So far its entertaining, a comedy horror of sorts with some gore and dismemberment scenes, the bear eating someone or just tearing them apart...I watched a little over half tonight, will finish it tomorrow evening...

Here's a trailer:

Inspired by a true story.
The film is loosely inspired by the events surrounding a 175-pound (79 kg) American black bear that died after ingesting a duffel bag full of cocaine in December 1985. The cocaine had been dropped out of an airplane piloted by Andrew C. Thornton II, a former narcotics officer and convicted drug smuggler, because his plane was carrying too heavy a load. Thornton then jumped out of the plane with a faulty parachute and died. (Wiki)

Alas, the real life cocaine bear didn't have the fun of its movie counterpart.

Last night I watched Freddie vs Jason (2003), and rather enjoyed most of it...I think I've seen parts of the movie before, some scenes seemed familiar...I've not seen all of the Nightmare on Elm Street movies, same goes for Friday the 13th movie series...Which of the Friday the 13th movies are the best one?...

The Platform (2019), a sci-fi horror movie but not what I expected, the lower levels are where the horror begins and it doesn't hold back in that, oh my...:ohmy8:

The Trip (2021) is a crazy Norwegian comedy horror movie I just saw on Netflix...The comedy part was pretty much in the beginning, after that it went south to horror and then it went crazy comedy horror...Never saw a movie like this lol...Netflix has it with good English language dubbed, I didn't need to read subtitles...

It was light hearted and at times very funny. It had that guy from the from the Avengers franchise, the one who eventually becomes Captain America and it also had the guy from the movie, Violent Night, who played the part of Santa. The whole family could watch this and enjoy. I'd give it 6.5/10

Sick 2022 I thought was just another slasher movie sort of like Scream but this film had a Covid spin to the story that made it psychotic(ly) twisted...6/10

On a scale of 1 to 10 I give this a -5. Ooooooofta is this bad. Consider this a warning because the title's appealing. We didn't get too far into it before my wife snatched the remote. And yes - that IS Potsie. Of course, in 2023 he'd have that nickname for different reasons

How Sylvester Stallone's 1993 movie Demolition Man predicted the future: Fans are convinced the film eerily foreshadowed the 2020s

Sylvester Stallone's 90s movie Demolition Man featured a star-studded cast and was a huge hit with viewers at the time.

And the 1993 sci-fi film has taken on a new lease of life in recent years as eager fans re-watching the epic are convinced it predicted the future.

Viewers have noticed a whole host of eerie similarities between the futuristic pacifist utopia San Angeles - formerly Los Angeles - and the 2020s.

The action movie sees John Spartan (Sylvester) and crime lord Simon Phoenix (Wesley Snipes) sentenced to frozen incarceration known as 'CryoPrison' in 1996.

But 36 years later in 2032, Phoenix is revived on parole and goes on a killing spree, with Spartan then teaming up with police officer Lenina (Sandra Bullock) to catch him.

Eagle-eyed fans noticed a disease spreading in San Angeles bears more than one similarity to the Covid-19 pandemic, while its tech advancements were also very accurate.

From a lack of toilet paper to the use of video calls and no hand shaking, MailOnline looks at all the reasons fans think Demolition Man predicted the future.

The Invitation (2022) was okay, I didn't realize this was a vampire movie when we first starting watching...There were some scenes that are creepy as hell, but once it's revealed to the protagonist that vampires were behind it all, the suspenseful thriller aspect of the film vanished...Pretty good story and the gothic look was well done...

Evil Dead Rise (2023) Oh my, this is by far the most horrifying scary movie I've seen...This is a reboot of the Bruce Campbell Evil Dead movie series, without Bruce Campbell and without the comedy aspects of his movies...This movie is scary and creepy and gory as hell...7/10

I just finished watching two Alien prequel movies, “Prometheus” and “Alien Covenant.” These movies take place a few years before the original Alien movie. Covenant is closer to the original movie as far as scare factor goes. I would rate both movies around a “B.” If you are a fan of the Alien series they are worth a watch.IMG_0720.jpegIMG_0721.jpegIMG_0720.jpeg
