This is the way I feel about the entire UFO phenomenon. There are some incidents which I believe are genuine alien encounters but, unfortunately, there are far too many fabricated and/or outlandish cases that critics get to grab and use as ammunition. You want to have a serious discussion about aliens and then someone inevitably brings up the testimonial of some woman in Butte, Montana who claims she was impregnated by Elvis on one of Saturn's rings and expects you to defend her story.

Its the clowns from Rendlesham that are doing the same thing.....their stories are getting more and more sensational and they are looking more and more like they are obviously making it up.
