The Airship Wave of 1896-1897

Great you have posted this thread, it’s one of those oldies I have often pondered about. Hope some intelligent answers come through.

The shadow

The shadow knows!
As shown by 1895 we had airships or dirigibles.
the video posted above recounts 3 pilot encounters with a very human man with a name. it is my belief that some airship sightings are of human nature.
now why did they stop?
I think the crash in Texas was a catalyst. the video had a pilot say they had several airships. what if one was lost? it may have caused the operators to stop flights. especially if the money was gone.
why did no one take credit for the airships?
because after the crash they may have viewed them as failures. and quietly scrapped.

As Above So Below
I do not agree with Jacques Vallée's theory that UFOs change to fit technology of the time, essentially evolving to fit our acceptance...That to me is equivalent to implying UFOs are projections or staged events from some higher source who created them, like from some cosmic trickster...I think that is a real stretch...Its my opinion these airships have nothing to do with UFOs as we understand UFOs today as being visitors from other planets in space craft...I think these airships were either secret prototypes a few years ahead of its time but human designed in secret...The narrator made the comment that few of the designs were used in later years when we had stable flying machines built, which is one of many indicators of these likely being very early prototype ships...I have also thought that maybe this was a bleeding of realities, many these airships were from a parallel world, similar to ours, but that's a hypothesis that could never be proven nor could there be an evidence to support that...They were likely very early prototypes and secret experiments of ours...

adding to the suspected human origin of the Airships we find the Aurora Texas crash in april 1897.
I contend that the crash ended what hope the inventor had for the airships.
as for what happened in texas I wont discount the possibility of an ET craft. But it is more likely that it was a human craft.
The loss of the craft and pilot was a great blow to the inventor. or ot may have been the inventor who died that day.
But the crash did put an end to it as only one airship sighting happened after the crash..
