Take it for a ride to some scenic place nearby and make some really good photos. This machines don't run on batteries, they will be extingct in few years. You won't regret it.

Turns out the dieseling was an easy fix and we were out running errands in it this morning. Local park, nothing particularly scenic but it's what's on the menu today. I have some more thoughts on stuff and things but figured hobbies might be the spot for that.

Isn't that a tree? Might be a little close to your house depending on how big it gets.?

I spent a good part of the afternoon cleaning and detaining my car inside and out, it needed a good wax too, looks shiny again lol...That pic is in a parking lot in town earlier today after I was finished...

Strange thing occurred when I was leaving town today...I was on the main road and a beat up old red pickup truck was about to turn off the main road behind me in another lane and suddenly he gases the truck and gets up behind me rather quickly, I was watching this in my rear view mirror...He then raises up in his seat and snaps a picture of my license plate, follows behind me a couple blocks more before turning off on as quickly as he jumped behind me...I was ahead of him by then and went in home, but that bothers me, why would he snap a pic of my tag, is he planning some robberies around here and going to try to find my address from the license plate?...I don't know...

...

They do that around here. Not just to vehicles but to people too. It's a robbery prevention program and it is done to people and cars that have never been seen in the area before.

They get to about 15' x 15', i have several already around my property, mostly along down through my fenceline with rose of sharon`s inbetween, and one behind the garage. I dont know if i`m gonna like it i might end up just putting up a fence of sorts to shade my A/C instead and the rest of the utilities. but the tree grows fast i was wanting to shade the area ya know. kinda of a weird spot i looked for differant trees, cypress, hedges,. I guess it all started cause i was having to replace motors and capacitors alot on the a/c. the condensation line ran and dripped right by it and ants were all up in it so i spayed the ants and lengthened the drip line to the corner by the tree, hopefully the water dont kill it. i looked at getting 3 4x4 post and some privacy lattice. i bought this instead hoping it grow to maturity quick.

my crappy house

It's way better than my crappy apartment. :) You know I have those dual hose ac units. Well when it gets to the exact temp that I set it for, it shuts off. That means that the hose that blows the hot air out is off. I swear the bugs sit right outside the hose waiting for that to happen. They then crawl in and and manage to squeeze through the smallest opening. q5 Drives me crazy.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a beautiful tree. Maybe you could try planting peonies flowers on the opposite side of the yard. Ants tend to gravitate to those flowers like cats to catnip.

The shadow

The shadow knows!
Today we learned that the creep that tried to pick up Debbie on the bus plead guilty. In all he got 3counts solicitation of a minor.
3 counts felony stalking.
Debbie said she does not want a impact statement. Nor do I. Debbie was just hit on and she left. She wants to move on
As for me I want 5min in a locked room with the creep. But I will settle for many years in jail for him...

Thanks he had sat next to her asked her for "her digits" tried to get her to go to his place. She got off at a partaly closed coffee shop and saw he had got off to and was walking in her direction.
Debbie ran into the girls room called 911 and us.
He told the staff he was waiting on his "girlfriend" we arrived to see the cops talking to Debbie. The creep was arrested after doing the same to two other girls. He made no effort to hide his crime. What he told the cops is unprintable.

The 'vette has a standard issue Muncie M21 wide ratio 4 speed. Means it has a pretty liberal first gear. When I looked up the stampings it says it's from '67 passenger car. If you got an automatic it was strictly the Turbo-Hyrdamatic 400.

My old Chevelle was a very healthy big block and it had a Muncie M22 Rock Crusher in it. Still does as far as I know. The guy that has it keeps telling me he's bringing it over. I'll believe it when I see it.

must .... have .... clutch ...... other wise my left foot gets bored

I buy them cooked and frozen by the bag full at Costco. It's a very large bag for about $20 and I only make 6 pieces at a time with some shoe string fries and a small tossed salad. The bag of wings can last for up to a year. :smile3:

Salt & pepper are my favorite, then honey garlic. :lovely:

I once had a 65 Impala big block that had a powerglide transmission, which is why I asked about the Chevelle, I didn't know how common those 2 speed trannys were lol...

Definitely agree about manual transmissions, need a clutch and need control of my vehicle, a manual transmission gives the driver more control...I loved driving the 1st gen RX-7 I once had, 5 speed with a rotary engine, that car was a lot of fun...The car I'm driving now has shift ability in an automatic transmission, first one I've owned like this, it's also the first Ford (Lincoln) I've ever owned too...I was going to trade the car but decided to keep the car and get another Jeep with a stick and clutch, once that happens the car will likely be driven less lol...The car is paid for and it runs great, no issues so why not keep it, it's nice to drive for road trips...
