You might think it was Battle of the Little Big Horn, but it wasn't. I just learned about it today. It was St. Clair's Defeat (aka the Battle of Wabash River). The opponent was the Western Confederacy of Native Americans. U.S. casualties were 933 (not including women and children). Not surprisingly, it was the largest victory ever won by Native Americans.
