Two Very Good Superhero Shows on Now

One DC, one Marvel.

Marvel: The second episode of Loki is now available. Last week was very good, and the new ep sounds very good as well. (Technically, Loki is not quite a hero, or at least not always.) By the way, last week it was revealed that Loki was the culprit behind an infamous, criminal incident.
He was D.B. Cooper! :p

DC: I've seen 9 episodes of Superman & Lois so far. It is definitely is the best CW superhero show in many years. The only historical competition for me would be Smallville.
In another thread I reported that a black character called 'Captain Luthor' was in the show. The speculation was about his connection, if any, to Lex Luthor. Well, it has been revealed that
in reality he is John Henry Irons, from an alternate universe. His use of the name Luthor was merely incidental.

I used to like Legends of Tomorrow on the CW but it got a little too campy for my taste lol...

I actually like LOT a lot. Better comedy than MODOK.
It started out as a serious show, but around season 4, I think, it reinvented itself. That's probably the main divide between those who used to like it and those who still do (or even like it more).

I've watched the two most recent installments of each. Both were very good.

Superman & Lois had an almost epic episode where Superman et. al. just managed to
defeat his Kryptonian half-brother and a small invasion army of super-powered, resurrected Krptonians.

As for Loki, it took a sharp turn from what the first episode seemed to be setting up.
Loki has apparently joined forces with the murderous renegade, who is a female version of himself. And she just set off a whole bunch of timeline disrupting bombs.

What season and episode number was this Superman & Lois episode?...

Season 1, episode 10: "O Mother, Where Art Thou?"

Yeah that was a good episode, I just finished watching it, the first one I've seen from this series...I'll watch some of the other episodes this weekend...

One thing kind of strange, at least for me, Superman's brother on Earth the whole time?...Kind of felt like they had to do that to make to plot work lol...What Superman did to get the energy to stop the Kryptonians was very clever...Did he catch all those people when he turned those people back to humans?...They were flying and would have all fallen to their deaths when they became human again...

Yes. I surmise it could be connected with the various universes being either destroyed or partially merged in the Crisis crossover. Captain Luther aka John Henry Irons described a more disastrous invasion on his former world.

In the series, he is consistently shown as being very, very fast, so I assume that's what happened.

If you're watching on CW you may have to put up with commercials.

Episode One was good with the intro of Captain Luthor, Clark Kent's kids are a mess but at the end of the episode they showed promise of maturing more as time goes on lol...Yeah I like this series so far...

I'm up to episode 7 now, just started watching it,
so Superman is evil in some other universes, interesting...Captain Luther's reality had a bad Superman which he may assume all Supermans in all other realities are bad too judging by his actions of trying to kill this Superman in this universe...

Your deduction is correct.
In his universe he was married to the Lois there, who that Superman murdered.
I gather that to have gotten this far you like the series.
