Ghosts

There is a deserted sports oval in town here, people often saw a ghost walking the oval for years then they excavated the oval to flatten it out and now the ghost is seen floating 4ft in the air above the oval . So that does that mean ghosts do not change their haunting in relation to their surroundings. Roman soldier ghosts have been observed in the UK walking along a road buried up to their knees , no doubt the old height of the road from back then ?

Hope not. If that is a kid he's a little homey. I'd have him hide too!

I'm looking for visual cues as to his actual height. My opinion is that his shoulders are too wide for him to be that short.

That his hat is opaque makes me doubt the ghost theory.

But I can't conclusively refute the kid theory.

His dad is wearing a 10 gallon and the kid is wearing a fedora???

How many kids wear fedoras???

That's almost as bad as wearing a fez.

On closer inspection the rim is a little wide for a fedora.

I guess I'm starting to warm up to the kid theory.

As a side note: fedoras in the UK can be had pretty cheaply.

Has anyone considered its a real ghost dressed as such from back then and that the ghost is not in a hole but actually standing on a ground level that would have been lower back then in its day. Fedora hats by the way first appeared in 1882. Though the person in this photo to me looks like he is dressed like a hoodlum from the 1920s.
