Just started a 10 day vacation tonight, 4 of those days I'll be in New York City...The garden is about done, I yielded about 60 lbs. of green beans and 25 ears of corn along with 40 habanero peppers...I canned 40 quarts of green beans, gave a lot of beans away to neighbors, its been a good growing season for me this year...

I'm in New York now, arrived yesterday afternoon, waking up in my hotel to my first morning here, my hotel is in New Jersey it's 530 am at the moment, going to get some breakfast and head in to New York...This morning I'm visiting the 911 memorial and museum and also taking a trip up the One World Trade Center Observatory...

If I recall correctly they used twice as must concrete & steel in the Freedom Tower as code required. I think that has to do with foreknowledge of a future event.

Good morning, I'm at my hotel in New Jersey, going to have some breakfast and head out to the Rockefeller Center and later to see the statue of liberty...

Yesterday had lunch in Trump Towers and dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe...Did some shopping too on Fifth Ave and a underground shopping Plaza near the world Trade center, walked through Central Park, walked all around Manhattan, well took a cab from time to time too lol

Also today heading to Ellis Island to see the statue of liberty and taking a boat tour around Long Island and other points of interest...:)

My holiday in New York is winding down, this is my last night in the Big Apple and I've been celebrating my last night in Times Square...:D

Tomorrow I have the morning to buy a few gifts for friends at home in NC and fly back home around 3pm tomorrow a direct flight 1 hour 20 minutes...

I've had an amazing time this week in NYC, one of the best vacations thus far...I've taken some great images which I'll post many of them when I get home...

Trump has 4 buildings in NYC that have his name on them, I've been to 2 of them this week, Trump International Hotel and Tower and Trump Tower... I'm not sure what the other two are officially called lol...The one I had lunch at was the Trump Tower and the Big letters on the side of the Tower, and it sure is a tower, looks golden lol...

I'll post the images I took of those two towers soon...

Just getting up and moving around in my hotel right now, my last day in New York, flying home this afternoon...

Home sweet home now, my canine companion was sure glad to see me return, he's been home with my brother dog sitting for me, 70 lbs. of Australian Shepherd barreling out my front door when I got out of my car lol...

I would love to see the US, I have often studied a map and wondered where I would go. Would absolutely love to land on some of you folks front door, with a Bottle of Jack Daniels. Gday I'm Dundee, wheres the party. The look on your faces would be priceless.
