I suspect the only time Schemey has done any kind of job (if at all) it has been a short lived attempt at furthering his grifting exactly as this story would suggest. There is no way he would do any actual productive work.

He would just use the job as a way to beg new people for money, loans, wiping his ass - basically anything he could get.

You could also guarantee he would be stealing all the supplies he could - even things he didn't need so he could sell them on Ebay.

No employer would want this parasite visiting their establishment, let alone be paying to have him "working" for them, where work would just mean him using them as a base of operations for scamming.

Wouldn't take long for them to be out of business once he had infected them with his scams.

So, I don't know. Are we actually witnessing it all unravelling for Gene, however slowly? He's for certain the boy who cried wolf. He'd paint what he considers a dire portrait (but with a light at the end of the tunnel) regardless of his actual circumstances, in hopes of getting folks to open up their wallets. But have the chickens at long last come home to roost?Is he going to have to give up Netflix?

Just FYI this is what I sent:.

I saw your post on the Eric Ouellet(?) thread I think it was about where are all the posters . A LOT of us have moved to Alien Expanse . Mike was there a bit but I guess he had a falling out if sorts. Trained is there as well but lurks mostly, but many of us are there. Please do check us out. The Gene thread is some 130 pages and growing every day. I myself am not as involved with it as well for reasons I'm sure your aware off but they got some great guys there. Check them Out!

I wonder what sort of Christmas festivities Gene and Bab's will have this year? Im sure Bab's will be on and off the crapper the same way kids get on and off Santa's knee - ie every 3 minutes. Whats the chances he puts on the sympathy pity act in his emails merely because its Christmas as well?

It will be lonely for Gene. he chased Grayson away. He will suffer as Barb watches fox. he may try to culp more for Christmas
my Christmas day will be with my family. my wife's parents will join us.
my 11 year old will marvel at his Ryan Braun signed ball
My twins will give the 1st gift to their love interest.
Love joy and laughter will fill our condo.
But Gene will shut it out. he will be alone with barb in a fleabag hotel.
miserable and lost.
a fate I do not wish on him or anyone else. My wife speaks much of karma.

Finished that End of Days podcast. Nothing stunning from Gene we haven't heard, no new podcast to listen to. Awful. He did seem gracious toward CO though, just said he was having some personal issues and didn't want to get into it. Took the high road. He did go on the typical rant about politics, Fox news etc - said that as a legitimate journalist he has a legitimate gripe. Yeah, OK.

Now there's an hour or so I can't ever get back. I could have stared at my toenails for an hour and been equally enriched.
