No. As I understand it, President's Choice will only be offered at the new Old Forester distillery and select Kentucky stores.

A few might be found online for sale somewhere, maybe one of those shops will have an online store as well as the physical store?...

I live in Pennsylvania which has these antiquated liquor laws. You can only purchase liquor through state controlled stores. Thus ordering liquor outside the state is forbidden. Most states sell beer and liquor under one roof. Not PA. It's a really poor system and it isn't going away any time soon. :(

I read a tweet by William Shatner that this Bourbon is available for a very limited time, until 12/31/18...

I'm an original trekkie but no way I'm pulling $125 out of my pocket for JTK bourbon.

I've spent more than that on a bottle of Johnny Walker, but this new years I'm looking for a different flavour, haven't pinned it down yet, but I hear from the locals that a new liquor store has recently opened in a neighboring town and I hear tell and I quote, "they have brands of bourbon and whiskeys that the other stores around here do not carry"...So getting that tidbit of info 5th hand down and keeping it in mind tomorrow as I go into that town, there's a high probability of a visit to that brand new shop to take a glance at what alleged new flavours they have stocked on their brand new shelves...lol

I’m still working on my bottle of Monkey Shoulder... when that is finished, I plan on getting Old Forrester 1920. It is rated a 4 out of 5. Since I don’t drink much, I plant to buy only 3.5 and up. But my budget will be between 40 and 65 dollars, and probably only once a year. Lol.

Yeah I generally like to stay around that range too if I buy a bottle, but sometimes I'll kick in a little extra cash to try a new flavour lol...

I recently saw a movie starring Sylvester Stallone titled Bullet to the Head. In it, his character's favorite drink is Bulleit bourbon.

Not being a cheapskate but some things are only worth so much. That most likely is a 750ml $30 bottle of bourbon with $70 of label on it. I've bought a lot of overpriced ST stuff over the years .....

Most people dont care that much about all the tasting notes and stuff... all they care about is the effect of the alchohol and if they can tolerate the burn. Lol.

If you are only interested in the cheap stuff, that is probable true about the alcoholic effects. I know plenty of whisky aficionados who are very much interested in the tasting notes and the alcohol content (ABV).

I agree. I like to try to pick out the nuances of flavors myself... and it is an excellent excuse to try a variety of bourbon.

Most people?...Most people I know and those I drink with socially drink for the flavour and quality, not for the affects of alcohol...
