Strange music without an apparent source.
Listen: Mystery Music is an Interstate Annoyance - Coast to Coast AM
By Tim Binnall

Residents in a number of northern New Jersey towns along the Delaware River say that they are being tormented by mysterious music wafting across the water and keeping them up at night. The odd acoustic annoyance was reportedly first noticed during the summer on sporadic occasions and, in recent weeks, has become almost a nightly nuisance. One agitated witness to the weird sound vividly described it as a "sickening pulsing heartbeat" that "came straight through our front porch to the back of our home in the kitchen."

According to the unfortunate individuals forced to endure this strange mystery, the music has been known to play from the early evening until well into the morning, sometimes mere hours before dawn. One industrious resident was even able to capture the sound, which you can hear in the video above, and it is both eerie in its ghost-like nature as well as incredibly maddening in that it consists of a lot of muffled words that are impossible to decipher. To that end, we can't decide which would be more frustrating, having to hear the music all night or not knowing the words.

Regardless, after weeks of hearing the music at all hours of the night, angry residents finally turned to the authorities to restore silence to their lives. However, it seems that, as is often the case with these mysteries, cops are equally stumped in their search for the source of the sound. They've even dispatched officers to the other side of the river into the state of Delaware in an attempt to locate the music's origin, but they've come up empty handed. Meanwhile, police in that jurisdiction say that they also have no idea what might be producing the sound.

That's not to say that there are not theories, though, as a number of possible suspects have been put forward by people suffering through the sound. Among the possible places suggested for producing the music are a barge on the water or people showcasing the sound system of their cars and unknowingly torturing residents living across the river. Hopefully with word getting out about the mystery sound, whoever is behind it will turn the volume down so that their neighbors in New Jersey can get some sleep.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani declared a war situation due to the new sanctions.
Iran president declares 'war situation' in response to US sanctions
Iran is again ramping up its aggressive rhetoric in light of the latest sanctions from the U.S. that go into effect today.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani declared a “war situation” on Monday as the U.S. reimposed its final sanctions against Iran on Monday that restrict its oil, banking and shipping, the Associated Press reported.

“We are in the war situation,” Rouhani said. “We are in the economic war situation. We are confronting a bullying enemy. We have to stand to win.”

He further compared the Trump Administration’s decision to reimpose sanctions to that of the dictatorship of Iraq leader Saddam Hussein in the 1980s.

“Yesterday, Saddam was in front us, today Trump is front of us. There is no difference. We must resist and win,” he said.

Meanwhile, Iran began a two-day military drill in its northern territory, which will end Tuesday. State television footage showed surface-to-air missiles successfully striking down a drone. The drill includes Iran’s national army, as well as its paramilitary Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

The latest round of sanctions – and the last to be reinstated after they were lifted for the 2015 nuclear deal with Iran – freezes U.S. assets belonging to entities who continue importing Iranian oil without a waiver.

The sanctions have targeted more than 700 entities in or connected to Iran, including individuals, and even aircraft and vessels. The sanctions are expected to cripple Iran’s economy.

“Today we are re-imposing all sanctions that were previously lifted under the #Iran nuclear deal. This includes sanctions on energy, banking, shipping, and shipbuilding,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced Monday morning.

Battleground-state Dems who opposed Kavanaugh all defeated
Incumbent Senate Democrats in battleground states who opposed the Brett Kavanaugh Supreme Court nomination appeared to have paid a price on Election Day, with senators Heidi Heitkamp of North Dakota, Indiana's Joe Donnelly, Claire McCaskill of Missouri and Florida's Bill Nelson all suffering defeat.

In fact, every Democrat incumbent who opposed Kavanaugh in states rated "toss up" by Fox News lost their race. In contrast, the lone Democrat who voted for Kavanaugh, Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia, won his race.

Cave painting believed to be at least 40,000 years old has been discovered in Indonesia.
Indonesian Caves Hold Oldest Figurative Painting Ever Found, Scientists Say
Archaeologists exploring caves in Indonesia have discovered a wall painting that could be the oldest figurative painting ever found.

It depicts ... a cow. Despite the humble subject matter, the painting is extraordinary because it's at least 40,000 years old. That makes it thousands of years older than the oldest such paintings in Europe.

The Indonesia painting is one of thousands of drawings and stencils in a warren of limestone caves tucked into remote mountains at the far eastern edge of the island of Borneo, a part of Indonesia called Kalimantan. Archaeologists went there in the 1990s looking for cave art.

Archaeologist Maxime Aubert of Griffith University in Australia says that when they showed photos of cave art to the local people, "They said, 'Oh, yeah, we've seen something like that in the caves.' " The locals knew the caves from going there to harvest birds' nests for the Asian market in birds' nest soup.

The drawings and paintings included lots of hand stencils made by putting a hand up against a rock and blowing liquid ochre onto it — as well as paintings of animals and of stick-figure humans with headdresses and spears. But no one knew how old they were.

A Mob Showed Up Outside Tucker Carlson’s House And Ordered Him To ‘Leave Town’

A mob showed up outside Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s house Wednesday evening, posted pictures of his address online and demanded that he flee the city of Washington, D.C.

At least one of the protesters went all the way up to Carlson’s front door, where they left a sign with his family’s home address written on it and rang his doorbell. Carlson’s wife Susie was home alone at the time.

The group posted video footage to Twitter showing one of the mob’s ringleaders leading the crowd in chants of “racist scumbag, leave town!” and “Tucker Carlson, we will fight! We know where you sleep at night!”

“No borders! No walls! No USA at all!” the protesters chanted in another video posted to Twitter.

‘They were threatening me and my family’: Tucker Carlson’s home targeted by protesters

“I called my wife,” Carlson told The Washington Post in a phone interview. “She had been in the kitchen alone getting ready to go to dinner and she heard pounding on the front door and screaming. ... Someone started throwing himself against the front door and actually cracked the front door.”

His wife, thinking it was a home invasion, locked herself in the pantry and called 911, Carlson said. The couple have four children, but none were home at the time.

I would not agree with much that Carlson talks about. However, it is total BS when an angry mob is pounding on your door. People need to compose themselves when someone disagrees with their viewpoint. One day someone may be pounding on their door wanting to get at them as well.

I've never watched his show but know of him from the news on dailymail lately...This kind of action should never happen in America, protesting publicly and peaceful is one thing, but invading someone's private property ordering them to leave, and the other words they shouted "no USA at all" is disturbing...

This just started yesterday!

At least five dead, Paradise ‘pretty much destroyed’ as wildfire rages in Northern California

"PARADISE, Calif. — Homes were swallowed by the raging flames. Cars and trucks were left melting in the road. And thousands of residents of this remote Northern California town fled for their lives as a fast-moving wildfire roared across Butte County, about 90 miles north of state capital Sacramento, in what was quickly declared a state emergency.

"The Camp Fire has left a horrifying trail of death and destruction in its wake. The Butte County Sheriff’s Office said Friday that five people were killed in Paradise, their bodies found in vehicles that had been overcome by the flames. There have been additional reports of deaths in the fire zone, but those have not yet been confirmed, the sheriff’s office said, because “the fire is still active, and there are many hazards in areas where fatalities have been reported.”

"By early Friday morning, nearly 110 square miles had been burned in a fire that was 5 percent contained, officials said. At least 2,000 structures were destroyed, with thousands more threatened and more than 50,000 people were evacuated across the region.

“Pretty much the community of Paradise is destroyed,” Cal Fire Capt. Scott McLean said at a news conference, according to the Associated Press. “It’s that kind of devastation.”
