Italy is a mess right now, politically, socially, and economically...

'Pack your bags': Italy's new interior minister talks tough on migrants

A controversial agreement between Italy's former centre left government and authorities and militias in Libya has triggered a fall in overall arrivals of some 75 percent since the summer of 2017. But since the start of this year, Italian authorities have registered more than 13,500 arrivals.

The latest came late Friday, just hours after Salvini took his oath of office, with some 158 people, including nine children, landing in Pozzallo after being rescued by a humanitarian boat in an operation coordinated by the Italian coast guard.

Salvini had said after being sworn in that he would ask his ministry's experts "how to reduce the number of arriving migrants and increase the number of expulsions".

"The good times for illegals is over -- get ready to pack your bags," he said Saturday at a rally in Italy's north.

Europe's 'axis of the willing' to combat illegal migrants: Hardline interior ministers of Germany, Austria and Italy form alliance to protect borders - in defiance of Merkel

The hardline interior ministers of Austria, Germany and Italy have formed an 'axis of the willing' to combat illegal immigration, Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz said Wednesday, escalating a Europe-wide row over the issue.

The announcement by Kurz in Berlin after talks with German Interior Minister Horst Seehofer marks a shot across the bow at Chancellor Angela Merkel, who is trying to pull together a deal for EU cooperation on placing asylum seekers.

Seehofer - who is locked in an open migration feud with Merkel that is threatening the stability of her coalition government - said that he and his far-right Austrian and Italian counterparts, Herbert Kickl and Matteo Salvini, formed their alliance this week.

Their cooperation would extend to 'issues of security and terrorism', he said, but did not offer specifics on what it would entail.

The news comes as Merkel called for tolerance amid a wave of support for anti-immigration parties across Europe, with the Chancellor saying the current political crop's migration policy would act as a 'litmus test' for the future of the continent.

Immigrant children born in Danish 'ghettos' will be separated from their families from the age of ONE for 25 hours a week to teach them 'Danish values' and the language

  • Infants will be taught the importance of Christmas, Easter and Danish language
  • Parents who don't send kids to 'Danish instruction' risk losing state support
  • The initiative targets people in low income, Muslim or 'non-Western' enclaves
  • Danish government has slated tough measures to integrate migrants into society
As of 2017, Denmark's housing ministry said non-Western immigrants made up 66.5 percent of ghetto populace.

They also account for 8.7 percent of Denmark's 5.7 million population.

Around half a million are from Muslim backgrounds, a group that swelled with Afghan, Iraqi and Syrian refugees crossing Europe, according to New York Times.

The Danish government have been attempting to assimilate 'ghetto' communities into mainstream society for decades.

In March, a plan to eradicate ghettos by 2030 under a 'One Denmark' scheme was unveiled by Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen.

The PM said he wanted to ensure people of non-Western backgrounds were contributing to society.

A month earlier, authorities proposed to double punishments in underprivileged parts of the country struggling with crime.

The bill also suggested setting up so-called 'special punishment zones' by police to hand out more severe punishments for certain offences such as theft and vandalism.

Last week, Denmark voted to ban the niqab and burqa, becoming the fifth European country to pass such a law.

That is the real reason for Brexit. Not racism but a fear of loss of sovereignty. Someone in Brussels or Berlin could write your policy and there isn't a damn thing you could do about it.

The meaning of the word racist is no longer the same. Used to be one who was active or at least vocal. Now it's about what is in the mind. If you don't want to be surrounded by foreigners there must be something wrong with you. The young are yet to find out and the elder already know. I am a racist by today's standards and Liberal by the old guard.

D. Davies has walked and he will be replaced by possibly a dual national I think. The Brexit is changing colour. Our sovereignty is only as good as it's people. Migrant and duals have far less interest in our Empire being great. We are too far gone and too polite to say it so I will, it's a mess because we can't be honest any longer, in time that becomes an accepted truth and it will step up another level where in time more acceptance will be pushed by the same fear. I remember an England with a very different feel and it was a nicer place to be.

Who here thinks they have no preference of culture. I've said it before and will again, Enoch Powell predicted this would create a mechanism where upon the foreigner would gain the upper hand over it's own. Here we are already. We have Eastern Europeans smuggling migrants here. Two thousand pound per person.

Fuck Europe and slam the door on the deal.

Sadiq Khan is a complete moron and does not have London nor England in his best interest, perhaps he should do his job, as Piers Morgan states, instead of insulting Britain's closest ally...The guy sickens me, everything he has done in my eyes has been pathetic, London deserves better...

_________

London's mayor should spend more time getting his city's murder rate below New York's and less time encouraging puerile stunts like the orange Trump 'baby' balloon that woefully disrespects Britain's greatest ally

When President Trump comes to Britain later this week, a giant 20ft balloon depicting him as an orange baby in diapers will be flown over the Houses of Parliament.

Permission to fly the balloon was granted by London's Mayor Sadiq Khan, who has been a vitriolic Trump critic and didn't want him to be given this state visit.

'Sadiq Khan should be ashamed of himself,' he raged. 'Maybe he should just do his job instead of attacking a world leader? Many people who come to London are Americans. More than half of us in the US now support the President and even those who don't support him, support his office. I would not like to go to a country where someone with the authority of a mayor was rallying people against them. It's highly inappropriate.'

Giuliani, whose own 'zero tolerance' policies were widely applauded for substantially reducing violent crime in New York, added: 'He's so busy attacking President Trump's visit and in the meantime, crime is spiralling in London. If crime is going up, he is obviously not paying attention to his job. This is one mayor who can tell him how to reduce crime – you have to pay attention to your job. From one mayor to another – do your job, Mr Khan.'

He makes a very good point.

I wonder how long it took Mayor Khan to approve this idea?

As long as it takes for the blade of a knife to pierce human flesh?

Or for a bullet to explode in someone's heart?

Or for a thug on a moped to snatch a woman's handbag?

I ask this because Giuliani's absolutely right: violent crime in London has rocketed on Mayor Khan's watch.

Knife attacks have soared by 21%, shooting incidents by 23%, street robberies by 33%, motorbike robberies by 50% and murders by 44%.

There have been over 80 murders so far in 2018, and in the months of February and March the city's murder rate exceeded that of New York.

So many believe Mayor Khan has been an absolute disaster when it comes to keeping Londoners safe and he should be focusing on THAT rather than approving stupid balloon stunts designed to embarrass America's president.

My own opinion about the balloon is that it's a pathetically puerile stunt that makes Britain look woefully petty, small-minded and gratuitously offensive.

This balloon farce comes as Britain teeters on the brink of political meltdown over its decision to leave the European Union.

Trump, an enthusiastic supporter of Brexit – in direct contrast to Obama, who said Britain would go to 'the back of the queue' for a trade deal with America if we voted to leave the EU – has repeatedly said he is keen to do a great new trade deal with the UK once it actually happens.

Britain desperately needs that deal to happen.

So ridiculing the man who can make that happen when he flies over to discuss such a deal seems a perverse act of self-harm.

Shame on you, Mayor Khan.

In words you would doubtless approve of: grow up, you big baby.

A balloon that looked like this for example

Immigration is a deeply polarising topic.
And as Sir David Attenborough says there is no major problem facing our planet that would not be easier to solve if there were fewer people; and no problem that does not become harder — and ultimately impossible to solve — with ever more.

I once had this conversation with a pro refugee friend here.

How many should we take ?

"All of them"

All of them ?

"Yes, these poor people are suffereing all of them"

I said the UNHCR lists 60 plus million ppl living in this state

UNHCR Global Trends report finds 65.3 million people, or one person in 113, were displaced from their homes by conflict and persecution

"So ?"

So we take all 65 million ?

"yes"

But our population is only 30 million, how could our taxes pay for that let alone the collapse of the infrastructure, hospitals roads fresh water and environment.....

"You are racist, and we are no longer friends"

The simple math is we cant take them all, at some stage we have to say hold up, no more. What do you say to the poor sod who's just been cut off at the door by the immigration bouncers.....

But it has to be done. So the question is when do we do it. Do we think ahead and make the cruel but correct choice or do we just wait until we are living in the same overcrowded shit hole these people are fleeing.

Great video that shows the dynamic

There's an old saying in Tennessee — I know it's in Texas, probably in Tennessee — that says, Trump is like an Orange Baby.

I was amazed by Bush Jr. , Never thought he could be topped by someone like mr. T

Same with migration, it's always been occurring but never at the pace we've seen in recent times, like it's being forced to comply with some agenda...We have yet to see the brunt of this madness of major relocation of peoples...

It's actions like Merkel's which divides the EU yet she still acts as if she has EU interest in mind...She needs to go and should have been removed or voted from office years ago...

German asylum row renews threat to unseat Merkel

...

Merkel was raised in East Germany and was part of the first post-collapse East German government.

If you view Merkel as a Russian spy trying to destroy the west that explains most of her actions.

Kahn I refuse to recognise as mayor. He needs to go, off at the deep end. If he is backing this balloon prank then tie a sandbag to him and throw him in. I have a worrying feeling the people will be voting again over our exit. I sincerely hope not.

It has to be that many here are prepared to spoil our best chance because they are not about what is best for England but for their own desires. Should be a red carpet for Trump, maybe Khan should pilot it.

'Give me an atom bomb and I'll wipe Holland off the face of the earth,' vows leader of Pakistani Islamist group in response to Prophet Muhammad cartoon competition

The leader of a Pakistani Islamist group vowed to 'wipe Holland off the face of the earth' with a nuclear attack in response to a Prophet Muhammad cartoon competition being held in the country.

He was referencing a competition of cartoons depicting the Prophet Muhammad announced by The Freedom Party of Dutch anti-Islam politician Geert Wilders last month.

The party said the plan to hold the competition in the party's secure offices in Dutch Parliament had been approved by the Dutch Counter-terrorism Agency NCTV.

Wilders' Freedom Party is the leading opposition party in parliament after coming in second place in elections last March.

He has called for the Koran to be banned, and says Islam is a totalitarian faith.

'Freedom of speech is threatened, especially for Islam critics,' Wilders said in a statement.

'We should never accept that. Freedom of speech is our most important freedom.'

How were Brits (Londonistanians) nuts enough to elect him???

Oh, there is a book on that:
