Brothers freaked out after spotting tube-shaped UFO hovering over garden

Having snapped more than my fair share of low level C17 pics with an iPhone 8 I'd say two things. One is that the camera on a 10 is obviously an improvement and Two is that thing had to be damned big. If it were small and low the iPhone would have been in it's sweet spot to get a good pic. They suck at long distance aerial shots. So, assuming this is what has been stated and there's been no kanoodling of the image, this is damned weird. I am not seeing a plane in there but that's what the article says.

BACK TO THE FUTURE
Brothers freaked out after spotting bizarre tube-shaped UFO hovering over their back garden

A PAIR of brothers have been left freaked out after they spotted a bizarre tube-shaped UFO hovering over their back garden.

They spotted the peculiar object floating in the sky and yesterday posted pictures to social media.

They wrote on Reddit under the name MassacreYKS: "We stargaze, like to take amateur pictures of the sky etc.

"I posted this on another thread and he said as the night mode was used to take the picture.

“It keeps the shutter open longer and this is most likely a plane with two lights along the side and flashing red light in the centre.

“The camera shutter stayed open long enough to capture the middle light flashing."

Baffled social media users soon rushed to give their two cents on the strange images which were taken on an iPhone 10 on October 21.

That's an interesting photograph, the object in question is very intriguing and unique...I saw this article on MU which highlights the similarity of that object in the photo to the UFOs in this painting below...

It does look big, I was thinking as long as a B52, maybe bigger...

There is this new YT channel, that I only discovered recently.

Basically an retired USAF F-16 pilot goes through many recent aerial UFO videos and images and analyses them from a point of view of a military pilot. Military pilots are not just very good at judging distances but because each pilot is essential an engineer they are very good at braking down the mathematics and estimating object sizes. So in each one of his video he uses geometry and maths to tell us how big was UFO which reduces number of possible explanations.

Enjoy:

How come those coordinates are too blurry when I look at them can't see diddly squat.

Google Earth shows it just fine for me on my tablet...

Great article about the Ring-Shaped UFO phenomenon:

These are just "Earth burps" and have nothing to do with aliens.

For whatever reason there are pockets of pressurised gas trapped in soil and weather changes things and water flow through the soil etc. sometimes cracks form and that gas escapes from the pocket. Because gas comes through very narrow channel it forms a smoke ring.

Not really mysterious at all.

That does indeed seem like a good explanation for what is seen. a bubble of warm air rising with the darkest condensation at the edges, makes sense. and no apparent disturbance in the clouds above suggesting a bubble of cold air sinking. I like it.

Hi Nivek, hope your doing well matey, ... but does Reflection of ceiling lamp on the window that the picture was taken seem too simple an answer? .. not to me it doesn't , knowing that this picture is from no other than 'Richard Lawrence' from way back 1978 , which is around the time that as a teenager I was avidly scrounging all of the info-channels of the day [books and magazine articles... yep! .. no www back then lol] and I remember that by fault of being a know-nothing-whippersnapper, ... I greedily swallowed a lot of BS peddled by people such as this nutty-new-age-god-bothering-zealot , whom himself is the chief disciple [and continuation-epitome] of 'George King'1950's kook that created the Aetherius Society. [the type of movement that has thousands of followers that are happy to meet in rural places to sing Kumbaya en masse' to entice down the god-loving-aliens in their flying saucers. etc ....
... don't take my word for it, look the fellow up and see if he's more credible than i'm making out, and here's a video of his Aetherius Society presentation from last year... you can skip the tedious part of the lecture and skip to about the 1:09min mark for the 'good stuff'! ....

Clip of saucer-shaped 'UFO' goes viral on TikTok

(Video on the link)

Footage of a large disc-shaped object emerging from the clouds has racked up millions of views on social media. The clip, which was posted up by TikTok user Nesha Higgins, shows a very thin, very wide 'flying saucer' emerging from a large clump of clouds somewhere over the United States.

"What is that ? It's the craziest s**t I've ever seen in my life," a female voice can be heard saying. The video soon went viral, with the original TikTok video attracting 451,000 'likes' and a re-upload on Twitter receiving almost 4 million views at the time of writing.

Some social media users have suggested that the footage could be some form of marketing for director Jordan Peele's upcoming science-fiction horror movie 'Nope', however the man himself actually replied to the posting on Twitter, writing "That one's not mine."

In truth, the most likely explanation for the phenomenon is that it is a lenticular cloud - a type of cloud that appears as a vivid disc-shaped formation that can often be mistaken for a UFO.

That's digitally manipulated. It is supposed to be black hole, like in the movie Interstellar. If a black hole of that size was so close to Earth it would just suck it in and it would be the end of the world.

But does it look good? It certainly does. Where bright background light, near the middle, goes through the branches of the tree, that's very hard to do unless you are real pro. But he pulled it off.
