Even when there are small spikes of sightings, many times it can be chocked up as drones or a hoax for attention on social media... I do agree that nowadays kids and teenagers (most adults, too) rarely are ever outside and
not on their phone, they see no reason to look at anything else, nevertheless the sky, unless told to... it makes me wonder how many things have gone unnoticed in our skies because of how addicted people have become to technology...
It is a shame, because for the people that truly believe and want to find hard, undeniable evidence, it is usually squandered by people who edit pieces together for "likes" and attention, or there is just a majority of people today who do not believe in any existing life outside of our planet...
I think it's more of a *what's the point* it won't change anything.
I've never made a report of sightings or abductions. If I can't get my family and friends to take me seriously, how do I make authorities believe?
I know it's real. That's what I have to settle for because otherwise, I'd probably go nuts.
Thank goodness for sites like Nivek's because I always felt so alone before. I know it isn't my job to make the world listen but, at least I have you guys.
There is no decline in sightings. Just a decline in reported sightings. They are there.
I believe the majority of people have been convinced that anything unusual they see in the sky today is our own advanced technology.
Sometimes it is.
I agree... I have learnt that it is especially difficult trying to explain how you feel and your thoughts about topics related to this to people close to you, unless they express the same... a very small percentage of the people I know do not believe in the paranormal or even UFOs/extraterrestrial life. People stop coming forward with experiences and encounters whether it is related to UFOs, Sasquatch, anything along those lines, for fear of being ridiculed not only by the people close to them, but their community as a whole...
Before here, I found a haven in the form of AlienHub, but I have to say Nivek's site does make me feel more at home than I felt there, where I don't have to second guess anything I think/say.
It makes me wonder what we could find out if some people weren't so close-minded....
