Exactly. I don't understand what Shadow is saying. Nobody said anything bad about the guy. I think it is highly relevant that wealthy (close) relatives have excommunicated Gene. That is not a bad reflection on them it is just illustrative of the fact that there is no way to help him.

It may not do anything for GCN but it may reduce whatever income Gene is getting from the Paracrud even further. We all know Gene doesn't give a stuff about the quality of the show, it is all just a money making exercise for him. He uses the show for grifting and the less people who listen to the show and use the forum, the worse his grifting income should become. God forbid he may have to actually consider changing his behaviour and maybe getting a real job (a long shot I know).

Why is Gene talking about maintaining a decent middle class lifestyle in the midst of a discussion about the criticisms about the current state of ufology? Most peculiar, mama. Advanced age my hairy ass. I work with men who are crowding 80 and to channel Heinlein seem the type who could straight arm an anvil. Real Ira Johnson types. I'm trying to maintain a decent middle class lifestyle and haven't bothered anyone about it. Tomorrow I have to cough up $2500 to keep my hot water functioning and haven't attempted to extort money from anyone in exchange for the brilliance I eructate online.
Divorce the $$ from the UFO research. Funny how we have someone like Robert Bigelow who has buckets of money and an interest and when he does his thing we are suspicious. I'm going to write him a nice letter and ask if he'll adopt me.

The beauty of it all is that we all know Steinberg reads the posts from this forum. It must make his stomach churn when he sees what people really think about him as well as on a Twitter and the UFO Trail.
At one time Steinberg would try to defend himself in any forum that criticized him. There is so much info out there now about all his financial cheating, he doesn’t dare to engage anyone outside his websites.

Hate is a pretty strong emotion, so like the rest of Genes narrative his use of the word is overblown and exaggerated.
Its usually associated with an extreme expression of anger, And emotion of such intensity seems a tad overdone in regards to internet shenanigans.
Genes use of the phrase, is just another exaggeration for effect, like his use of the words emergency and crisis.
Its used to paint a picture, purpose designed to elicit sympathy that is then milked for cash donations.
I personally don't feel Hate, and i'm confident most commentators feel the same.
My reactions to his dishonesty are more aligned with words like disgust and distaste.
Normal people have a natural aversion to seeing someone commit charity fraud. To exaggerate and lie about their personal circumstances and then use that false narrative to con people out of money. Often money they themselves can ill afford to give away.
Many times ive seen people say I'm not doing so well myself but I'll send what i can" or words of similar effect.
When it becomes patently obvious an individual is deliberately and dishonestly ripping others off. The natural reaction is disgust.
Haters ? Hardly.
Disgusted onlookers with a decent sense of moral compass, concerned to see no one else is robbed.
The "good citizens" are his detractors, we have a social and moral conscience and we see whats happening and are calling it out as The con job it it.
The honest have a natural aversion to the dishonest
The metaphorical torches and pitchforks are the natural reaction when a member of the herd deviates from the social covenants like Steinberg has.
On a larger scale its why we have Police and prisons.
Steinbergs numerous court records for financial default say it all.
Criminals love to play the victim, Take that phrase back through the history of this individual and its a perfect match on both counts.

Nothing on here has ever descended to the level of nastiness that Crimeberg himself exudes. Further this thread has never conned anyone out of money or committed charity fraud. The only hate in relation to Crimberg comes from him. Like most criminal scumbags he likes to project his own behaviour on everyone else, especially those who call him out. It is perfectly normal and reasonable for people to express outrage at his behaviour.
Gene as you read this I can only hope you are stewing in your own juices. You deserve nothing less for all the people you have robbed and the money you have diverted from real good causes.
You did this. You drove away your family and you drove away your own listeners - most of the people here are Paracast listeners whom you tried to con. Now the only thing you have left is your shitty forum where you can pretend you are some sort of King and the paracast which is now all but dead.
