Twitter 'whistleblower' leaks video of Dorsey telling staff actions will be 'much bigger' than Trump ban

A leaked recording of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey suggests that the company's policy enforcement actions will go far beyond banning President Trump.

The right-wing guerilla news outlet Project Veritas released a clip on Thursday given to them by a purported Twitter "insider whistleblower" who secretly recorded remarks by Dorsey to staff.

"You should always feel free to express yourself in whatever format manifestation feels right," Dorsey said in the clip.

Dorsey, who recently addressed the controversy over his company's decision to permanently suspend the president, told staff in a virtual meeting that Twitter will do a "full retro" that will "take some time," but drew focus to the platform's former most high-profile account.

"We know we are focused on one account right now, but this is going to be much bigger than just one account, and it’s going to go on for much longer than just this day, this week, and the next few weeks, and go on beyond the inauguration," Dorsey said. "So, the focus is certainly on this account and how it ties to real-world violence. But also, we need to think much longer-term around how these dynamics play out over time. I don't believe this is going away anytime soon."

Dorsey then referenced actions taken against QAnon conspiracy theorists as part of a recent purge of Twitter accounts, telling staff it's part of a "much broader approach that we should be looking at and going deeper on."

"You know, the U.S. is extremely divided. Our platform is showing that every single day," Dorsey later said. "And our role is to protect the integrity of that conversation and do what we can to make sure that no one is being harmed based off that. And that is our focus."

Project Veritas founder James O'Keefe teased Thursday that more leaks from Twitter may come, saying "we've had over a dozen people reach out to us this week with video evidence inside Twitter."

"Stay tuned," O'Keefe told viewers. "They may be private companies, but they have more power than all three branches of government."

A Twitter spokesperson told Fox News, "The remarks shown in the video were delivered to our more than 5,400 employees and are nearly the same words Jack shared in a recent Tweet Thread offering context around and reflections on our work to protect the conversation in recent weeks."

And who is going to stop him? Nobody in the new Government, that's for sure.

OK I've never posted or had a Twitter account. So I am not up on the latest. Were
these UFOlogists that they are picking on posting things that were pro-Trump? Or
are they simply being banned for their belief in aliens?

That's what's bothering me as well.

Despite all the encouraging press Navy Tic Tac UFOs received, mainstream still perceives as conspiracy theorist. Which I kind of find offensive, because there are tons of engineering data nobody wants to look at.

It's hard to keep up, some days everyone connected to ufotwitter are tossing political banter back and forth, other days it's hate Trump day, or arguing amongst each other about something someone else said...Lots of drama and emotional outbursts on Twitter across the board, don't get me wrong, there's some genuine good stuff that gets shared on twitter and I use it to promote the forum, but its also used as an outhouse for many who want to say anything and everything without filters...I think the Twitter algorithms cause much of the strive in the way topics are associated, mixed, and dumped into people's live feeds of tweets and replies...

This is a relatively new medium that developed amazingly fast and we'll be going through a generation or two of adjustment. It'll get sorted out eventually. I think of it like one of those busy bee things you put in front of little kids that has a steering wheel, a horn, a rotary dial, maybe a mirror or a couple of lights. Something to keep the easily amused easily amused. Now, if only our governments didn't have their privates caught in it ........

They shadow ban me on Quora and have been for awhile. Not on all topics or answers, just on the ones that they do not like. Usually the ones that contain truth about the world's history. I have nearly a million views so it would be tough to totally ban me, but I'm sure they will get around to it. I was on the top five author list (two in some cases) of three different subjects, but then one day I answered the truth about a UFO incident and they removed me altogether from any rankings. Not sure which branch of Intelligence is sponsoring Quora but they do have their masters. And no, I have never posted there on politics. But I might start.

Are you the lawyer guy from Midwest?

I mean if this is not communism I don't know what it is? We are all aged cold war baby boomers with the harmless hobby of researching the mysteries of the universe. We do not incite any violence against anybody, including the aliens. Sooner or later the only allowed discussion topic would be cooking recipes and weight loss :)

No, I'm from the South. Talk about an odd couple - cooking and weight loss together again.
Yes, we are simply trying to get a bit closer to the truth, but sometimes that can be contagious.

Once I went to a local magazine store called WH Smith and counted magazines by gender interest, just for fun. They had approximately 50 male magazines and about 15 female. Male magazines were on all the numerous subjects: photography, business, boats, airplanes, model trains, sports, traveling, mountain climbing, finances, DIY, etc., etc. All female magazines were just about 4 subjects: how to cook, how to lose weight, how to look pretty, and how to do nothing (relax).

Obviously, somebody who cooks a lot will have a problem with weight loss :)

But, maybe because all this focus on Trumpism, we completely sidestepped and forgot about the much bigger issue of male liberation.

Magazines are now gender fluid.

There is no need to re tune your set.
