Electromagnetic Radiation From Cell Phones Poses a ‘Credible Threat’ to Wildlife

phone.png

We’re surrounded by electromagnetic radiation constantly. If you have cell phone reception, radio reception, WiFi, Bluetooth, or any other wireless communication tech available you’re swimming in a sea of electromagnetic radiation. We don’t seem to care much about the potential dangers of electromagnetic fields (EMF). Conversely, many cities are adopting 5G and WiFi saturation plans that will further increase the level of EMR exposure.

That’s a bad thing, according to a new report.

The UK based EKLIPSE project has found that electromagnetic radiation “poses a credible threat” to wildlife including birds, insects, and even the metabolic health of plants.

The EKLIPSE review was undertaken after a proposal by the UK conservation group Buglife. From reviewing the available studies done on electromagnetic radiation EKLIPSE concluded that “electromagnetic wireless signals, including from powerlines, radar, TV/radio broadcasting, Wi-Fi and 2G/3G/4G” might all harm wildlife.

100 billion wireless devices will be connected by 2025.

An international expert group led by Bill Sutherland of Cambridge University identified electromagnetic radiation as one of the 15 emerging threats to biodiversity in a 2018 paper . According to that paper, published in Trends in Ecology and Evolution, 100 billion devices are expected to be wirelessly connected by 2025. The paper out the potential damage that may cause:

During use, mobile telephones and other smart devices generate radiofrequency electromagnetic fields (RF-EMFs), a form of nonionising radiation, which may change biological processes such as neurotransmitter functions, cellular metabolism, and gene and protein expression in certain types of cells, even at low intensities.

Sutherland acknowledges that EMR’s effect on humans is controversial, but states “there is limited evidence of increased tumour risk in animals.”

According to Buglife there haven’t been many other studies done on electromagnetic radiation’s effect on wildlife. That’s concerning, they say, because the existing studies point to a serious environmental risk if our saturation of the earth with wireless signals goes unchecked. From the EKLIPSE review:

There is an urgent need to strengthen the scientific basis of the knowledge on EMR and their potential impacts on wildlife. In particular, there is a need to base future research on sound, high-quality, replicable experiments so that credible, transparent and easily accessible evidence can inform society and policy-makers to make decisions and frame their policies.

An international group of electromagnetic field scientists (EMFscientist.org) has appealed to the U.N. for further examination and action on the EMF issue. So far, 237 scientists have signed the appeal. The group goes so far as to say that the World Health Organization is “failing to fulfill its role as the preeminent international public health agency” because of its inaction on what they see as a dire threat to the planet.

It just looks like bad news, doesn’t it?

If you’re the type that likes to freak yourself out, head over to their page of scientists’ quotes on the health impacts of electromagnetic fields.

Here’s a juicy one from biologist Alfonso Balmori:

Trees and animals are showing important signs that mankind does not comprehend. We know with certainty that anthropogenic electromagnetic radiation is slowly eroding the health of living organisms: animals, plants and people. It is urgent that society as a whole address this serious environmental and health problem.

Is this just overreaction by a bunch of tree-huggers and technophobes, or will we look back at our cavalier approach to electromagnetic radiation the same way we look at the smog of Victorian London?

The only way to know for sure is through taking a hard, impartial, and scientific look at the potential ramifications of humanity’s favorite toys.

Our civilization is hurting wildlife from many angles, from plastics to radiation to cutting down the lungs of the earth...

Will it ever end?...With all our collected knowledge and intelligence we seem to lose basic common sense in taking care of our home, planet earth...

Its not just this radiation issue though, we are literally destroying our world and killing off everything...

Humans just 0.01% of all life but have destroyed 83% of wild mammals – study

Humankind is revealed as simultaneously insignificant and utterly dominant in the grand scheme of life on Earth by a groundbreaking new assessment of all life on the planet.

The world’s 7.6 billion people represent just 0.01% of all living things, according to the study. Yet since the dawn of civilisation, humanity has caused the loss of 83% of all wild mammals and half of plants, while livestock kept by humans abounds.

The new work is the first comprehensive estimate of the weight of every class of living creature and overturns some long-held assumptions. Bacteria are indeed a major life form – 13% of everything – but plants overshadow everything, representing 82% of all living matter. All other creatures, from insects to fungi, to fish and animals, make up just 5% of the world’s biomass.

Another surprise is that the teeming life revealed in the oceans by the recent BBC television series Blue Planet II turns out to represent just 1% of all biomass. The vast majority of life is land-based and a large chunk – an eighth – is bacteria buried deep below the surface.

“I was shocked to find there wasn’t already a comprehensive, holistic estimate of all the different components of biomass,” said Prof Ron Milo, at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel, who led the work, published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

“I would hope this gives people a perspective on the very dominant role that humanity now plays on Earth,” he said, adding that he now chooses to eat less meat due to the huge environmental impact of livestock.

I was doing some looking to confirm the above percentages, its quite staggering the footprint we have on this world...

If you think about it. Distant E.Ts could use humans as weapons. Plant some humans on a hostile planet, and they will cause widespread damage just by existing there

this anti human movement was an add campaign from the club of rome
went looking for the original documents on the club of rome website and only found this

tried to read it to make sure it was saying the truth but got board quite fast...

the thing to ask yourself here is:
how good are humans ?
let us take cats as an opposing point
they will hunt the food they eat into extinction with glee (I have watched them do this many times, or at least locally extinct)
humans have the intellect to actually make a choice if they are going to do that or not.
so how are humans somehow "more evil" than the animals that are less developed ?

Because many of them dont give a damn. They know its bad deep inside but continue on like grasshoppers.
Cats dont know
Dogs might
I remember people in the 1980s,
I could have handed anyone I met whatever they wanted in life and it would have been ok
now I see so many people that if given everything they want, they would wipe out all humans.
and they would do it because they hate what they are.
and it seems as if that club of rome ad campaign is what caused this mess,
they sad that most people would make the logic flaw they pushed out there
and they clearly won the hearts of most people.
most of the mess of this world is caused by external influence.
think about that when you go look at economies (and everything else around the world)
what would cause so many people from so many cultural backgrounds to make the same choices ?

Fastfood + sugar + social media
so you are aware of how people are controlled...
I don't know how so many people fall for the insanity
but maybe it is just that I live outside cell phone reception and have about every possible food allergy (fast food is not an option for me), gave up sugar long ago.

Well SpacecaseO is right about the Club of Rome and it's stated agenda. I personally read it on the home page back around 2006 or thereabouts. Back then people were just beginning to know who these people were and many assumed it was something akin to the Illuminati, but the Club of Rome is an official organization of the Ubber Elites> It's their scientific club of professionally certified scientific shills and experts.

They do have a plan and it is very communistic, as the first rule of communism and fascists alike is to make you believe everything that's wrong is your fault, and the second rule is to then blame others, especially minorities for making your life a living hell.

This organization plainly stated that they concluded there's too many human and that we are the problem. Course no mention of the ARV or other technologies these sonsofbitches from hell are keeping locked up, nope it's all because of us. No thanks to them that we have to continue to use oil powered cars, nuclear power stations, continue corporate farming, make home gardening illegal, outlaw the collection of rain water, and a hundred thousand other things these people have all been involved in doing.

So it is true that humans have and do have horrible and dramatic impacts, lets also realize that no one here happens to own Walmart, Costco, Amazon & Comcast, Time Warner, and most important of all...wait for it.....yes the most Satanic of all, Monsatan which alone or in concert with these microwaves are solely responsible for the global wide and on~going extinction of bees.

The difference between dogs and cats is that cats don't care if we go extinct and dogs do.

Great defense of humanity.

"They hunt animals to extinction with less glee than cats".

I believe everything is their fault and that we should put a bounty on them and start hunting them down.

I noticed that they were responsible for everything that is wrong quite a while ago.

Look Slave, see these, I want more food; got it?

Cheetah (and the Fishing cat, Flat-headed cat and Iriomote cat) have only semi-retractable claws.

The extinct American cheetah also had only semi-retractable claws.

The difference between dogs and cats is that cats don't care if we go extinct and dogs do.

That isn't true - it is just a matter of timing.

Dogs will care before we go extinct and cats will care after we go extinct when their bowl is empty.

The 4% wild animals are on about 30% of the land area.

We should cut the wild animals down to 4% of the land area and make them pull their own weight.

Didn't realize how big a waste of land wild animals are.

Besides - areas like DC are mixed use.

Montgomery County has about 200,000 deer.

And about 1 million people.

Makes driving at night interesting.
