An interesting example of how the mind works:
I have a cool mist humidifier on the bed table.
I fell asleep with it running. I heard the button being clicked and I heard the mister shut off.
I turned my head that direction, and said, “Hey you are turning off my mister...”, But there wasn’t anyone standing there... I could hear my wife out in the living room as she was sorting through some papers, so I got up, and went to her to ask, “Hey, did you shut off the mister, or was I having a visitor?”
She laughed and said, “Yes, I turned it off 20 minutes ago. You were snoring when I did it.”

Lol. I just wanted to know.
So I went back to bed, and next, dreamed of being in a strange, but comfortable house. Strange, in that every wall was transparent glass. Forms were finished concrete, with area rugs, and a glowing stone fire pit in the center with a round vent hood over it. It must have been a holiday, as my wife was wearing a red dress with a white holly berry broach and matching ear rings. Her short curly hair was fixed with a bit of gold glitter in it. Passers by outside could look in, but didn’t, as they seem to care to not peak in other’s homes... or maybe I could see out, but they could not see inside... I wasn’t sure.
I was comfortable in this place, and it seemed this dream continued through the night as flashbacks of memories in this house with her. A premonition of a future, or from a past lifetime? Perhaps, just a pleasant dream where I hoped my future life to be as good as this one, or better, and with the same person for my wife? Or just my brain wandering free at night?

I returned home from getting gas and food to discover "fort Watson" occupied by Rikki and the twins. My 11 year old eager for more mischief joined them. looks like my welcome to Rikki last night was repaid LOL.

Today is "Three kings day." we take all the holiday season decorations down.
Then the house cleaning. Then a day of sledding and snowboarding.
I even volunteered to pull my 3 year old around on her mini toboggan.

Last night I woke up and thought a man without a shirt was standing right next to the bed. I was up and on my feet like a shot with a roar and went to grab him - and got an armful on thin air. Utterly realistic and terrifying. Nice to see the old fight or flight reflexes acted in a useful fashion. I guess that was a test of the Emergency Intruder System.
Those little gray f**kers better set their phasers on heavy stun first if they want to probe the Pigfarmer at night.
I had four pairs of huge saucer sized eyes peering at me but it wasn't a Mothman or owls it was the wife and pets who were less than amused, to put it mildly ......

the lights are down. the kids back in school. Samantha is with her grandmother and Rikki and I are heading back to work. I shut down the holiday station on pandora.
On my way out I looked at the new toys and the snow fort.
It was a wonderful Christmas.

So who has a spouse who snores? I am exhausted and my lovely wife is make such horrifying noises right now the paint is flaking from the walls. Cows will not give milk tomorrow. If it were daylight mothers would snatch their children off the street for fear of a marauding bear with hemorrhoids. I am not in the slightest danger of an alien abduction or other paranormal visitation tonight ......

We reached the point where we decided to sleep in Separate rooms. We both snore, and would take turns keeping each other awake or waking the other up... it wasn’t fun to sleep together anymore... Afer a few months we do not regret it. We are better rested, and happy. We flirt and play more... we just sleep separately. It helped.

At 10 wins 2 losses. the Spartans faced Lafollette HS. And got blown out 84-44
This time Kate did not panic. She played hard yet disciplined. She took a lot of effort not to give them fouls. in a lopsided loss Kate's team lost. But she won the "Good game Watson." was enough to show how far she came.
in other sports news Rikki and I signed Ian up for his last season with the "Beld street Bullfrogs" at 12 he can join the 12-16 "south side sluggers."

We've had some issues with the powder coat system this week and lost many parameters for the IR ovens...The main computer motherboard blew out a capacitor and crashed the system during shutdown two days ago, fortunately the hard drive was not damaged although cutting the system during shut down caused a loss of some data...I installed a new system computer and had to make a call to Austria to the group who originally installed this equipment to get the software license reinitialized on the new computer hardware so I could get back into the programming side of the software...I've been working on the timings for the IR gel station which is right before the ovens...Also oven 3 is down, it will not ignite, today I did determine its a mechanical issue with oven 3 so I made a call to a local company that repairs natural gas systems such as this, they are an hour away and drove over today to access the situation...
Even through all this we are still running production, we only lost a couple hours of production, most of the work I'm doing is whilst the equipment is in operation...

The crusty phone guy in me would be interested in looking at the call detail records which are very likely kept somewhere. Realistically though, there is probably zero chance of getting access to them. Maybe it was an oops.

fortean experiences? The only reason i had to answer unknowns here lately was i had some framers come in and fix an issue with a central heat unit in the attic was coming through the bedroom ceiling bringing the roof down with it. its all done. fortean experiences? would that be seeing a tr3b less than two weeks ago in the neighbors back yard?
