Roswell, can we finally let it go?

You might need to elaborate on your “aliens.” Who are they, where are they from, what do they look like and most of all... why did they choose you to take into their confidence?

This is Truth, he even has a paperback book on Amazon, I've been trying to get a signed copy for years. But I'm weird, If I'm going to collect it, I want it signed :)

Its categorized as Fiction by Kchoo, so take it as its labeled...I will not read a book labeled as fiction if I want to read real life experiences...

I see it this way, While I'm not talking smack about any community, I ask you from your heart, If someone had a true story of a real experience, Could they really tell it? I mean, We know without even discussing it, The wolves would eat this person demanding proof, I have a few experiences, I tell them only because, in the end, it doesn't matter what someone thinks if the truth is being told. plus I know most of the people here and, I know how to deal with people, (Mostly) But I can imagine it would be difficult for some people to tell an experience then be interrogated about the issue and even harassed. That's not to even say anything about this community or any community, It's just how people are bro.

So sick of Roswell. As a kid - thought it was legit (legit meaning a flying saucer from another planet). After hearing & reading more information over the decades - I believe it's bunk. They did recover something, but not a flying saucer. Karl Pflock's book was pretty good on the subject.

I know S. Friedman is the big Roswell/flying saucer proponent - but S.F. also believes that the Flatwoods Monster was a real alien/cryptid. Do flying saucers from other worlds exist? Yes. Is there any PROOF that some of these craft have visited the Earth? Not that I've been aware of since 1971.

Yes without doubt, people do it every day, there are true experiences posted all over this forum, even many of my own experiences, none are covered up in fiction or called such...If I was going to write a book about my real life experiences I certainly will never call it fiction, there are countless people who have contact experiences and none of them call their experiences fiction whether in a book or in an interview...

I'll grant you this, No matter how you view it, You are entitled to see it that way, I can't speak for him, But, I do wonder if that played a part in why it's labeled as it is. Either way, At this point, I'd feel like I was prying or speaking for someone else, So, I really can't do that.

I've thought about writing books, I think I'd be a great author, But If I did write, I'd probably write science fiction or fantasy.

Welcome to AE. :)

If you aren't totally scared off by religious people, I think David Flynn (r.i.p.) had some interesting observations about Roswell. Beyond that stuff though, I think it's pointless. Any evidence is long gone now. And honestly, what David Flynn points out is just an interesting different angle but isn't anything concrete either.

The Flatwoods Monster was part of a large UFO flap in the Eastern USA at the time. I think it was some sort of small vehicle or robotic device from a larger craft.

Hi and thank you. Yes, I know all about the Flatwoods Monster (and what it wasn't). Just the one version that Frank Freschino(sp?) Jr. tells along with Stan Friedman is quite ludicrous. It's so ludicrous that I am surprised that SF backs Frank up on it.

The witnesses described a creature operating the device from within, from what I've heard.

What's the best effort made to debunk this incident? I like to check both sides of a story before I reach a conclusion about it, but so far I've only heard the case for a real event involving a strange device that emitted some kind of unusual fog, operated by an unknown being, seen by a group of witnesses.

As for Roswell - I think it's an important case because it may involve recovered technology. And the recent statements by Dr. Eric Davis and Lue Elizondo support the view that it actually involved a recovered alien craft.

In any case I tend to assume that we've recovered exotic technology from crash retrieval operations. For one thing, it would explain the extremely intense counterintelligence efforts of the last 70 years aimed at discrediting the entire subject and humiliating credible witnesses. I suspect that we would've been subjected to the same level of PsyOps if the atomic bomb had been kept classified for the last 70 years rather than having been deployed in WWII - the online science forums would have similar rules against discussion of "kooky atomic fission theory," and the news media would still be scoffing at the "those zany conspiracy theorists who think that the atom can be split and that the military is hiding such technology right now."

The descriptions of the monster given by the witnesses sound like a small craft or vehicle to me. It floated or glided through the air and had no legs or wheels. It also released an oily substance that stained clothing and made the witnesses sick. The substance could have been a defense mechanism, similar to the "gas" emitted by the robot in the Cisco Grove incident later on in California. Or it could have been damaged and leaking fluid.
