An honest question, CB.
1. Here in Australia, we get Liberals and Labor pointing the bone, jumping up and down, I guess much like your politics in the US.
No, not like in the US. Abbott seemed to be a reasonable leader. The rest of the politicians seem to be varying grades of scum.
In the US we have godless communists (Democrats), godless communists lite (Republicans), and Trump. Trump has his failings but at least he is standing up to the enemy.
2. But to be perfectly honest, Other than a very very few laws. I personally see almost no difference in my lifestyle, or my quality of life, regardless of who is in power.
Fish in pan with heat slowly turned on. You won't know you are boiled until after it happens.
3. Do you really see a difference in the US. I mean, I know Trump is Pro guns, but even if Clinton was absolutely anti Guns, it would never pass your ...I dunno what you call it over there. But it would never make it would it.
So, do you honestly see a difference in your quality of life?
Yes. Obama sent out Christmas cards that didn't have Christmas on them. Trump trolled him on that this year.
The government, academia, psychology, news, and the law have been cleansed of conservatives in the US. In the all but the news that is in defiance of ethics guidelines. And the news staffs don't have any ethics so that isn't a surprise either.
The fact that the left discriminates against conservatives in defiance of guidelines that were originally used to let them in, means nothing that they have to say has any value since it can't withstand close scrutiny.
Yes, I do see a difference. And it isn't for the better.
