I took a nice hike around McMurdo Station last month.

I friend of mine. Hes been there. He was working on the Swedish Oden icebreaker.. Taking some scientists down there,.

Like you I took a look online a few months ago.. Went up that nearby hill overlooking the base.

Are they driving mazdas in Peru ?... Japanese cars last long time and don't break down easily (of quality defects )
.. It used to be so anyways.

Not sure about Peru but I owned a Mazda once, a RX7 with a rotary engine, it was extremely reliable and had great power...A well designed engine I'd say...

Part of the "hike" was over the ridge from the base too......nothing but rock, ice and water if I remember correctly.

I had one too, it was a 1986 mazda RX7 Turbo 2. Once i was cruising in 3 gear about 30 mph and downshifted to 2nd revving it up and did a doughnut by accident , shutting it down and went along the same way i was going in the first place. One thing i luved about it was the side air coefficient, meaning i could have a 45 mph side wind and it wouldnt bother it going straight at all, it wouldnt blow me around on the highway doing 80mph next to the truckers.
