old comics that didn't make it to the 21st century

Divine
Extraño, a homosexual Peruvian magician, with energy powers and every gay stereotype you can think of. Presumably the Guardians had also failed in their research when choosing him for a breeding partner. Was eventually revealed to be HIV positive, possibly as a result of an attack by the AIDS-powered vampire Hemo-Goblin. Go ahead and read that last sentence again
Yeah. Poor choice of a name and a source of power.

Unless the fat dude is supposed to be a bad guy, that definitely counts as racist.

I don't get it though. Are the humans able to breathe underwater?

I don't think its underwater, its not said on the cover although that one alien has a head shaped like Mantis of DC comics and that sting ray shaped alien appears to be swimming, I think its flying...I think its an underground cavern, the footer says underworld...

I'm tempted to buy it to read lol...

Danger girl and Gen 13. These comics had normal and adult versions.
The adult versions had nudity and sex abounding. And are worth hundreds today

I had never heard of them. Hopefully this is not inappropriate given it is on YouTube.

I just looked the video over. Believe it or not all that is from the normal version. The adult version was far more over the top.

Another comic that reveled in an underdressed female hero was razor.
It did not last long and a varient cover of this sold for $400 on ebay.

I actually remember nothing - literally blank pages.

My grandfather worked for Western Publishing as a lithographer for 40+ years. He took us to the plant in Poughkeepsie a few times and as far as I know, that's where they printed Golden Key comics and a number of other kid's books like Scratch and Sniff. I only remember enormous machines and mountains of stuff and our next door neighbor's wooden leg. He fell into a machine and as the story goes it was the Roosevelts that bought him the prosthesis. Gramp would bring home reams of folded but unprinted unstapled comic book paper that I would scribble all over. Still have some around here somewhere. I remember that very clearly not the comics themselves.

The roof of our old horse barn was tin, and when you got up there to do kid stuff you could see it must've been part of the process, there was a readable encyclopedia printed on the tin in mirror image.
