Pentagon's UFO office reveals it's investigating 'several HUNDRED' new reports of unidentified flying objects from service members in the last year - but is yet to find evidence of alien life

The Department of Defense has analyzed 'hundreds' of UFO reports from its service members since last year, some of objects flying in ways they don't yet understand, and some in space and underwater, officials revealed.

The head of the government's UFO office Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick and the Under Secretary of Defense Ronald Moultrie made the revelations in a Pentagon briefing to reporters on Friday.

'There are things that appear to demonstrate interesting flight dynamics that we are fully investigating and researching right now,' Kirkpatrick, head of the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office told DailyMail.com.

Moultrie revealed that they had received reports from intelligence and military officers and other agencies of unidentified objects not only in the air, but also underwater and even in space – and emphasized the DoD's cooperation with NASA in trying to identify UFOs.

'NASA has been a particularly invaluable partner,' he said.

'We've been working with the Department of Energy, the Federal Aviation Administration, NASA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and others to share information and tap resources.'

However, when asked by DailyMail.com about specific cases in space, he said it was classified.

'Our ability to resolve things in the space domain, and what we have in the space domain is something that are all under sensitive sources, methods and means.

'So we'd prefer not to respond to that question,' the undersecretary of defense for intelligence and security said.

The reports of unidentified phenomena keep flooding in to the UFO office.

The Office of the Director of National Intelligence released a report in June 2021 that documented 144 UFO incidents reported by government, military and intelligence officials.

That was followed with an admission in May 2022 at a public congressional hearing on UFOs that 400 reports had been received.

In the briefing on Friday, Kirkpatrick said that his office had analyzed 'several hundred' more since then, including some reports about incidents that predate 2021 but had only recently been filed.

UFOs have 'routinely' operated over restricted US airspace - but America has no idea what they are or where they come from as Pentagon refuses to rule out three objects shot down over the weekend are 'aliens'

US Senator Marco Rubio has claimed UFOs have been 'operating over restricted US airspace for years' amid a slew of sightings over America and Canada in recent days.

A US fighter jet shot down an 'unidentified object' over Lake Huron on Sunday on orders from President Joe Biden. It was the third such downing in three days - and fourth in eight including the Chinese spy balloon shot down on February 4.

Rubio tweeted: 'The last 72 hours revealed to the public what was happening for years, unidentified aircraft routinely operating over restricted US airspace.

'This is why I pushed to take this seriously and created a permanent UAP task force two years ago.'

And Christopher Mellon - former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence in the Clinton and George W. Bush administrations - admonished the air force for having only just noticed the unidentified craft.

'The USAF *really* has some explaining to do when it comes to UAP. People who are surprised at the presence of these objects haven't been paying attention.

'One of the reasons why I've been calling for changes to our sensor and reporting procedures for years.'

The comments came as the Pentagon refused to rule out the possibility that the UFOs shot out of the sky may not be of this world.

US Air Force General Glen VanHerck said intelligence services were exploring all avenues - including the notion the three most recent objects could be linked to extraterrestrials.

'I'll let the intel community and the counterintelligence community figure that out. I haven't ruled out anything,' VanHerck said. 'At this point we continue to assess every threat or potential threat, unknown, that approaches North America with an attempt to identify it.'

The object detected Sunday was described by defense officials as an unmanned 'octagonal structure' with 'potential surveillance capabilities' and strings attached to it.

They are certainly not behaving the way the object David Fravor encountered did.

Think about it, they're an awfully long way from anywhere. How ? What kind of range must they have, even for balloons ?
That small ? No doubt whatever debris they pick up will have considerable intelligence value.

The geek in me is wondering if an F22's internal gun could take an object down at that 60K feet. Air's awfully thin up there, I believe the F22 is the only jet anywhere that can perform tactical maneuvers at that height. At 40K feet it probably could. The armchair general in me is wondering if they could be brought down with less damage that way, although anything you light up with a 20mm cannon will be having a rough time of it.

Could UFOs over the US be the same as the infamous 'Tic Tac' caught on video? Expert says mysterious objects resemble white oblong spotted by the US Navy in 2004 - as the Pentagon refuses to rule out ALIENS

A third mysterious object was shot down using a missile from a F-16 fighter jet yesterday. The 'octagonal' object with 'potential surveillance capabilities' flew near a sensitive military site in Montana before being taken over the Great Lakes on Sunday. It follows a further two objects that were shot down over Alaska and Canada in the preceding days and a Chinese 'spy balloon' being eliminated the weekend before. While China claimed ownership of the spy balloon, the origin and purpose of the three subsequent unidentified flying objects are more mysterious, with the Pentagon refusing to rule out an extraterrestrial origin. The shape of two of the objects recalls the famous 'Tic Tac' UFO - a white oblong spotted by the US Navy in 2004. British UFO expert Nick Pope, formerly with the UK's Ministry of Defence, told MailOnline that he 'can't rule out a connection with the Tic Tac sighting' but cautioned that an overall explanation is 'still to be determined'.

I don't know. I doubt they have not 'identified' the things they have shot down. Broaching the UAP/UFO angle just seems like a way of muddying the water, reducing political pressure.

I have to wonder, is some entity getting ready for a preemptive strike? I sure hope the knuckleheads in the government and military are giving this some deep thought. Thus far everyone is being tight lipped.

Its possible the UFOs have been identified but obviously that identification hasn't been provided to the media nor the public yet...If it's just more balloons then why not just say they are balloons instead of all the secrecy...Is this the start of the fake alien invasion, Project Blue Beam?...A false flag operation?...

'I'd be very suspicious': Ex-NORAD commander says UFOs are a 'concerted effort' by America's enemies to 'test' outdated systems: Pentagon has still not recovered debris from three shot down at weekend

The Pentagon is yet to recover debris from the three UFOs shot down this weekend over Alaska, Canada and Michigan and is yet to offer any kind of explanation as to what they are, how they were able to fly, or whether they pose a genuine threat to America.

Since Friday, US fighter jets have struck down three objects flying above Alaska, Canada and Michigan.

On Monday morning, John Kirby, the communications coordinator of the National Security Council revealed the US is yet to recover the debris of the aircraft.

Former NORAD commander Scott Clancy told CNN he'd be 'very suspicious'.

'This is just conjecture, I think you're seeing the confluence of distinctive activity by our adversaries to test our systems,' he said.

He went on to explain how 'old' NORAD's systems are, and how the sheer number of UFOs showed that it was a 'coordinated effort'.

'It looks to be to be a concerted effort because you have any more than one. It looks like a coordinated effort.'

Earlier, John Kirby admitted the US hasn't yet recovered the debris.

Special UFO task force including FAA, Pentagon and Homeland Security experts is being set up after US shot down three in three days and officials STILL don't know what they are

The White House has announced it is putting together a new UFO task force to study the potential security risks posed by new airborne objects detected in US airspace.

The new group, created on orders from national security adviser Jake Sullivan, will see experts from the Pentagon, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Department of Homeland Security and other government agencies come together to analyze unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs) and determine whether they are a threat.

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby on Monday said: 'Every element of the government will redouble their efforts to understand and mitigate these events,' adding the task force would examine the 'broader policy implications' related to the detection and analysis of UFOs over mainland US.

The announcement came late on Monday, just one day after a US air force F-16 fighter jet shot down a UFO over the Great Lakes - the third unidentified object to be downed in as many days.

'I wouldn't really call it a balloon': Cockpit audio reveals F-16 pilots who shot down octagon shaped object over Lake Huron didn't know what it was

Chilling audio has revealed the moment F16 fighter jets locked in on a UFO as they prepared to shoot it down over Lake Huron - while the pilots struggle to define what exactly they are seeing. Despite a Pentagon memo describing the flying object as a 'small, metallic balloon', audio of conversation from inside the jets revealed that the pilots went back and forth over how to define the baffling UFO. 'I wouldn't really call it a balloon… I don't know what… I can see it outside with my eyes,' one of the pilots can be heard saying.

Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw gives insight into White House briefing to Congress on unidentified objects shot down

Most recent objects shot down over U.S. referred to as 'unidentified aerial phenomena'

Rep. Dan Crenshaw, R-Texas, broke down some of the specifics of what Congress was told on Tuesday regarding the unidentified objects the U.S. continues to shoot out of the sky.

Members of Congress were briefed on three unidentified flying objects that were shot down over North America, on Tuesday.

Following the briefing for Congress, Crenshaw turned to Twitter and provided what he could to the American people, while pushing for "transparency."

"Everyone wants answers on the objects flying over the United States. Today Members of Congress finally got more info from senior military officials," he said. "We still don’t know what these other 3 objects were. We’re calling them unidentified aerial phenomena (UAPs.)"

Crenshaw, a former Navy SEAL and combat veteran who served multiple overseas tours, said the U.S. knew what the Chinese spy balloon was and that steps were taken to prevent that data from going back to China.

As for the UAPs, he explained, they were in FAA commercial zones and were not outfitted with signals or navigational lights.

"The first two UAPs were smaller, the size of an ATV, and harder to detect," Crenshaw tweeted. "The third resembled a balloon, and was easier for the radar to pick up. All moved with wind currents."

As for why these objects are being found now, the congressional member said there has been more surveillance, which results in more objects being tracked. After the objects moved over Department of Defense facilities and posed a threat to commercial aircraft, they were shot down.

Crenshaw said the Chinese balloon was above 60,000 feet and posed no threat to commercial aircraft.

"Newer technology has allowed for more detection in recent years," he said. "UAPs weren’t detected before because our radars were not adjusted for slow-moving objects.

"There’s obviously still a lot we don’t know," Crenshaw added. "I’m going to continue pushing for transparency so Americans know what’s going on in the skies above their country."

Seems with that latest one over Lake Huron they shot it down with a missile with an inert warhead and just poked a hole through it. Missed the first shot but with a real warhead it 'close enough' probably generally is.

Reporters cackle like chickens at time. I have been surfing all channels for any briefings on this. Last night they were on a real tear about how the first one missed and that there is a live warhead laying about. Nope. Took the legs right out from under that nonsense. Everybody's an armchair general.

I’ve been wondering if this whole balloon episode might be some sort of false flag affair. Perhaps to cover up the Nord Stream pipeline blowup. Seymour Hersh wrote that the US and Norway blew up the pipeline between Germany and Russia. I wouldn’t doubt anything coming from our government.
