At Peace.
I get that this thread seems to be for fun,
but here is what I know on the idea of tinfoil hats
the entire thing started by air force people flying planes,
they thought that the aliens were controlling them.
sadly they did not get that a metal foil covering the head is not a good faraday cage, and often amplifies signals getting to your brain...
what is used is the same as biology uses, and due to how it is made, a conductor will not stop it at all
for more reading caduceus3
you have to absorb the signal to get rid of it,
so you want something sort of conductive, and you want it thick.
like wearing a giant resistor on your head.
Stop Alien Abductions
not entirely sure that the guy that wrote that website gets why what he made works.
and of all the personal websites I have watched over the years, it has been there longer than any other.

edit:
been years from when I read his website, but went to look just now,
seems as if he does get why it works now.
Wow... this right here, is why I started this thread... but I admit, I don't mind having the fun as well! YEAH!

when embedding content,
it would be very handy if you gave a link to the content as well.
reason is that my computer is very old and slow, (I understand that the intentionally poor movement is confusing to many people)
so if I allow such things to run on my computer, most websites would never load.
and it is kind of a pain to go through the page source code and figure out what you were trying to show people
so, please give me a link. it just makes this way easier

Never heard of the intentionally poor movement... can you tell us more about it? Does it require tin foil hats or the insulated kind?
How do you maintain poverty? That sounds like a real challenge... almost everone gets assimilated by capitalists eventually. They even say resistance might be futile...

I don't approve of what is being done with tax money,
so I don't pay taxes.
I do this by not making money
money is how others direct our attention.
just like quantum physics,
it is a horrible distraction.
and it is not easy to avoid

Very interesting... how do you survive in today's world without miney?

I actually grow as much of my own food as possible,
I do make some money, about 1200$ a year.
and it was quite a bit of time and money to set up in the first place.
I am about 5 years in to not having money, and it is getting a bit old.
not going to starve here, and an apocalypse is not going to mess with me much
but would be nice to have a bit more money.
at some point I am going to try selling garden seeds to make enough to fix my car to a more drivable state, heat my home in the winter, and things like that

I do trade with others for things, but not quite a barter type of thing.
like I offer fresh vegetables in the summer in trade for my 15 $ a month electric bill, but only when I can't afford it otherwise.
