I made some mint sauce it tastes pretty good I used my own mint plant that's always been growing here . Heres the recipe I used.
Ingredients
Makes: 600 ml

- 1 cup mint leaves, chopped

- Combine sugar and vinegar in a saucepan then bring to a boil. Stir in the mint then bottle according to your usual method.

Its been a lovely day outside, sunshine and 67 degrees, I couldn't resist taking advantage of the weather today, not when we are about to go into a 2 week freeze...Been hiking in the woods behind my house letting kobi chase the wildlife around lol...He really wants a bird but they are way too fast for him, besides almost all the leaves are out of the trees and on the ground, its difficult to walk amongst the trees without making noise stepping in leaves...

If he caught a wild turkey I would clean it and cook it, I've been wanting to eat a wild turkey, never have before...He chased a couple turkeys a few years ago, both on the run then one took off flying, the other left still running with kobi quickly catching up...I really thought he was going to get that one, he got his nose in those tail feathers when it took off upwards in flight...If kobi had just leaped up at it I'm sure it would have been his, but he didn't and just got a good smell of the bird before it flew out of reach lol...

After a much needed "us" night Rikki and I have returned to find the house decorated for the holiday. Rikki was shocked to see Kate had set up her own altar. All that's left is to go get the tree with my boys.

Went to sleep at about 2300 last night, I must have got a really good sleep waking up at 0400 this morning wide awake and feeling well rested...So at the crack of dawn, as soon as a touch of sunlight was in the sky, I put on three layers of clothing since it was only 34 degrees outside and took my dog for a long walk down the road and back...Had to take off my jacket half way back, I was warmed up enough from the walk lol...

Its been very cold outside here lately, would be nice to get some snow but nothing in the forecast but more cold nights in the low 20s...Since I've had the coils replaced in my car its been running great until recently with a very random issue...Its a V8 and runs better with this colder weather however very infrequently now a coil drops out or something, the car will stall out, but restarts instantly, usually does this when its idling, but very infrequently and randomly, it happened three times in November...My dash has a digital readout that doesn't tell me much information, only that the problem was with one or more coils...I have to get my code reader and see what the computer says, I just haven't done that yet because its happened so infrequently, I've procrastinated...I need to get it fixed before the problem starts getting worse, its electrical so yeah I'm sure it will start getting worse sometime soon, and posting about it will help remind me lol...
