businesses across the country haven't boarded up their windows in advance of MAGA rallies.

Biden decries deepening divisions but defends government-wide indoctrination sessions that preach tribalism and racism rather than unity and colorblindness. In the first debate, with the assistance of moderator Chris Wallace, Biden dismissed the spread of "Critical Race Theory" as "racial sensitivity training."

Critical Race Theory is an explicitly Marxist academic concept that casts all white people as oppressors. It maintains that white Americans must stop valuing "white" things like "individualism" and "objectivity" and give up their "comfort," "relationships with some other white people," and even their "physical safety" to atone for their "complicity in the system of white supremacy."

A recent Wall Street Journal column called it "a deeply ideological agenda that includes reducing people to a racial essence, segregating them, and judging them by their group identity rather than individual character, behavior and merit." Joe Biden just calls that "sensitivity."

There's nothing new about the bad faith behind the Democratic appeal to "civility." What it really means is: no dissent from its views. Just submit.

It started even before President Trump's inauguration. When Vice President–Elect Mike Pence and his wife went to see Hamilton on Broadway two weeks after his election victory, the cast berated him from the stage, haranguing the New York City audience to boo him. A Democrat restaurateur in Virginia kicked White House press secretary Sarah Sanders out. Crowds yelled "shame" at Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen as she tried to eat dinner at a Mexican restaurant in Washington.

Democrat elected officials cheered the thuggishness on from the very beginning. Rep. Maxine Waters, in a typical display of civility, said that if you see Trump Cabinet members "in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd ... [a]nd you tell them they're not welcome anymore, anywhere."

If Joe Biden is really all about a return to civility, why is his national campaign co-chair Cedric Richmond, a top-ranking Democrat who defended Waters's shocking call for public harassment, disturbance of the peace, bullying, and shaming?

The truth is, Biden has gone all in on division and hatred from the moment he launched his campaign with complete lies about the president's remarks on the violence in Charlottesville in 2017 — remarks that included the words "I'm not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally."

As it turns out, the president's prediction at that juncture — that if you pulled down Robert E. Lee's statues, they would come for Washington and Jefferson next — proved entirely correct. The violence that day in Charlottesville would eventually pale in comparison to the violence accompanying leftists' attempts to take over our cities and pull down our monuments — while Biden and Democrat mayors and public officials joined in marches or watched their cities burn.

The fraudulent Biden campaign has no policies, no proposals, no plans to do anything but divide America to facilitate the return of Biden and the Democrats to power to enrich their friends and themselves at the expense of "we the people." Unified patriots are their greatest fear.

Don't be fooled by Biden's sanctimonious rhetoric. He is not the Fire Department. He is the arsonist lobbing Molotov cocktails.

Probably because it was clearly fabricated, and the people who fabricated it realise what a world of shit they'd be in if the "evidence" was traced back to its source. Especially with the FBI considering it a fabrication and opening an investigation into it.

    Ask yourself two things:
    1) In what way does the story make even the slightest bit of sense. That he'd travel 3,000 miles from where he lives to visit a no-name computer repair shop in the cheap, where the technician then commits a crime and accesses the private data. (I worked as a computer technician, at the very least I'd have been fired for snooping)

    2) If the evidence was real, why wouldn't the GOP wouldn't get a hold of it and lock that down like Fort Knox?instead they left it to Rudy, the same idiot who got duped by SBC not long ago. It's entire contents would be playing from every right-wing leaning affiliated Station in the country, rather than a tabloid who made no attempt to actually verify the story, to Rudys own admission.
Should I start trusting the Sunday Sport because they have the journalistic integrity to cover hard hitting facts everyone else is too afraid to repeat.

I swear, it's like donkeys and blinkers.

Because it was an act signed in only last year by a party with a history of voter suppression.

In a time when a global pandemic wasn't killing hundreds of thousands, and the Government hadn't been actively sabotaging the USPS.

The better question is this: why are Republicans so afraid of having all votes counted?

In my view this is propaganda, I have seen no evidence of intentional sabotage, however I have not researched this very much nor do I care to...The mail system is not set up for handling voting on such a massive scale IMO, there is no good reason why people cannot show up in person to vote at designated places...People have to go out to get fuel and groceries, they can go out to vote, simple, then there are no discrepencies...

We cannot and should not be counting votes weeks and months after an election, there are state by state laws regarding this and some states are trying to bend or break these laws with claims to accommodate mail in voting...I don't think its a matter of one party being afraid of counting all the votes, but more of a matter of concern about election fraud because of this asinine idea of everyone mailing in their votes...Show up in person and vote and there are no problems...Don't misunderstand me here, I am not providing excuses for the GOP, I am not affiliated with any political party, I'm simply giving my opine from my own knowledge, which I'm sure is limited when it comes to politics...Politics and religion are the two worst organized movements in this world in my opinion, both disgust me, and both have killed more people and destroyed more lives than anything else...(I'm not atheist either lol)...Sorry for the short rant...

I feel it's a bit silly to call propaganda on something you've not researched... and to claim business as usual while not bothering to give it a cursory look. I'm British and I've still been unable to avoid learning about it... That could just be because I watch a bunch of American content though.
Here's what happened, starting in August.
    1) DeJoy started removing mailboxes, cancelling deliveries, and shutting sorting centres.
    2) Policy changes to make it so mail backs up as they're unable to extend runs.
    3) Sorting machines started being removed from branches across the country.
    4) Overtime is now forbidden across the organisation in most cases.
    5) A federal judge orders DeJoy to stop removing the sorting machines.
    6) 20 states prepare to sue and DeJoy is called in front of Congress
    7) DeJoy backtracks and reverts the policies. But the damage is done and it'll take a while to get back to full capacity.

The reason why mail voting is important is certain parties take part in voter suppression. I know you'll probably scoff at that, but there is a reason states like Texas have an incredibly low number of polling places and why it's not uncommon for people to have to travel 30 miles to vote. These places will be packed. Having places packed during a pandemic is not good. You make the example of shopping... Shopping is no where near the same scale of people in the same area of space. That's a trickle vs a river.

Know how far I have to travel? 0.1 miles, 5 minute walk. That's pretty typical for most of the country here.

Texas closes hundreds of polling sites, making it harder for minorities to vote
(Read past the headline. It backs up why it's headline is correct in the article)

Why not? I figure as an American you would be aware of how US Elections work... And that the true election doesn't take place until December 14th when the Electoral College places their votes. There's zero reason why votes cannot continue being counted over that time as a winner for the election is not called until the 14th December. This is how the idea of Faithless Electors exist, and why it's theoretically possible (and has happened) for the representatives to ignore the results of their state.

What USUALLY happens if that the one who's clearly lost on election night concedes so the winner is known at that point. At that point there is no reason to continue counting as there is no more competitor. There is no rule saying that is how it is supposed to work though. And you can bet your ass Trump wont concede - which is why it's become an issue in this case.

I'm not sure on this, but I believe it's also the case that the Constitution outlines that states decide their own election procedures, in so far as how they make their college representatives vote. This is why a number of states are forming a coalition to artificially remove the electoral college by changing the laws so that their reps will vote for the national majority vote leader.

On the election fraud bit. Most of the actual cases of election fraud that have been prosecuted in recent years have been from a certain party. There is very few cases of it actually happening and claims that it's a real concern are also all coming from a single party.

We'll see. My trust isn't exactly high in the Daily Beast, especially from an unnamed spokesperson. Especially considering that UPS had not been named as the carrier (it was purposely undisclosed), and outing themselves like that has no gain.

I have no trust in any of the news/media sources to be honest, there's little to no objective journalism, practically all media outlets are pro-left or pro-right now, it's disgraceful...

True, but meh, it happens...There are more important things to spend my time on, if we bite on to every hook and line out there, no matter what it is, our lives would be so cluttered and busy with other things instead of living life and enjoy it the best we can and doing the things we want to do...

People loitering around polling stations, especially armed, should definitely not be allowed.

As a counter example, imagine a gaggle of armed BLM-shirt donning people doing the same to "male sure things are safe". It'd be nuts.
