North Korea

Fratty and out of touch.
The summit may not accomplish anything but at least it's a step in the right direction.

I don't understand all the negativity in the US media. There are people who are so obsessed with hating Trump they would rather see a war break out.

The hate really needs to chill, Trump is president, people need to get on with their lives and do their jobs without the hate and quibbling...

100% agreed. Like I said if he pulls this off it will be amazing.

"Fun true fact: North Korea previously pledged denuclearization in 1985, 1992, 1994, 2002, 2003, 2005, 2006, 2008, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2016. Each pledge was a lie. True, I don't trust Kim but to make peace instead of war is better, it's worth a try.. Hopefully Kim will listen this time..

'We will solve a big problem': Confident Trump and Kim Jong-un shake hands and greet each other warmly as President says 'it's my honor' to meet North Korean dictator for unprecedented talks

those images are simply surreal, seeing trump walking with his arch-enemy, both happy is a image that will probally become historical

Honestly, in general I feel that Trump is a living parody of manhood: his demeanor and carriage are the antithesis of everything that I value and respect in a man.

But he's clearly vastly less of a war hawk than Hillary Clinton, who never met a war she didn't like. So it's moments like this that make me downright grateful that she didn't win. On domestic policy, he's a living freakin' nightmare. But less people will die under Trump than Clinton, and that's the most important thing, imo. If she'd won, she would've implemented a no-fly zone in Syria (which would've steered us toward WWIII with Russia), and we'd be looking at military escalation with N. Korea, instead of seeing the most promising step toward peace with them that we've ever witnessed.
could'nt agree with you more, both candidates had terrifying ideas, its good to see (for now) that trump din't do any of his more radical plans

Hillary Clinton and Obama the first of the Dems to have gotten on the neo-conservative war path, already executed like clockwork by Reps from day 1.

We finally nearly had two independents to choose from in the main ticket, had Sanders got in. Trump is a thorn in the globalists agenda, but he's one of the least impressive outsiders given his business resume and character.

The way it stands the real self-made competent American citizens, often immigrants who don't inherit their wealth - the Constitution doesn't allow to run - we are left with the likes of Trump. He's not Hillary Clinton; he's got his own agenda - himself/self-preservation like any dictator left standing.

According to Putin, Kim is smart for developing and keeping nuclear capability - which is the only deterrent the dictators have from the execution by the deep state and becoming the next Saddam and Ghadafi, as we are deep in the "nations of concern" stage.

"not even once in my life have I ever had faith in anything as much as the Deplorables have faith that an ignorant, undisciplined, easily-goaded Russian-mob-money-laundering failed game show host and con artist with fucked-up hair who bankrupted five casinos will give them a pony" - -Jeff Tiedrich @jefftiedrich

"The Russian press is calling the Singapore summit a "PR success" & "victory" for Kim Jong-un. One paper warns that Trump's "exaggerated self-belief in his powers of negotiation" puts the US president "at risk of manipulation by his negotiating partners." - Steve Rosenberg

I wonder why Kim don't want to speak in english, i think he know english, he just don't want to talk.

I just have a sense about this image and partly because of what you've said; it almost looks like a charade of sorts, like the issue isn't and probably never has been what we have all been lead to believe it is about.

It's like he's not talking because he's just a puppet, some stooge fronting as the ruler, and it's really the job of these others to negotiate the settlement and as to what that settlement is really about probably has little to do with what we are being told.

North Korea as a nuclear power, and as a place of cold and forbidding/forbidden land, well North Korea is some kind of playground and chip. It's completely off limits to western eyes. Anything could go on in North Korea and we wouldn't have any idea right? So that's the whole point and purpose for it's existence don't ya see? It's not an accident it still exists.

If North Korea has nuclear weapons then it has them to prevent a door buster operation. In other words, there's secrets in there that powerful people don't want let out: We have these glimpses of the forbidden hotel and few other tidbits of insight.

Trump was obviously opposed and still is by another power elite cult, and it appears to me this was the pedophile child abduction rapists/murders cult, at least one part of it was, and so I have to wonder about all this happening now. I just can't see this in the light it's being framed. I'm seeing some sort of negotiations but as to what isn't clear.

My point of view is that the political/military system changed with the election of Trump. Catherine Austin Fitt's said long before Donald was elected that he had to have support from both the intelligence branches and from the military, otherwise he couldn't have gotten where he was in being nominated, so he has support. You have to have support from money, the military, and at least some of the intelligence services to rise to this level.

So maybe this is like if you give up the Nukes and do X, Y, & Z we won't tell on you? Maybe an analogy would be if you give up the flying saucer technology we will agree to fake your death and hide you until you die, otherwise just shoot yourselves, so maybe a deal along those lines ~ if you follow my meaning?

So it is about NK Nukes, but it's really about a lot more than those I think.

To be honest we Asians don't like North Korea, we are just tolerating that guy. Some Asian countries do business with them not because we like Kim, we are doing it to support the NK citizens from poverty. Trump is right about Kim, he don't care about his people, he would let them starve to death just to build more nukes and missiles. I like what Trump did, meeting Kim in Singapore. Kim usually won't listen, i hope this time he will and complete the denuclearization.

The topic of North Korea is all about a Totalitarian Nation State and how it relates to our own nation and the potential to end a cold war. Remember,North Korea was never defeated, it only agreed to a truce; as in a cease fire. I wonder how many kids in their teens and twenties realize that? In other words, there remains a standing state of official hostiles across the DMZ. War with North Korea means war with China and don't forget it young people because those North Koreans are not some slump outfit as any Korean War Vet will tell you.

Politics is what describes the supposed differences in our relationship with the North Korean Leaders and what we are all missing is how our own political system is changing. That was why I suggested some may want to read what G. A. Stewart had to say.

The Korean Leadership is talking to the US and so the question is why? If you think it's because they are afraid of the US then you have another thing coming.

Lyndon Johnson put the entire Airforce of the Pacific in the air and flew a stream of bombers and fighter all along the DMZ one time when he got pissed off at them, and so that's the kind of show of force that they are expecting to greet in combat. They are not afraid of the United States or it's Allies combined: Get that through your head right now if nothing else.

So now we need to ask ourselves what's changed? Why are they now meeting with the President? Isn't that what we need to be asking ourselves?

The way to discuss politics is by not discussing politicians but to discuss what our government needs to do to work for us. Liberty does not come by weding yourself to a political party. It didn't work for the Communists, didn't work for the Facists, and isn't working for the Capitalists either though about 80% of them don't yet realize it.

America isn't about Capitalism, it's about liberty and individual liberty, and this topic on North Korea is all about a supposed totalitarian system which we all oppose because it opposes those values contained in our Bills of Rights.

Our most sacred civil rights is the right to speak freely as contained in the 1st bill of rights. So while the President works to create a more stable and safe world, there is also another clan which is working to use what they have purposely been doing and to the use their foul plot to exploit as another tool to destroy our nation by destroying our Bills of Rights.

Again, I maintain that North Korea is a secret hangout and playground for the would be rulers of the new world order.
Unless I and G.A. Stewart and a few others can get people to understand how this plan is being implemented than this very site and many of it's topics may become forbidden.

If Stewart is right, then we can expect to see some kind of formal legislation being put before Congress that would restrict who can provide news. This is what we should be looking for.

What North Korea actually represents is the perfect nation in their view of how the world should work. One of the really great things about North Korea is that there is no such thing as Free Speech. So now we have all this fake news, legalized it actually back in 2013 under the national defense authorization act, and so now it's legal for the media to lie to us and yet again we have this fake news causing all this trouble, but the solution isn't to make lying in the media a civil liability or cause for criminal investigation, no, the soultion is going to be to restrict who can now legally lie to all of us. Gee, why would North Korea suddenly find the US an inviting place?

Satellite images show North Korea upgrading nuclear research facility: report
Satellite images from last week show that North Korea is making numerous improvements to the infrastructure at a nuclear research facility, according to a new study.

The images, obtained by North Korea analysis outlet 38 North, come just weeks after President Trump

Donald John TrumpCrowley stunner tops huge night for leftTrump congratulates Romney on primary winJudge orders Trump admin to begin reuniting immigrant families MORE and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un signed an agreement that called for a denuclearized Korean Peninsula.

The satellite photos indicate that North Korea is quickly progressing on several adjustments to the Yongbyon Nuclear Scientific Research Center.

The improvements include a new cooling water pump house, multiple new buildings, completed construction on a cooling water reservoir and an apparently active radiochemical laboratory. It is unclear whether the reactor is still in operation, the report said.

38 North notes that North Korean nuclear officials are expected to proceed with “business as usual” until Kim orders official changes to procedure.

The agreement between Trump and Kim, signed at the historic summit in Singapore earlier this month, commits the U.S. to “security guarantees” in exchange for a denuclearized Korean Peninsula. Critics said that the deal was unspecific and gave too much to North Korea without securing anything for the U.S. in return.

Ahead of the meeting between the two leaders, North Korea claimed to have destroyed its Punggye-ri nuclear testing site.
