When my veterinarian opens up this morning I will call her and inquire about those special shampoos, I didn't know about that, surely they have something since we are out in the country where skunks and other wild animals abound...
Ace call - they'll know how to deal with this better than anyone. And having something on hand for this olfactory horror will bring a whole lotta peace o mind ;

Thanks again, I'm at work for a half day, working off 4 hours sleep in the past two days, but 3 days off after this which I'm certainly looking forward to!...
...
Be cautious and mindful until you can get to bed later today - most injuries are caused by fatigue. Last week I worked four 24-hour shifts back to back (with 6-7 hours of sleep in-between), and then on my way to bed I reached for a wine glass and put my hand right through it. Not an awesome way to end an arduous week; don't let anything like that happen to you!

Taking the old lady in to have a nuclear stress test done this mornin, she`s scared and has been nervous about it all month. A couple of years ago she had a respiratory induced heart attack,(doc said her heart recovered fine)and she has had to be incubated twice since cause of her copd,ashma..., they have been trying different med`s and i think finally figured what she needs, but one med bout killed her due to it was aggravating her lungs like an allergy sort of. she wears a cpap at night and has a nebulizer along with hospital strength dose`s.Her doc told he she can no longer work this last january and he put in for her to get social security disability, and we have already been disapproved the first time and waiting to hear if she gets it on the second time . she has had me so worried i started having afibs, i just had to stop and trust in the lord. I was damn near having a panic attack everytime she called unexpectedly. Things are better now for me , and her too as soon as we get through this test. And to think she just got her 1st dan in taekwondo 2 years ago. if it wasn`t for her doing that before this all happen, i think i would`ve lost her.

I called my veterinarian to inquire about a shampoo for dogs called Skunk-off...They had it but not for sale but for their use and offered to shampoo my dog for 200 dollars!...Yikes!...I called around other vets and one about 45 minute drive away said Yes! they had it on the shelf for sale, come and get it...So I drove all the way out there, into the foothills of the Appalachian mountains, go in to the vet office, the woman remembers talking to me on the telly, goes back to get a bottle...Five minutes later she comes out, 'oh I'm sorry, we appear to have sold it all right now, come back next week and we will have more'...I truly felt like having a few words with her regarding her assurances over the phone and my subsequent drive that took almost an hour one way, but restrained myself, promptly getting back in my car and driving straight home, both hungry and tired...

I ordered the stuff on Amazon and took the last two cans of tomato sauce I had and bath the dog once more which fortunately made the now slight smell tolerable allowing him back into the house lol...I will keep this shampoo, once it arrives by mail, on hand just in case this event happens again, something tells me it will since I'm in the country and since this is the second skunk related situation in two years...

Ouch, hope you're hand is okay, broken glass can cause serious injuries...I got some good rest last night and taking today to relax and enjoy being at home and the peacefulness of nature around me...I have a half bottle of my favourite Malbec leftover from last night which I think I will pour a glass or two in the afternoon today..:)

That's a gang stalking tactic. When she was in the back she probably made a call to someone who told her not to give it to you. Believe it or not they could have engineered the skunk event. In Michael Bell's book The Invisible Crime Part 1 & 2 he wrote one of the tactics they'll use on him is remove the products from the store shelves that they know he wants to buy then put them back after he leaves.

How much does it cost? Here's hoping you never have to use it. lol

A bath, time & fresh air are cheaper.

I think dogs believe they are chasing cats when they do this. Funny thing is that when cats approach them in a friendly way, they actually will play together and the cat walks away smell free. I witnessed it first hand.

I didn't watch the video because it takes too long to stream on this site for some reason. I'm pretty sure it's because my system is antique. lol

Are you saying it's personal? Why would they gang stalk, Nivek?

Oh that shampoo was only 6 dollars lol, it cost more to ship than to buy...My dog would not be so friendly to a cat I think, he doesn't like people who has a cat smell on them lol...

He once saw a Guineafowl running through our yard and chased it, got right up to it only to reach out and sniff its feathers before the bird decided to fly off lol...Apparently Kobi, my dog, never saw a Guinea before and just wanted to get close enough to smell it...

From my experience it appears to be a harassment tactic. I don't know the cause if it is happening.

As a kid I would sometimes wake up with scratches on my abdomen, chest and arms. That stopped when I became a teenager then started again briefly later in life as if a group were using old tricks.

It's been a very busy week thus far, developing structure and procedures for this manufacturing plant I took control of managing, the place sorely needs it and that's what I was brought in to do...This is my 3rd week there and already I've made a huge difference that has been noticed by the owners...They already told me I've exceeded their expectations which is nice to hear but there's still much work to be done...

Stare..... They are always staring
Well this previous Monday I had a exceptional day. But first a story…

I've pretty much kept it to myself although there is a couple of guys here that may be familiar with it ( Black Angus and Ron67) but on December 13th of 2016 I suffered a stroke and it was a real bad one, it was almost the end of me. I was kept in an induced coma until the 28th at which point I was brought out of it and transferred to an assisted living arrangement in Santa Monica.

When I came out of it it didn't take me long to realize that I was pretty much paralyzed on my right side, I had no movement in either my right leg or right arm, which was an issue because I am (wuz?) right handed. Also for whatever reason (something to do with spasticity I think ) my right arm was almost out of the socket and it was what I thought at a permanent 45° angle kind of like a broken arm in a sling. But regardless it was also in permanent rigamortis or something like it. I also had a PEG (food tube) inserted right around the ribs on my left side and a breathing tube inserted in my throat just above the collar bone. And last but not least 2 scars on my left side of skull where they had put in a vent(?) to drain the the pooled blood. I was pretty f√¢ked up. My boss who originally had no idea what happened to me or where I even was but eventually got the word by the hospital staff. Apparently they contacted a friend/customer whose # came up on my “called numbers” list and contacted him and he in return notified the owner and then he started paying visits to me when I was still in my medically induced coma talking to me and such but I don't remember a single bit of it.

And that was just the start of it. It really took about 3 months for it to really sink in what had happened, and it wasn't until March or April that I sorta got back in the game. First of all I already had my 2 credit cards suspended, my cell service was cut off for non payment (I had finally got my phone back) i fortunately still had my apartment for in the meantime my father had been notified… He's in Northern New York where I am now and he was paying for my room in the interim, at that point going on 4 months. It was at that time I thought “what is it your coming back to”? It really didn't take me any time to throw in the chips, I really had nothing to come back to, even though my boss promised my job back it was nothing of substance. I did get Medicaid but that meant I had to divest myself of a fair amount of money to qualify but that wasn't a problem because there's this thing called medical bills that came along with the stroke that needed attending.

At any rate my brother came out to California in May, and he and his wife filled my Ford Ranger (2004 and still less than 22k on the odometer) with a lot of possessions, some were tossed or given to Goodwill or friends that were living in the complex and then they drove my truck back here.

Meanwhile I stayed here in California and worked at getting my screwed up head back together. I remember early on seeing a psychiatrist, it was pretty casual at first, but something was wrong. I broke down crying for no reason at all a number of times, one of them when I got my PEG tube removed but that was a different thing, all that emotion bottled up and no real outlet for it ...and realized this isn't me…. and i had quite a bit of trouble getting to sleep So I grabbed him and would just shoot the breeze a lot with him. He came around every Thursday and Friday. He had a large Persian clientele to see but would always give me some venting time. When I did get back here in Northern New York,I got a brace for my somewhat gimpy leg. I also got a Rx for Prozac which I took for a couple of cycles and I'm glad I did! But all told, I thought i had my ass dragged to hell and back but I gotta say that may have been the case but I'm in pretty good shape now although there is still a few issues to deal with which brings us back to……..

I'm about to take a “break” from PT/OT for the second time when I realized I still haven't hit the stairs yet. This has been a bug up my ass for some time. I don't know why they were supposed reticent about doing it. Well I did really know it was somewhat hazardous but it really needed to be done, time was getting very short, I was getting antsy and actually a little mean spirited about it t doing it. I am going to be doing it by myself with very little oversight, I have a workout schedule to work with but no stairs!!!

So they decided to throw me a bone and last Friday they trussed me up (no exaggeration) and had no less than 3 instructors hovering over me and…… I aced it. Piece of cake. Going up was easy peasy, going down was more challenging but it was accomplished. And just like getting rid of my PEG tube I got choked up. All that begging and pleading (pretty much) getting emotionally involved and when it came to laying the rubber on the road , it almost turned out to be all for naught. All that hand rubbing and gnashing of teeth and I had done it. It got pretty emotional.

Well to wrap it up , I'll be setting my own schedule (3x/week) probably 60-75 minutes each and use the instructions they came up with a little embellishment thrown in courtesy in me.

I can't wait!!!!!

Ever since i started noticing Bigfoot in my area near my home, i had been leaving rocks, sticks and such in a certain position on my storm shelter. to maybe see if they will interact. Last year i was noticing sticks had been leaned and intertwined with each other up against a smoker on the storm shelter. This year i have had a group of rocks and a dead 2 inch thick sapling with the root on the end that is about a foot long in the same spot next to the smoker appear and get moved slightly into different spots, i have left tiny figure toys and such that has been taken, I think i`ll leave a nectarine tonight.
