The Divided State of Europe

My stance is that one should be held to the moral standards of the land in which one is living, not the land one comes from.

This I wholeheartedly agree with. It's why pedophiles go to Asia.

The union makes it one moral standard for all member states in Europe. Sweden is another who I hear has submitted to this relegation of code. The EU has taken the nature out of Europe.

All for one and one for all.

These things are just the beginnings, it will get worse, the "new arrivals" do not respect the culture they were welcomed into and will not assimilate...

The reality behind the dispute about insecurity in Uppsala, Sweden

Central Uppsala described as a danger zone for girls who are sexually disturbed by gangs of young men and boys, often new arrivals.

Upsala Nya Tidning describes insecurity in a series of articles – and Ebba Busch Thor hooks on with a debate on the situation in his hometown.

The KD leader receives criticism for its article, but police on the ground confirms the information regarding gang harassing young women.

In a recent interview, Macron denied that the police is using excessive force against the GiletsJaunes protesters. Here we have a video from yesterday. The police officer is clearly trying to break to protesters arm with the use of his baton.

'It's the apocalypse': Paris rioters run amok at yellow vest rallies

The Champs-Elysees avenue in Paris was a sea of black and yellow on Saturday as black-clad anarchists used a "yellow vest" rally to run amok, looting shops and torching businesses in scenes reminiscent of the riots that shook the city late last year.

"There are people and there is action. It reminds me of December!" a young protester shouted triumphantly as flames billowed from a bank and thick black smoke rose from burning barricades erected along the famed avenue.

The demonstrator was referring to December 1, when protesters went on the rampage in Paris, smearing the Arc de Triomphe war memorial in graffiti in a frenzy of vandalism, looting and arson.

The violence prompted President Emmanuel Macron's government to rescind planned fuel tax hikes and announce billions in measures to assist the working poor.

But on Saturday, the demonstrators returned in their thousands to once again transform the Champs Elysees -- a symbol of French power and luxury -- into a battlefield.

Using banners and construction barriers as shields the "black bloc" protesters ripped up paving stones which they used to smash shop windows and attack the police.

The wooden boards nailed over the windows of stores such as Boss and Lacoste were ripped off and thrown onto burning heaps as looters emerged, arms laden with stolen clothes, some of which were used to fuel the flames.

Cafe tables and seats also ended up on the fire and the famous Fouquet's brasserie -- favourite locale of the rich and famous, including ex-president Nicolas Sarkozy who controversially used it to celebrate his 2007 election -- was also sacked in an orgy of anti-capitalist destruction.

"It's unfortunate but this is the only way we can make ourselves heard," a "yellow vest" who travelled from the southeastern Bourgogne region for a protest billed as an "ultimatum" to Macron, said as he looked on.

- 'It's the apocalypse!' -

The police, which had erected a ring of steel around the Arc de Triomphe, battled for over seven hours to disperse the protesters, using copious amounts of tear gas, stun grenades and water cannon.

But for most of the day the protesters, who waved French as well as regional flags and chanted "Macron resign", held the famous avenue which was shrouded in smoke and teargas.

"It's the apocalypse!," one demonstrator shouted with glee.

As the day went on, the wave of destruction spread.

A bank situated on the ground floor of an apartment building was set alight.

A woman who was evacuated with her four children, including a nine-month-old baby, fought back tears as she told AFP of their escape down the stairs from their third-floor apartment.

"We first smelled the tear gas fumes and then saw the fire from the window," she said.

"They could have killed someone," her partner Reda added.

A Longchamp luxury handbag store was also set alight, along with a restaurant specialising in mussels and the terrasse of a large cafe and several of Paris's iconic green-domed news kiosks.

Interior Minister Christophe Castaner blamed the violence on "over 1,500 ultra-violent people who came to smash things up, do battle and attack."

As the evening drew in and the rioters were pushed off the Champs-Elysees into smaller adjacent streets, the walls bore their imprint.

One slogan mocked the two-month-long "grand national debate" launched by Macron in mid-January to give voters a forum to air their grievances.

"End of the debate, start of the big clearout," it read.

The smashed window of a store was scrawled with the words "Open day".

By the early evening 151 people had been arrested, of whom 46 were placed in custody.

I've always said you cannot trust Corbyn, his agenda is not aligned with with the British people want...

Corbyn: Labour backing 'Deal vs. Remain' second referendum

Labour Leader Jeremy Corbyn has confirmed that his party will be supporting an amendment by MPs for a truly dire referendum: Theresa May’s deal vs. not leaving the European Union at all. What an absolute disgrace.

Corbyn told Ridge on Sunday that his party backs a “credible choice referendum” and will back an amendment put forward to put the bad deal against remaining in the EU in a second referendum. Of course what Brexiteers increasingly want, a No Deal Brexit, wouldn’t even be an option in this crazy establishment stitch-up.

The text of the proposed amendment reads: “but will not allow the implementation and ratification of the Withdrawal Agreement unless and until both it and the Framework for the Future Relationship have been approved by the people of the United Kingdom in a confirmation ballot”.

Labour’s continuing push for a second referendum is an absolute disgrace to every voter who was promised that politicians would respect the people’s vote of 2016.

An African migrant tried to burn alive 51 Italian kids in a school bus today to demand open borders.

A man who hijacked a school bus in Italy and set it alight was a known paedophile who had posted a video on YouTube saying 'Africa - arise', it has emerged.

Ousseynou Sy abducted 51 children, told them 'no one would survive' and set the bus on fire after they escaped in a 40-minute ordeal near Milan yesterday.

The 47-year-old driver, of Senegalese origin, told authorities he wanted to vindicate Europe-bound migrants who have died in the Mediterranean.

For some reason he was too dense to realize that his actions would only serve to increase hostility to immigrants.

Our whole house is a disgrace here.

The promise is already broken as we extend Brexit. Our leader is putting forward the same deal for a third time which the speaker of the house said would be thrown out if no insignificant changes were made. She changed the date and sadly that will be enough.

There will be no second referendum as it will force a third if remain win. May blames MP's for this mess and has distanced herself to side with the peoples frustration in a time when she needs MP's votes on the same treaty proposed by the EU and May, this is so shameful. She is no deal maker and went in with nothing held in reserve for when it gets tough. She will be gone.

Her third time of asking should on paper, fail as nothing has been changed and we have the saving grace of the Europen elections and the need for things to be resolved by then.

May has insulted parliment and has made threats of a no deal and remain unless her treaty goes through, a resl sign of her losing it. She needs to go and we desperately need a Brexitier to steer us out.

May has made a mess of it, I said as much back in early 2017 on Alien Hub when she made her Lancaster House speech. It was clear then that we would be in this state at this time because she chose a wholly stupid negotiating strategy (largely as a concession to Tory Brexiteers, who had absolutely no clue about anything). As bad as May is, I do not have confidence in anyone in the Tory party, or in the whole of Parliament, to do a better job than she is doing. If May goes, I fear the situation will be all the more worse.

As terrible as May's deal is, the best option for the nation is still for MPs to back it. Leaving before we get a deal with the EU will be so much worse, and a real economic disaster for this country. Brexiteers in the Tory party are a bunch of johnny-come-latelies to the idea of leaving the EU and know nothing, least of all how to actually make a success of Brexit. We will be dealing with the EU no matter what. Either in an orderly manner, before we leave, or in a chaotic and desperate manner afterwards.

I do not really care if May has insulted Parliament, as our MPs are almost to a man absolutely dreadful, terrible at their jobs and entirely worthy of being insulted.

The choices facing Parliament (and the nation) are these: Bad deal, no deal or no Brexit. Take your pick.

Yes she is between a rock and a hard place for sure but trying to please everyone a bit is what she has done and has ended up pleasing no one.

As a person I like May and don't envy her position as exampled by no one else wanting to step up to the plate, as far as we know.

Take no Brexit out of that list as revoking 50 is something none of them would dare attempt.

Farage coined no deal is better than a bad deal and May adopted it for her campaign which I'm not sure she still advocates today.

No deal or a bad deal is left and it depends on how bad is bad as to which I would go for.

They didn't like the result of our last vote and claim we voted with not knowing what leave meant. It goes no where though and is just a show. Waste of tax payers money if you ask me and which ever way remainer dress it, it sticks the middle finger up to democracy.

If this gets re extended for a longer period we are going to see Nigel Farage take the reigns of the Brexit party and he has warned the establishment to brace themselves for what will come. He will get my vote and I will never vote again.

Time is the enemy and the saviour.

I would mind the second referendum campaign less if they had the honesty to call it a campaign for a re-run of the last referendum. 'People's vote' is a dishonest label designed to downplay the fact that we already had something that could equally have been described as a people's vote. I imagine that most of those campaigning for the 'people's vote' were opposed to the first one, but suddenly have developed an enthusiasm for referenda. I was also opposed to the first one taking place--the fallout from it has done enough damage--and I am especially opposed to a second one.

You oppose the referendum. What's your stance on Brexit itself?
