One of the oldest UFOzines on the internet seems to have gone away, does anyone know what happened?...

Click on the link:

It got digested.

The literal message you got indicates the front end servers are up but the backend is down.

To me that means they still own the DNS (IE the site is active).

Could be hacked, could be temporary.

If it is a hack they should put some message on the frontend servers in a day or two.

They really should expect errors like this and post an "The website encountered an expected error" message then describe what the error is.

UFO Digest Moving to America

After Repeated Hacking on its server in Canada., UFO Digest is migration south to the United States for greater internet security, something which the Canadian service provider has not been able to provide.

Cloudflare seems to be the favorite solution to DDOS and that is easy to get in the US.

I notice a number of websites use cloudflare and resolve to local addresses (DC area).

The DC area is MAE East and server farm heaven so that isn't too surprising.

The hacking problem Nivek might be more familiar with.

There has to be software to recognize the hacking strings and autoban the IP addresses.
