Ordering him to repay and getting him to do it are two different things. He said he pocketed 1.5 million and that it was put into three irrevocable trusts for his daughters. He can revoke them and I wonder if they'll squeeze him enough to do it and how. If he actually does have to cough up the cake and hand it over to the AG I wonder what the hell they'll do with it.
He wrote a book about leadership in times of crisis so I'd say all he has to do is draw on his evident expertise to un**** himself from all this.

The Manhattan district attorney's office is closing its investigation into former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo's handling of nursing home COVID-19 deaths without bringing charges against Cuomo, according to the former governor's attorney.
"I was contacted today by the head of the Elder Care Unit from the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office who informed me they have closed its investigation involving the Executive Chamber and nursing homes," Elkan Abramowitz, a former federal prosecutor who had been hired to represent Cuomo, said Monday. "I was told that after a thorough investigation — as we have said all along — there was no evidence to suggest that any laws were broken."

It takes a certain type of personality that is disassociated from reality to go in front of a church after being credibly accused of sexual harassment and claim you are the victim. It is difficult for me to understand why men like Andrew Cuomo can't simply let things go, try to absolve and atone for their abhorrent behavior and live the rest of his life quietly with his enormous wealth and family. I can only speculate that it has something to do with an addiction to power and fame. The state is better off and will be more prosperous now that he is gone. His entire attempt at a redemption tour is sloppy and ill-timed. Go back to wherever you came from Andrew, no one wants to see your face anymore, and take your brother Chris with you.

Well, they look like a fairly typical Holiness/Full Gospel sort of church at least on their webpage. But still, very bad choice on their part. Cuomo is a nominal Catholic. I really don't think he came to speak at that church to share his testimony about what Jesus is doing in his life, and they should have recognized that. He was just looking for a podium and audience.
