The World is on Edge.

Normally, I'm the one that's on edge, I'm a high strung person, I try to be as relaxed as possible but lately, I've been noticing, It's not just me, Everyone, Everywhere is on Edge, In this Video, Anderson Cooper Basically ends this woman's political career, Now admittedly, This woman shouldn't be leading a game of pattycake let alone Lac Vagas Nevada with an attitude like hers. She's an easy-going woman, but pay attention to what she's saying. She is perfectly willing to open up las vegas and use every resident as national Ginni pigs just to test Coronavirus medications on the people. But, Anderson was literally Brutal here, She is finished. This was not Graceful.

In this Video, Trump Blames China for the COVID-19 Pandemic. And that's fine that's all politics really a blame game, Personally, I just don't believe China would literally unleash a biological weapon on the entire Earth purposely. I have that much faith in humanity. But it's up to each person to decide if that's the case or not.

At a later Date, Trump goes on to say there could be consequences for China regarding the Coronavirus outbreak.

In this Video Fox news makes it clear that their view is that China has been lying about the Virus since the beginning. It's an interesting debate between Tucker Carlson and a relatively reasonable politician and his views on this.

So Yeah. I know it's the Coronavirus, But What I'm getting at is, Social distancing seems to have extended to people's personalities. Everyone is just a little bit more on edge lately, It's not a relaxed atmosphere even online and even in the forums. Where are the friendly people? Where is the welcoming Family like feeling that used to be here? I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the forums, Or the people, But times are different now, Casual conversation and ordinary banter have all but disappeared. I miss the old days when everyone was friendly and a person could even be a goof and people not only tolerated that, they joined in the banter.

Now if someone is a goof, People look at them like they are retarded and either ignore them completely or call them out for wasting people's time on less serious matters.

It's just no fun. Where's the Fun? Everyone acts so proper and so serious, it's like I was a hermit before, But now, I could properly choose to be a hermit because most people have the sense of humor of an Ikea Instruction booklet. I hate what This Coronavirus Stress has done to people, It's hurting a lot more about Society than people think.

People are getting so stuffy and serious. I will never be like that, Being serious is for boring people. I'm just high strung, The number of times I have ever been serious one could probably count on one hand. Those times happen for me, but not very often.

I don't know man,

I miss the days when people could be laid back and not so serious. I understand these are harsh times and no one really feels Jovial, I get that. But I do miss those simpler times. So much :startcrying:

That was hilarious =D I caught the first half of that interview over dinner tonight and that woman is clearly incapable of higher reasoning. I consider Anderson Cooper to be a vested puppet of the Deep State and a willful collaborator to the corporate takeover of America, but his reactions were priceless and in this instance I could totally relate to his shock and incredulity at the endless paradoxical statements that she was spouting out like a fountain of glaring contradictions.

It's true - most of us are laughing much less these days, and everyone's on edge.

But that's neither an indictment nor a failing, because to put it bluntly - at a very profound level we humans are tribal pack animals...we don't just enjoy social interaction and proximal intimacy; we need it. So this situation is toxic to us, just as putting a goldfish in an aquarium of acetone is toxic to the goldfish. We literally need contact and closeness, and we can't have that right now without risking the lives of those we love, so we're all malfunctioning to one extent or another.

You're an exceptionally loving and jovial guy, so I suggest that you keep on doing your thing and spreading the good vibes and light-hearted humor. Because in a situation like this, that's like a superpower - you can help us all chill tf out and keep in touch with our humanity, so we can get through this without losing ourselves.

In the final analysis we may look back in a year or two and see that it was Shadowprophet who kept us from losing our ever-loving minds in the face of the most monumental crisis to confront human civilization in over a century ;

For my part, your post reminded me that in times of strife we should all consult the comedian/philosopher Bill Hicks to enjoy his rare brand of truth in humor:

Thank you brother, There are good people out there still. Even on Twitter one guy approached me and suggested I plant a Garden, Which I already have. I just don't want people thinking I've abandoned Online. I think Truly everything is just getting to everyone, And I believe this is one of the times when I could really benefit from my summer activities. If I leave for a while, I just want you to know And the rest of you guys, It's only because Everyone is on edge and even me. No one is at their best right now, and everyone has a perfectly valid excuse.

I've heard the term invisible enemy a lot in the news lately. That's what it's like, It's like we are all being threatened by an invisible enemy. It's not just here, It's all of society everywhere. And what makes it harder is everyone is completely justified to feel that way. I think for a little bit, I'm going to take a break, But it's not for any kind of horrible reason. I think I need a recharge. I mean, I think everyone really does, But at the same time, A recharge won't hurt me any.

You guys are all awesome, You all are my home away from home, I will be back without a doubt probably sooner than I am thinking. but a few days to a week of nothing but my Dogs and my Garden, That sounds so good right now.

:)

As above, so bellow
The World Is On Edge ...

Everything is relative. This is nothing in comparison with many other historical hardships that fell onto various people. Just take your pick: massive bloodshed during American Civil war and Napoleonic wars ( generals used same tactics of mass charges that killed more of their own men than enemies ), bombing of London, fire bombing of Hamburg, 1917 flu pandemic, Hiroshima bombing, Nazi concentration camps, Mongol invasions of Europe and China, ethical cleansing by Romans of countless Asian tribes entering Europe, Apartheid, Soviet gulags, Japanese testing of chemical agents on Chinese and Korean population, Mao Zedong's Cultural Revolution, Turkish starvation and killing of few millions of Kurdish people, North Korea's current political prison camps etc etc.

Sorry I forgot AOC's favorite, slaughter of Red Indians by US ;-)

We simply run out of toilet paper and sit at home and watch Netflix. Actually sales of Yoga mats are skyrocketing. This pandemic is taking care of global warming, plus as a free extra bonus, we are not anymore force fed with articles about Greta Thunberg's opinions.

Truth be told, the main reason I've been spending more time here lately is because I've been avoiding Facebook. I'm so tired of the virus and the divisive preachy debates people are engaging in there.

At least after 9/11 people, for the most part, seemed to be very united. With this pandemic everyone seems to be off on their own tangent.

I sincerely hope and pray the summer weather delivers a body blow to the virus and that it doesn't come back in a different form.
