3 Kamchatka volcanoes explode simultaneously while the seismic swarm continues rattling Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland
Volcanoes in the northern hemisphere are currently very active. Within the last few hours, the Bezymianny, Klyuchevskoy and Karymsky volcanoes in kamchatka have erupted violently sending plumes of ash and gas sevral thousands meters in the air. Meanwhile an important seismic swarm is currently rattling the Reykjanes Peninsula in Iceland… And it could also lead to a large volcanic eruption in the area!

An explosive eruption of the Bezymianny volcano occurred on October 21, 2020 at 20:22 UTC, sending a cloud of ash 5,000 meters (16,400 ft) in the air towards the Klyuchevskaya group of volcanoes.
The VAAC Tokyo issued 4 different ash scattering advisorytimes, since the plume crossed various air routes during its dispersion.
A red aviation code was issued, before changing to orange.
Klyuchevskoy and Karymsky volcanic eruptions
Two other volcanoes are active in the Kamchatka Peninsula: Klyuchevskoy and Karymsky. At Klyuchevskoy, the explosive-effusive eruption continues at a moderate level.

The almost continuous explosions produce plumes of gas and vapor, containing a little ash, at an altitude of about 5,200 meters (17,060 feet), drifting north-east.

The thermal anomalies noted by Mirova were max. VRP 778 MW on October 20, 457MW on October 21 and Between VRP 652 and 425 MW on October 22, 2020.
At Karymsky, ash plumes are rising up to 4,000 meters (13,120 feet) and drifting southeast of the volcano over a distance of 40 km. The last explosions at Karymsky were reported on July 29, 2020.

Moderate eruptive activity of the volcano continues. Ash explosions up to 19,700-23,000 feet (6-7 km) above sea level could occur at any time. Ongoing activities could affect low-flying planes.
Meanwhile in Iceland
The Reykjanes peninsula has been hit by more than 2,000 earthquakes since the M5.6 quake on October 20, 2020.

About 30 aftershocks were larger than M3.0 and some were felt in the Reykjanes Peninsula, the capital region and Borgarfjördur. Officials have asked travelers and hikers to be careful about landslides and rockfalls as the seismic swarm continues.
