Interesting. The FBI can find a lunatic bomb mailer instantly. But when the same organization is given a week to investigate decades old allegations in which the names & addresses of those involved are known somehow that isn't enough and they aren't being thorough.

We cycled through the three newsfotainment outlets last night out of boredom and it made for a good laugh to see the contrast from one moment to the next between channels. An observation - and I think a fairly objective one - is that Anderson Cooper is a lousy interviewer. Poor timing, a bit whiny. Watch him for a bit and tell me his default serious expression isn't channeling Sam the Eagle

And for those AC fans out there, equal time for Tucker Carlson. When he's chewing on someone the look on his face is the same look a small kid gives you when you ask them "you have to go to the bathroom?" and they say "no"

Thank God for the bomber - he gave us something else to obsess over for a couple of days before we move on to the next thing to become hysterical over. A sparkly pinwheel could disrupt the news cycle at this point

The shadow

The shadow knows!
shorn of politics the case of the bomber was an easy one.
the guy dropped the bombs in the mail.
they all had a cancelation stamp. once the post office where he mailed his bombs from was known it was a simple matter to use security cameras to find the guy.
his van and home was loaded with political stickers.
He had made treats on Twitter. his finger prints and DNA was on the packages.
it was like he was waving a sign. "come arrest me!"

Here's what we know so far about Robert Bowers, the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting suspect

He blamed Jews for helping migrant caravans and called those in the caravan 'invaders'
Bowers claimed Jews were helping transport members of the migrant caravans. He shared a video that another Gab.com user posted, purportedly of HIAS on the U.S.-Mexico border. Another post that Bowers commented on described HIAS' overall efforts as "sugar-coated evil." He believed that those in the migrant caravans were violent because they were attempting to leave countries that had high levels of violence. And Bowers repeatedly called them "invaders." "I have noticed a change in people saying 'illegals' that now say 'invaders'," read one post, six days before the shooting. "I like this."
