Key phrases in today's beg:

DiUO3D_VAAAjPt4.jpg

"I have hours to pay - otherwise we have to leave - with no where to go"

Typical Gene, transforming what's an expense he's incurred on his own into a life or death deadline to trick people into giving him money. Notice he didn't say he didn't have the money to pay for more days, and in fact ...

"Save for an apartment ... Even though I have income"

DING DING DING. it's the first time I've actually SEEN him admit he gets some sort of income. He just basically admits all this stuff is deceitful bullshit. Then he throws this in:

"we're basically alone"

So, in other words all the bullshit about the cost of living being too high is completely within your means to change by, you know, RELOCATING?

It's amazing how he manipulates one thing to another to try to grift from someone. First, he has no furniture worth a damn, but he has to pay for massive storage and moving costs. Next, the cost of living is too much in his area so he HAS to be in a gated complex because that's all there is (which is bullshit anyway.) Then he'll let everyone know how he's all alone and it's not as if family is keeping him in the area.

Gotta give it to him, this is one of the more obnoxious updates he's had in a while.

What's kinda neat is before long our fearless leader :smile2:is going to have to break this thread into a 2nd thread (and more) like they did on the August Paracast forum for official funny consciousness and the paranormal and the official paracast political thread.

Excellent post from Jacks blog today

Erickson,

Thank you for bringing the details of the bankruptcy to light.

First, I don't buy the amount of $3576 for his monthly expenses for a minute! And if this were in fact true, then he's more despicable then I believe him to be.

My point is that Steinberg had/has a choice. He has a fixed income, and added average net income from the Paracast et al, totaling $2800.00 per month (I note that he didn't say anything about the Tech Night Owl income, that is listed under a separate, bogus LLC and this doesn't include scam money). With his rent at that time being 681.73 (according to the eviction paper he published), anyone capable of doing math could live under those parameters (if that is the choice).

Having since obtained a copy of the bankruptcy, (which anyone can obtain for themselves via Pacer as you mentioned at the Expanse forum) and as to the $674.00, that amount is listed under his "ongoing monthly expenses." Perhaps I missed it, but I didn't see anywhere–where this was the "ending balance" of the car loan. If that was/is the case, then it shouldn't have been posted in the "ongoing monthly expenses." Moreover, a

• $674.00 car payment is ludicrous!

• As is $400.00 for transportation! This guy is in front of a computer 60-70 hours and his wife doesn't work.

• $200.00 for entertainment for a guy that is always about to be homeless?!

• $195 for insurance–he must be a terrible driver!

• He lists cell phone, internet and cable at $225.00. Obviously, cable is a luxury that he shouldn't have and the internet is a business expense. One has to wonder if the listed the expense twice.

There are more discrepancies, but it seems to me that his expenses were inflated, to put it mildly and again if true, is a crime.

Finally, when he filed bankruptcy, burning his landlord and his other creditors, he lived in a double-wide mobile home, the rent (as mentioned above) was 681.73; from that place he moved into the gated, luxury condo that Chris O'Brien mentioned in his radio interview condemning his former partner; the rent there was almost double from the mobile home!

Erickson, it seems that you take Steinberg at his word, for many of his woes, beginning with his claim that he gave his life savings to his brother-in-law; Steinberg is a demonstrable, consummate liar and that story has changed over the years.

Corporate documents show that Steinberg was in business (Numis Gems) with his brother-in-law; moreover, court documents show he has a history of fraud far before his claim of giving up his life savings.

The guy's a longtime conman and the proverbial, legal noose is tightening.

=================================================================================

This is consistent with my experience where he inflated the shows income potential to me. Telling me "you can make a living from it"

As i pointed out at the time if you can make a living out of it why are you begging ?

He cant have it both ways.

And as the latest begging post shows he does not get the difference between income and a living wage

A living wage is the minimum income necessary for a worker to meet their basic needs.

Clearly (if he is telling the truth which i doubt) He is not earning the minimum income necessary to meet his basic needs.

And if he thinks panhandling, being a professional begger will subsidize his lifestyle, hes insane.

After 12 years and still facing homelessness insane is the only word that works

"The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results."

Sometimes attributed to Einstein.

Jack Brewer is looking for some information...

That SchemeGeneRC twitter nut has me blocked, I guess he has an agenda beyond exposing Gene, he copies and tweets posts from this forum but didn't like it when I posted a link back to this thread in his comments...Social media is full of nuts...

What I would like explained is how Steinberg claims he is close to living out of his car and yet his websites have never shut down even once. Granted, without his various accounts and websites there is no avenue to beg for money.

Also, does he have no shame? Does he not realize that the constant asking for money and giving a daily update of his life is a gigantic turn off for everyone? I guess there must be a few gullible people out there who still make donations to Steinberg. I would think that the well must be close to dry concerning more hand outs.

Yet his websites have never shut down even once.

In his own words they cost bugger all to run, This is what he told me.

Domains cost about $12.50 a year with privacy.
We have a bunch of similar domains for the various sites. Check namecheap.com for pricing.
The forum software costs $55 a year to maintain. I have three licenses.

By his own admission they pay for themselves and return a small profit

Its a con, a sham. Another crooked con man who thinks he can make an easy buck from Ufology.

This is the monsoon season in Phoenix. Monsoons are violent thunderstorms that can drop tons of rain in a short time and often have winds over 50-60 miles an hour. I am surprised that Gene has not picked up this angle so far. STORM DAMAGE EVERYONE? Has a tree limb crashed through his car wind shield, not allowing him to drive for Uber? Cotribute now! Has the electricity been knocked out, requiring Gene to cook over an open fire until he sadly runs out of matches? Contribute now! Did a lightning bolt incinerate Gene's equipment, jeopardizing the future of the Paracast? Contribute now. Truly Gene is missing out on an opportunity to leverage the monsoon season to his advantage.

I couldn't resist advising he really dig into the wealth of material out there on Gene's past activities. I don't want to ride his case about it, he can do the homework or not, and even then his decision might not be what mine would be.

It's a lot I realize to have to wade through all the comments at say the UFO Trail blog posts to find some of the really troubling information.

Just reading this thread seriously would raise a lot of red flags one would think, but if he doesn't care to do that (it is really a very long thread), well, so be it.

You may as well expect the default, 'haters are just haters' response from anyone regarding this, because that's what always happens in the field. If you take Gene's word for it, every problem in his life was caused by circumstance or someone else, for a dozen years plus ongoing now. I would suggest Gene, or anyone associated with him, take a look at this:

...one of the great secrets of human nature is that the one thing people want more than love, security, sex, chocolate or big-screen TV's is to feel hard done by. Why? Because being hard done by is the shit. Feeling hard done by is the sweetest of drugs. If you're being persecuted -- it must mean you're doing the right thing, right? You get the mellow buzz of the moral high ground, but without arrogantly claiming it as your own. You get an instant, supportive community in a big dark scary world of such scope it may well literally be beyond rational human processing. When you are hard done by, you get purpose in a life where otherwise, you'd have to find your own. And when you ride that high, then no amount of logic, no pointing out that in actuality you and your beliefs are at a high point of popularity and influence for the last hundred years -- is going to pry that sweet crack-pipe of moral indignation from your hands.

Gene must be getting desperate.
I raised the prospect of him making Randall a moderator a year or so ago, and he rejected the idea most strenuously.

This is what I think too, he probably saw USI Calgary posting here and jumped to do this out of desperation...

I think USI Calgary is really missing the picture if he feels Gene's clockwork begging is just an understandable but perhaps regrettably clumsy way of monetizing the Paracast. But I do not want to beat him up and drive him off so I'm letting it go. People have urged him to dig more.

And if he does he may still decide it's OK to collaborate with Gene for whatever reason, even if he knows about the endless hyperbolic begging alongside the attempt to maintain an unaffordable lifestyle (cars, apartments, etc.), Numis Gems, the questionable parts of the bankruptcy, the grab at Hurricane Harvey relief dollars, the refusal to seek any form of aid other than no-strings-attached cash, all the judgments against the Steinbergs, the raging paranoia and victim complex, the overall deceptiveness and manipulation....

Maybe he can get him to stop all of the nonsense? He might win the UFO field person of the year by default if thats case!

I can see it now ... 2018 UFOlogy Person of the Year Runner-Up ... Lou Elizondo for getting the US Government to admit the existence of Unidentified Flying Objects in our atmosphere!

And the winner goes to the man who truly did the impossible ... for getting Gene Steinberg to stop begging for money!

To cut to the chase, Randall, I don't want to give you an enforced timeout. I'd rather you just dial it back a bit for a while. Can do?

Peace,
Gene Steinberg

Can you explain your reasoning this time, or am I simply expected to capitulate to your demands and listen to you two trash me in the preamble to the next show?

LOL.... that’s a good one! Getting Steinberg to reverse years of panhandling. Not in this lifetime.
