Reincarnation

One can not learn all one needs to in a single life alone...nor in a 100.

Not all who come into this world slip into the cycles of reincarnation or reoccurance...

No one escapes it.
Some stay in the spirit world for a great length of time before returning here or to some other world. Others come back in a short time.
The amount of lives it takes to learn needed lessons depends on the individual.
The spiritually and mentally advanced, move up the ladder with fewer lives needed to do so.
But regardless some will find sticking points and must work through them.

I started off making a reply here and then I thought of Dundee and decided nah... no way....

I remembered a time years ago when there was a discussion about life after death and rebirth and I posted my somewhat nihilistic type reply as being one possible alternative and Dundee was dismayed and I think I depressed him... real bad... and I thought... nah...

So in conclusion, I have no idea if reincarnation is true or not or has any merit.... I was never subjected to, as in not bought up in any of the mainstream religious beliefs other than with my parent's Ancestral Spirit ways which does not involve reincarnation, rebirth as a carnate body... (decades ago my family immigrated to Australia with the status as war affected refugees, displaced persons, from northern eurasia and their spiritual beliefs stem from there)....

morning. thank you for your thoughts.

always found, and still find, this idea, and the belief of it intriguing. even more so after i read a book written by the russian mathematician Pyotr Uspensky entitled 'the strange life of ivan osokin'. not quite reincarnation per se but rather having the opportunity to live your life over again. oddly enough, so this story goes, even though ivan osokin knows what events will reoccur, all over again, he can't change a thing.

this got me thinking. we've all experienced 'deja vu' or otherwise had experiences with 'how is it possible i know this or that'. so it seems to me that even if reincarnation is indeed the road to develop ones soul and refine ones vibrating spirit 'coming back again' doesn't guarantee this happening. life could simply repeat itself 'just like before'. of course with little snippets of 'haphazard rememberings'.

was thinking the other day. if i indeed was reborn into another form, in order to carry-on with the above aforementioned refinements and with the same consciousness i have today, and i came back as say a cat, it would be terrible. like oh no! eh.

me as i am in the body of a cat. oh what to learn this time around. actually, the shock of it may be just the impetus needed.

anyway. reincarnation as a concept, whether true or false, is interesting indeed. and really, how many chances (times around) do we get to get it. perhaps in fact only one time.

sorry nivek. should keep in the spirit of this whole site theme, that being 'alien expanse'. how many times have aliens reincarnated to become who they are. perhaps they are us once we've become accomplished enough to leave the confines of 'life on earth' and they come back to remind us of this.

Naa all good Merle, post away, my only dilemma back then was how you could have had the experience you had, and not been an utter convert after it. I would GLADLY render my brass monkey incomplete to experience what you did and live to tell :)
So post away my friend, I now have resilience, "( AM INVINCIBLE!!!!" :) )

I've made 70 odd posts here in this forum and rare these days I ever talk about or mention aliens and chances of me doing so are rather remote as things stand at the moment.... in fact, I got rather aliened out years ago....

That's right, it was a Life after Death thread and I posted about my lucid and profound out of body experience I had... I haven't given much thought to it for years but now that I have, I can still see and feel it all as if it was only a few moments ago it happened... I will, I will get around to it...

The meaning of aliens here doesn't necessarily mean those buggers from other worlds but alien as in concepts, ideas, even cultures and lifestyles may be alien to another right here on earth lol...

The Right to be Cloned

OK, let me just clear this up right now.
I know my past life. Reincarnation is real. The soul is consciousness. It is not material. The body is material and exists/is created for experimentation/experience/feelings.

The purpose of life is dependent upon how much you've learned and understand, which enables you to pick your life, if you're aware enough to do that when your soul/consciousness departs the body.

The powers that be know this. Just wake up to the fact that you're living in a giant criminal empire with psychopaths running the joint and then maybe you will start to see through their lies.

According to your beliefs in that you state that reincarnation is fact, then I would think that one good thing about this day and age is that at least you'll have plenty of choices on which body to occupy for your next reincarnation...

Supposedly, with the world population increasing at a rate like never seen before it seems as if there are possibly more vacant bodies ready to be born than there are souls out there looking to pick one for their next reincarnation...

Wonder what it must feel like to be a body which no soul wants to take over?

My thoughts on reincarnation are this, The consciousness must be an electrical process. The brain functions off of 15 watts of bioelectricity. Well, The physical law of energy conservation says. Energy can not be created freely or destroyed completely, only transformed from one state of energy to another. An example of this is the Nuclear reaction with physical mass. As physical mass transforms into energy. This is how nuclear reactors produce so much power. They convert physical matter into energy. Anyway. My point is. IF our consciousness is, in fact, an energy. And it seems like it is. Then your consciousness can not be destroyed completely just because the physical body ceased to function. The consciousness must be converted to another form. Perhaps an afterlife. perhaps reincarnation. I don't know, I just make this stuff up as I go along honestly.

No one comes back as a lower form of life. That would be contradictory to the very purpose of reincarnation. One could momentarily possess the body of a lower life form.

interesting thoughts/opinions. again thank you.

indeed the energy produced by ones consciousness at such a low level, that even the flapping of a gnats wings could dissipate, at the moment of ones death, seems to me to be a life wasted and not of much value to the universe, and beyond. it would be cool if the conscious energy, at ones moment of death, was so developed as to explode with such force that the many suns and moons all throughout the universe would jump for joy in being amply 'fed'. oy vey.

lower life form eh. hmmm. maybe wrongly so but methinks all creation has a spirit and consciousness. i know man deems itself as the highest life form and thus attributes all manner of wonders to itself alone. still, i can't but think the vast majority of mankind has as much consciousness or spirit as a squirrel, which, contrary to most mankind, in itself is true to itself. truly 'i am', without words but in deeds.

may the lights go out, as a welcome and 'well done', when we come to the end of our earthly wanderings. how then to get there. is belief enough? physical mental emotional super efforts enough? ten lives forward and only one lazy indecisive moment to render it all null and void. back to square one again. perhaps, perhaps not. in essence, 'time's up'.?

fun stuff for sure. not sure but i think i'll reincarnate as a teabag :D
