I like to read about the World War 2 era. As far as the snitch nation is concerned, in Germany the Gestapo was actually a small amount of individuals. How did they keep people in line and hunt down instigators? The German people snitched on one another. It makes you think we aren’t far off from that scenario.

ACLU is slammed for changing Ruth Bader Ginsburg quote about abortion rights to remove pronouns and replace 'woman' with 'person'

The American Civil Liberties Union has been slammed over a tweet which altered a famous quote from the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg about abortion rights, replacing the word 'woman' with 'person' and swapping female pronouns with 'they.'

'The decision whether or not to bear a child is central to a [person's] life, to [their] well-being and dignity… When the government controls that decision for [people], [they are] being treated as less than a fully adult human responsible for [their] own choices,' the ACLU posted in a photo on Twitter on the one-year anniversary of Ginsburg's death on Saturday.

The ACLU removed the term 'woman' and altered the pronouns to be inclusive of trans and non-binary individuals who might also seek an abortion.

But critics slammed the organization for 'erasing women' from a quote by such a famous women's right advocate. 'The ACLU literally erasing women,' wrote Greg Scott, of the conservative Alliance Defending Freedom group.

Dave Weigel, of the Washington Post, wrote that changing the quote was not a good look for the ACLU. 'The pronoun wars are bad and silly but editing a Ginsburg quote to remove any reference to "women" looks so clumsy.'

Author Colin Moriarty likened the change to George Orwell's novel, 1984. 'You have become the exact type of language-bending Orwellian institution you once opposed,' he wrote about the ACLU.

Disgusting! A poster on Reddit mocked it by applying the ACLU tactic to Sojourner Truth's famous speech.

That [person] over there says that [people] need to be helped into carriages, and lifted over ditches, and to have the best place everywhere. Nobody ever helps me into carriages, or over mud-puddles, or gives me any best place! And ain’t I a [person]? Look at me! Look at my arm! I have ploughed and planted, and gathered into barns, and no [person] could head me! And ain’t I a [person]? I could work as much and eat as much as a [person] – when I could get it – and bear the lash as well! And ain’t I a [person]? I have borne thirteen [people], and seen most all sold off to slavery, and when I cried out with my [parent]’s grief, none but Jesus heard me! And ain’t I a [person]?

Students at Pennsylvania university are warned they could be punished if they fail to use the preferred pronoun for classmates

Students at a Pennsylvania university could face disciplinary actions if they don't respect their classmates' preferred gender pronouns.

Point Park University in Pittsburgh sent out a new policy to students ahead of the 2021/22 school year regarding 'misgendering, pronoun misuse and deadnaming,' an email obtained by Campus Reform said.

Deadnaming is the use of a person's legal 'dead' name rather than that person's chosen name. 'Any individual who has been informed of another person's gender identity, pronouns, or chosen name is expected to respect that individual,' the email reads.

'While the University recognizes the aspect of intent versus impact, we must recognize that regardless of the intent, if an individual is impacted in a harmful way, action could be taken if a complaint is filed,' it continues.

It is unclear what sort of action might be taken against anyone who goes against the policy.

The mailing also included the school's 'Pronouns and Inclusive Language Guide.'

Teachers call angry parents terrorists: School officials beg Biden to send in the FBI to protect them from 'extremist' parents angry over vaccine and mask mandates and say it should be treated as 'domestic terrorism'

An institution representing more than 90,000 school officials across the US begged Joe Biden Wednesday to send FBI and Secret Service agents to protect them from 'mobs' of angry parents irate over vaccine and mask mandates forced upon their children - asserting their protests should be treated as 'domestic terrorism' by 'extremist hate organizations.' In a letter penned to the president and published online, the National School Boards Association implored the US government to take a stand against these vexed parents, stating that teachers and other school staffers are under 'immediate threat' because of their burgeoning 'acts of malice, violence, and threats.' The complaint, signed by NSBA President Viola Garcia and Interim Executive Director and CEO Chip Slaven, called upon Biden personally to and use his executive power to mobilize FBI and US Secret Service agents to guard school officials.

France rejects American 'woke' culture that is 'racializing' country

Some prominent French figures, including President Emmanuel Macron, are rejecting "woke" ideology that has been imported from the United States amid a breakdown in relations between the two nations.

A cover story by Le Spectacle Du Monde, one of France's leading magazines, recently ran a piece titled "The Suicide fo America" in which it blames the deadly withdrawal from Afghanistan on a "woke dictatorship" and questioned whether the American "empire was collapsing," Zenger News reported.

The article also took American universities to task over alleged extremism and censorship on campuses. The story cited Yale University, where school officials urged students to reconsider Halloween costumes that might be racially insensitive.

Macron, who has been criticized by French progressives, told Elle Magazine this past summer that woke culture was "racializing" French society, Zenger reported.

"I see that our society is becoming progressively racialized," he said.

Several members of his government have also shared anti-woke views, including Elisabeth Moreno, the french French delegate minister for gender equality and diversity. "The ‘woke’ culture is something very dangerous, and we shouldn’t bring it to France," she told Bloomberg News in May.

A panel at the year's "Tocqueville Conversations," near Normandy discussed the perceived decline of free speech and expression in the United States that some attribute to "woke" culture.

"Our mantra is that we should talk even if we strongly disagree. Nothing prevents you from talking and exchanging and dialoguing," Jean-Guillaume de Tocqueville, the descendant of 19th-century liberal philosopher Alexis de Tocqueville, told the news outlet. "The French Revolution was an event that led to a bloody civil war because the people who were not in agreement with the new ideas, the really revolutionary ideas, were just killed and beheaded. It was not a good way to debate."

The French criticism of the U.S. comes amid a fracture in American-French relations. Secretary of State Antony Blinken is slated to travel to France next week after Australia canceled a deal to purchase a French submarine in favor of creating a new Indo-Pacific security arrangement with Washington and the United Kingdom.

In an unprecedented move, Macron recalled its ambassadors to the U.S. and Australia

Pennsylvania students want classmate banned from campus for opposing pronoun policy

A group of Point Park University students in Pittsburgh launched a petition to have their fellow classmate banned from campus after he criticized the school's pronoun policy.

Campus Reform Correspondent and Point Park University student Logan Dubil was met with a petition from his classmates to school administrators that demanded his removal from campus for criticizing the university's "Misgendering, Pronoun Misuse, and Deadnaming Policy," which Fox News previously reported.

The petition, which has now been deleted and was created by "Max," appeared on Change.org and claimed "Dubil and others like him are the scum of the Earth," according to Campus Reform.

"We need to remove Logan Dubil from campus as well as others like him who refuse to respect other people pronouns," the petition stated. The petition referenced a policy from the university that requires students to address classmates by their preferred pronouns.

"When I first became aware of the petition to remove me from campus, my stomach dropped," Dubil told Fox News. "I thought to myself, ‘is there really a student out there at Point Park University that wants me kicked out due to a differing opinion?’ Then I began to refresh the petition every couple of minutes. With each refresh came ten to twenty new signatures."

Dubil was first to bring the policy to light after the university warned students that "action could be taken" against students who do not comply with the policy. Dubil also said the school’s policies "go against many students’ belief systems, especially conservative students."

Dubil wrote a letter to administrators, saying "enough is enough." In the letter, Dubil requested a statement from the school and reassurance that the "First Amendment is respected on campus."

An accounting professor at UCLA said he filed a lawsuit against the school after it put him on leave and allegedly threatened to fire him for not grading Black student’s more leniently than their peers.

"Recently, I was suspended from my job for refusing to treat my black students as lesser than their non-black peers," Gordon Klein wrote in an op-ed titled, "Why I Am Suing UCLA."

Woke's most poisonous twist yet: The return of segregation as one American university hires 82 diversity officers -costing $10M

(Excerpts)

Last week, Western Washington University announced 'black only' housing as part of its diversity and inclusion programme.

Boasting about designating an entire floor of the Alma Clark Glass Hall as reserved for 'Black Affinity Housing', the university's website proudly proclaimed the move 'will explore and celebrate the diversity of Black and African American people and culture'.

It has been dubbed 'the crazy end game' of wokeism. 'The irony is that these rules have been brought in by well-meaning liberals after the horror of George Floyd [the Minneapolis man killed by a white policeman] but the end game is segregation, however you look at it,' said the university whistle-blower.

Black and white students are now being encouraged to study separately and attend graduation ceremonies based on colour or gender. Columbia University in New York held separate ceremonies for Latin, Black, Native American and Asian students, as well as a 'Lavender' graduation for LGBTQ students.
______________

'Campuses are becoming increasingly divided into sub-sets. You have the LGBTQ groups, the Mexicans, Native American Indians, Women of Colour, Lesbian Women of Colour, gender-fluid groups, BIPOC… I can go on forever. There are so many different groups.'

According to The Wall Street Journal, higher education in the US now stands for 'mob rule, civil ignorance and contempt for truth and free enquiry'. It concluded that: 'America's universities were once the leading edge of an advanced culture, reinforcing and expanding the country's best features. They steered differences of opinion away from rancour and toward well-regulated, informed debate. They welcome eccentric opinions, expanded the boundaries of thought… and prepared students for citizenship.

I would think so normally, however our current socialist government is not enforcing the laws of the land on any reasonable scale...We have a president who ran his election campaign as a moderate and preached of unity yet we see how far left he has been executing his powers and his actions have been a far cry from uniting the country...The president, his administration, and his political party has divided this country worse than any previous president and administration...

I mentioned a week ago that we haven't seen any peaks yet in this woke movement, I still think the worst is yet to come...

Woke war erupts in Chicago as DA Kim Foxx says she's 'mortified' Mayor Lori Lightfoot called for charges over deadly street shoot-out last week

A war of words erupted between Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, inset, and District Attorney Kim Foxx, top, after the mayor criticized Foxx for not charging the assailants in a shootout in the North Austin neighborhood of the city last week. Lightfoot said on Monday that there is enough video evidence and officers who witnessed the crime to bring charges against those involved, and criticized Foxx for saying she would not do so. But Foxx claims the video evidence was not clear about who started the shootout and said it was 'inappropriate' for the mayor to discuss the case as it remains under investigation.
