To The Stars Academy: Investigating the Unexplained

I have explored the unexplained long ago,
there is a pattern there.
most unexplained things were explained long ago
it is only in modern times that people have no clue what is going on.
turns out that education and learning are not the same thing at all
but I guess that I am told to often that history has nothing to teach us,
and that I am just not educated enough to get what is going on
and I have to admit to learning to much...

anyway,
if you rally want to find something useful,
start looking into consciousness research.
and expect funding to vanish faster than steam out of a kettle
Does that mean someone who controls that funding is already doing the research but doesn’t want any competition?

I always assumed that it was inspired by the plaque on the Pioneer spacecraft:

And also on the golden records aboard the Voyager spacecraft:

I am amazed that we chose these symbols.... hoping someone (else). Will get our message that says “We were here.”

I wonder....

It makes sense, and gosh... wouldn’t it be cool if we picked up a message similar to this from another civilization from another world who thought about doing the same thing back in their rocket age day? He he... that would be so awesome!

I remember a Babylon 5 episode, "A Day In The Strife," where a probe arrives, and presents the station with a test. If they pass, it promises to share advanced technology. If they fail, the station will be destroyed in a few hours. Well, Babylon 5 succeeded in answering the questions. But before the answers were sent, John Sheridan had second thoughts. He surmised that the probe would likely not destroy a less advanced race, but one that may be able to challenge it. He withheld the answers past the deadline and the probe began to depart. To keep the probe from harming any other race it came across, the answers were transmitted from a securbot far away from the station. This caused the probe to detonate, with an explosive yield of roughly 500,000 megatons.

Moral: Contact from ET may not necessarily be benign.

Giving the natives the good stuff has rarely worked to anyone's advantage in the end. Those un-contacted cultures I posted about earlier don't realize it yet but now that they have been located, despite protestations that we will leave them alone, are already f****d.

That kind of test is a psychotic idea.

Good science done by good people isn't disappointing - it provides a useful data point that is a starting point for further progress.

Good analysis informs where further analysis is needed and useful.

Take the Higgs boson. If the Higgs boson exists, that renders a number of competing theories to the standard model untenable.
again i am waiting, but disappointed so far
I heard John Greenewald lay out a case in a neat package about AATIP, the source of the videos, Luis Elizondo making public statements about mylar balloons and CGI flying saucers that gave me pause.
not to mention delongue shared billy meier photos claiming they were real before
