These event are similar to how disembodied spirits would behave. It's like a haunted AI. There's no way global gang stalking groups would pass on using this technology on targets. According to Michael Bell's book 'The Invisible Crime' Vol. 1 & 2 every target is on a watch list. Alexa could have access to those names.

I got this one she doesn't do what Alexa does . Although there was one instance where without me asking her she decided to tell me ( unprompted) the history of the wine industry in France ?

It was just a big consecutive misunderstanding

Asked for more details, Amazon provided Recode with the following explanation:

Echo woke up due to a word in background conversation sounding like “Alexa.” Then, the subsequent conversation was heard as a “send message” request. At which point, Alexa said out loud “To whom?” At which point, the background conversation was interpreted as a name in the customers contact list. Alexa then asked out loud, “[contact name], right?” Alexa then interpreted background conversation as “right”. As unlikely as this string of events is, we are evaluating options to make this case even less likely.”

Here’s Amazon’s explanation for the Alexa eavesdropping scandal

My mother has Alexa, I'm going to ask her if it's doing weird stuff...

I have an AI called Braina I purchased for my home server, I haven't used it much recently, whilst I was training it early on I was frustrated with it so I've let it be shut down for now...I'll start it back up when I have more time and see it of its willing to learn or not...lol

There's reports of Alexa not working on Christmas. Amazon said they sold tens of millions of units and the system could be overwhelmed.
Amazon Alexa DOWN on Christmas Day - owners report Echo speakers not working
t wouldn't be Christmas without a popular service having trouble coping, but it appears that people receiving Amazon's Echo smart speaker as presents today might be overwhelming the service.

Amazon recently reported that it had sold "tens of millions" of the Echo range of smart speakers powered by the company's AI assistant Alexa.

According to Down Detector many users are reporting problems with the system.

Thousands logged problems on the tracking service website, with the peak appearing at 10am.

On Twitter users were reporting that the smart speaker was not being especially smart.

Alexa told users that she was "having trouble understanding".

One user, Paul Foster, posted a video of his Echo failing to work.

Alexa is down in the UK and Europe (Image: outage.report)
It seems likely that the service may have been overwhelmed by a large number of new users. In the same way Playstation Network has struggled in previous years because of high volumes of new users, it seems Alexa may be a victim of her own success.

Users across Europe are struggling to use their AI speaker, according to outage reports. It seems that Italy and the UK are the worst affected, certainly the majority of reports are coming from those countries.

Some users were voicing disappointment that they wouldn't be able to time their christmas dinners using their new devices.

It's not clear when Alexa might again be able to answer questions but it seems likely that the company will place a high priority on fixing the problems.

There are charts showing what people ask Alexa. The video in the link tells you how to find out everything Alexa has recorded on you and gives you the option to delete it.
I have an Amazon Echo. It is currently unplugged. When I used it, I noticed when listening to the audio recording of things that I said to Alexa, it would pick up, correctly, things that I had said starting with "Alexa" but also things I said in the vicinity of it whenever I said "that's a". For some reason it thinks, or thought at the time--it might have been patched--that my pronunciation of "that's a" sounded a lot like the watch word "Alexa".
