My gut take is he is a guy who already had his mind made up about Gene and has not actually read the UFO Trail blog posts, for example, nor scrolled through the 2018 begging email screenshots at @SchemeGeneRC. I think he's a fool for ignoring all the evidence, and compounding that foolishness by getting further entangled with Gene.

Just one thing that doesn't parse for me is, he has to know how it ended with Gene's last two co-hosts and I would think have some clue what each says about the man now. How does he imagine his experience will be better than theirs?

Then if he would just honestly take in the stuff at the UFO Trail blog, I mean, to me the picture those court documents paint of Gene is flat out repulsive.

Plus if you really look at the history of begging, helping him produce the Paracast is enabling a guy who doesn't care who he hurts so long as he gets money somehow. Then on top of that, that money hasn't helped him - he's begged, borrowed and stolen* and still wound up homeless, and dragged his wife and pet along for the ride.

I've no clue how one really helps Gene but I don't think propping up his failing operation is the answer. I have seen a lot of things I'd call helpful suggestions from Erickson and others. Whether or not Gene takes them...?

(* I would argue he's stolen from at least his last two landlords)

He knows exactly what Gene is upto.Nivek,myself and others told him point blank and pointed him in the direction of the reams of evidence online.He couldn't care less!.Said it had nothing to do with him and was Genes business and didn't impact on his relationship with Gene.

And on a somewhat related note whatever the hell happened to Decker? Has anybody come across any titillating suggestions?

Right. He definitely knows, he is just pretending that it is some bizarre but acceptable way of podcast monetisation. This illustrates the fact that Randalbot is just as ethically handicapped as old Schemey.

I think what is happening here is that you have two grifters collaborating on the surface with each one thinking he is getting one over on the other. They both think they are way above everyone else intellectually and can run rings around the average "sucker".

In this case Schemey thinks he has a willing slave who will do most of the work whilst he can maintain his facade of having a serious podcast - or radio show as he likes to call it in his twisted mind.

Randall thinks he can slowly take over the show and when Gene is dead and gone he will be able to turn it into his own personal career and cash cow.

Both are deluded and both deserve each other.

Anyone with even limited mental capacity can see that Schemey's behaviour has doomed the show. So Randall has effectively purchased a poison chalice in exchange for his reputation.

I wouldn't be surprised if once Gene dies, Randall realises what a colossal mistake he has made and takes over the REAL primary business of the Paracast - i.e. sending out hundreds of fake begging letters.

Yeah, I liked this one too. The last part particularly hit a note I agree with. It's easy to think he's just some weird, inept, annoying guy who does compulsive begging, without acknowledging that he's actually hurting people.

He takes money from people who at times can ill-afford to give it, and he'll take more if he can. He's burned landlords large and small. Property managers who cut him a break may have gotten in trouble for it. There is a trail of damage, and no sign he has any intention of changing his ways. To the contrary, this is how he lives.

And also I think this point about all the bills he begs for underscores, how does he imagine he can cut it in another apartment? What has changed? He can't pay for his storage place, allegedly. He has gone into the red a couple times with (he tells us) all of his accounts recently. I mean, why should anyone think sending him some money is going to make a long term difference? He got thousands out of poor James Torson and we see the end result.

Sorry, I know I'm a broken record. Not only a broken record but like a double album. Concert for Bangladesh maybe.

Yeah, I knew of that, thanks just the same, what I actually was referring to (and it's pretty irreverent I suppose) was that he's been dead silent on the Paracast forum, but then there's no reason for him to be trying to shake things up and getting the yaak going, other than the several chatting on the Paranormal and Consciousness round. 12 there's nothing happening. Gene's was grabbing him for a bit to use on the show earlier this year but I image it didn't take long for either of them to get on each others nerves.

This “Ancient Mysteries Cruise” is tied to the “Ancient Aliens” program. Thanks but no thanks. I would prefer taking a cruise without all that Alien business in the background.

I can't fathom why anyone would have a problem with this. Chris is a straight shooter with a lifetime of study on this topic...this is the kind of person we should want to be landing paid speaking gigs.

It's like Stanton Friedman says - if the reputable people turn down these kinds of engagements, then there's an army of David Wilcucks and Corey Goods out there who are eager to spread their nonsense: the best thing to do is to take the mic from them.

Good point, Thomas. Still, though, I'm surprised he's doing it. Of course, they are no doubt paying him and he gets to go on a cruise, so I can't say I'd do any different.

So I downloaded it. Do I have to listen to it? I've just recently figured out that I don't like podcasts. Don't recall the last time I listened to one all the way through.
