Spent many hours watching The Golden Girls as a kid, in fact that show was playing on the hospital TV while my daughter was being born. I'm glad that Betty was able to remain active and in good mental state right up to the end. It would be really sad to think of her wasting away as an invalid.

'This is disgusting': Chicago journalist sparks outrage after joking The Queen should have died instead of Betty White

Nylah Burton, a writer for Bustle who works as a 'sexual assault prevention specialist,' reacted as many did to the television legend's death but put a bizarre spin on it. 'BETTY WHITE IS DEAD!?! Why couldn't it have been Queen Elizabeth?' Burton tweeted from the now dead account. Initially, despite the outrage, Burton chose to go at it again in a second tweet Friday evening. Burton - who has also written for Vox, Bitch Media and Shondaland - set her account to private initially, but eventually took it down completely later Friday.

Very sad to hear, Thomas Morrison has passed away this month in his sleep of a heart attack...His sister posted this on Facebook...

...

"My little brother, Thomas Randolph Morrison (Randy as we called him) has passed away suddenly, apparently of a heart attack in his sleep. He was one of a kind. Creative, fiercely loyal and loving, opinionated about everything, and so excited about his upcoming Pygmalion and Hermes parades. He was the designer and sculptor for both. His sculptures are in a half dozen parades in New Orleans floats every year. They recycle them because they are that good. He loved New Orleans and influenced Mardi Gras for two decades, taking the floats to a new level of artistry. Can't believe he is gone."

I must say, this is astonishing. From what I knew of him, as well as from the photo, he was neither elderly nor obese. I also had never heard of him being in ill health. Beyond that, all I can say is may he rest in peace.

He was younger than I, I'm 57yo currently, I can't remember the year he was born, he told me once but I think he was in his late 40s or very early 50s...

Honestly I'm wondering if the mRNA vaccines had something to do with this, there have been so many 'sudden' deaths over the past 8-10 months, seems too coincidental, but I could be wrong...
