Solar Eclipse

I was planning to travel to South Carolina to be in the path and see it fully but with all the conjestion and crowds I'm just fine with staying home and viewing it which I'm just two hours from the South Carolina border anyway lol...

At home I'll be able to view about 80% or so which is fine with me...

I'm happy with the approximately 70% we'll have up my way......and the weather will be clear.

Yes we are forecast to have clear skies for viewing...I'm sure many people have spent money on hotels and travel already and some will have bad weather essential,y wasting that money...

I the last total solar eclipse I saw pictures & video of didn't completely cover the sun. Either the distance between the moon & sun has changed or the sun is larger.

The distance between the sun and earth will make the moon eventually look smaller and solar eclipses will eventually be a thing of the past.

Enjoy the Eclipse those who get a chance to see it...

We've had our fair share of eclipses over the decades, some rather spectacular ones, but this time Australia will be completely ripped off and won’t see a thing...

Well, that's not quite true, we will see the sun if it isn't cloudy...

I was going to take the day off work for this but I'm here at work, we are going to walk outside when it happens though...

I must say though, this Time zone difference does do my head in a bit sometimes...

Technically speaking, it's all long over for me.... Daylight has long gone, the sun has set hours ago it's almost 11pm Monday, 21st August with another hour and I'm into Tuesday 22nd...

Here's to hoping this isn't the beginning of The End of Days like the internet seems to believe it is. Here's to hoping nobody loses their fucking minds. Here's to hoping demons don't start to roam the Earth, free to do as they so please. Here's to hoping I don't have to drop everything and swim across an ocean to save you or die trying.

My love is with you all, my american brothers and sisters. Keep your heads screwed on and enjoy the light show.
