At 72, he probably would have become eligible to receive the vaccine months ago. If he had had it then, then he would probably would not have had to go through that now. He declined to be part of the 'experiment' of taking a vaccine, but volunteered instead for the escaped virus experiment.

I've seen pictures of two of the six women who got these blood clots and both of them were overweight or obese which tells me likely the others are similar and probably all six have pre-existing conditions because of their lifestyles...

Johnson & Johnson said on Tuesday it will resume rolling out its COVID-19 vaccine in Europe after the region's medical regulator said the benefits of the shot outweigh the risk of very rare, potentially lethal blood clots.
Europe's health regulator, the European Medicines Agency (EMA), on Tuesday recommended adding a warning about rare blood clots with low blood platelet count to the vaccine's product label and said the benefits of the one-dose shot outweigh its risks.

I think traveling on public transportation such as planes and trains people have to be tested first whether they were vaccinated or not...Don't quote me on that, I've heard that but not sure if its true...

A Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) advisory committee is recommending that the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine resume rollout, but include new language on the product’s emergency use authorization (EUA) warning remote risks of serious blood clots.
The Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices held the vote Friday after the FDA and CDC had recommended a pause in the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine rollout last week due to several instances of a rare, severe blood clot amid a backdrop of over 7 million recipients.
The vote was 10 to 4. One committee member abstained. The recommendation will now go before CDC Director Dr. Rochelle Walensky for approval.

I showed up and they said it would be a moderna vaccine so I canceled. I have a friend that has been worrying about me and said she was so excited I was going to get the vaccine, then got pissed because I didn't. She has severe anxiety issues, I just wish she would not include me in those. She calmed down after a bit but based on her comment this morning in a text I think she is still upset with me. I have my reasons for not wanting moderna or pfizer and I am a fully functioning adult so I can make my own decisions. I am a control freak but I know other people's lives are off limits. My control issues revolve around how people I hire to do work act or how they do the job. I do sometimes tell my kids things but I know they are grown and any backlash I get from them I deserve.
I will make a new appointment Monday since the J&J is back after Friday. I believe this is corprorate war and we are the pawns.

not sure why this idea is so selective lately.
if your friend backs abortion rights, ask them why this is any different.
I have never got any reply to that question so far. (they just quit talking to me...)

also, if the vaccines work, then why does anyone care at all if someone skips it ?
I tell people that I prefer to take my chances with nature, a flu is likely not going to kill me, and if I am sick I stay home so I don't spread it. so why do they care so much ?
seems like the vaccine fanatics deal with it like some sort of religious talisman, and if one person fails to have it, the village will be destroyed by god

I think it's mainly the idea of having herd immunity which would be likely 70% to 90% of the population vaccinated...I doubt this will be achieved now because of the various more deadly or more contagious mutations that keep popping up...This problem with new Covid variants/mutations is pushing us in the direction of another round of shots and possibly annual booster shots to follow soon after...If this happens they can count me out, I'm not doing annual boosters, that's like getting a flu shot every year and I will never do that either...So if Johnson & Johnson comes along and says they have a singular booster shot to help boost the shot I already got from them, then I will likely get it, and that will likely be the last shot I get for the sake of this pandemic...

if people were looking for herd immunity,
they should have told the at risk people to stay isolated and have everyone else continue at normal.
but instead they told everyone to stay isolated.
the way they set policy it would seem as if they were set on infecting every last person.
likely from policies that tech industry set.
they are filtering doctors talking with each others...
it is more than a year after this mess started,
and even the science can not agree...

I called today to make a new appointment for the J&J vaccine. I was redirected to a nurse who had to do research on when the vaccine would be released and distributed. She told me to check back in a couple of days. I still feel like this was a purposeful distraction and and attempt to discredit the J&J vaccine and I believe that in 2 years we will have all the data compiled and reported and it will show that the Pfizer and Moderna are not as good as the J&J, with more dangerous side effects as well as being less effective.

I agree and another thing I find suspicious is that they have mentioned age groups of those who have got a blood clot however there is no mention of the individual's weight and if they had pre-exisitng conditions nor listing any other prescribed medications they were on...The latter is sort of important if any of them were taking medications containing nitrates which can be highly reactive to other medications...The weight of the individual's are very important, if all these people were overweight or obese thats a contributing factor because obesity means a less active person who would be more inclined to get a blood clot verses an active average or slender individual...

Its very possible they were all smokers...
Its interesting from my point of view the coincidence of this talk of blood clots that recently came up and with me having a blood clot for the first time ever but before I got the J&J shot lol...Being normally regularly active then getting sick and bedridden and hospitized over a 4 week period and I get a superficial blood clot...So I was already taking a prescribed blood thinner when I received the covid shot and still taking that blood thinner currently, I have a week left until I'm done with it...The blood clot I had which was near my ankle has been gone for a few days now...
