My riding lawnmower is broke down, my car is broke down, my business took a financial hit recently, another business I manage is bleeding money from somewhere and I have not found the exact source of the problem yet, its perplexing and frustrating to say the least...First world problems...

Mowed the lawn for the first time this season. Whee. The wife & I sanded & scrubbed down the three decks on the back of the house. After that I pressure washed it I gave the retaining wall and front walkway a good blast. Headed out on a few minutes to dump sixty or so pounds of stone dust and sweep it all into the pavers. Wed & Thurs this week are supposed to be nice and I will stain the decks. Extra whee.

The weather is getting nice and I don't have the damned car back together yet. Ran into a quality control problem with tie rod ends and sleeves that has me stuck waiting on parts. Too much to ask that new parts are intact and will just thread into one another like they're supposed to. I will say that Amazon impresses me. I initiated a return online and they gave me a new option. I just went to a small UPS Store about two miles away and handed them the return item - they boxed it and shipped it. I didn't have to screw around with any of that. I just showed them a scanner code on my phone. Took all of two minutes. Before I got home I got a text that told me the refund had already been issued. If customer service like that is killing mall retailers I say - to quote Capt.Kirk - let them die !!

My riding lawnmower is broke down

So my riding mower engine is blown, my neighbor was 'borrowing' it again and the cooling fan on the engine which was plastic broke in half but he kept on riding it until it wouldn't run anymore...Just finished taking apart things, it needs some major work...ugh

Fortunately my lawn is so small I only need a weed trimmer to cut it. I used a lawn service last year but I cancelled it at the end of the year. Now it's thick and lush. I didn't know much about lawn care prior to that. Having the service for a year I learned when to add fertilizer and lime, when to aeriate, etc. I'm a suburban expert now!

My work week ended in high notes and low notes, still much work to be done to make the company's labour more efficient...:ohmy8:

Bought a new riding lawnmower for my neighbor to borrow and break...:tongue8:

M car is running great again, turned out to be an inexpensive part on the fuel injection system needing replaced...:happy8:

I have the entire weekend off, no work at all, I think I will be tiling my garden spot and beginning to plant my garden tomorrow...I'm going to plant in two separate smaller spots instead of one larger garden...In one spot I will be planting green beans as I usually do every year and in the other spot I'll be planting bell peppers, green and red, habanero peppers, jalapenos, chili peppers along with a couple cucumber plants...I want some of the hot peppers, drying and grinding them, to use as a spice and I may grind a couple of the mild peppers too...Some of the cucumbers I trade for tomatoes from neighbors, I don't like growing tomatoes, the plants smell awful to me and they hog the garden space too much lol...:D

Hmm, you're giving your neighbor a lot of leeway there, Nivek. Is this neighbor by some chance an attractive single female?

The neighbor is an old guy who lives on a fixed income, but I suppose the last incident wasn't really his fault, the cooling fan on the Briggs and Stratton broke while he was mowing and causing the engine to overheat and lock up...I made room in my workshop to rebuild the engine myself, after I get it running good again I'm going to give the mower to him so he has his own lawnmower again...In the mean time he will borrow my new one lol...

the mifflin street block party is a 2 day binge of drinking sex and politics.
So Rikki and I were shocked to see a pic on FB showing the twins at the party! Debbie had a can in a cozy that may be beer. her BF (underage) had a MGD.
Kate was in lip lock with some gal we have no clue. Both returned drunk..
they were lucky not to get arrested..
But a full month grounding is in order
Kate lost her prom date. and both were ashamed ..

At the end of this 2 mile stretch, the guy on the bicycle passed by and started crossing the intersection in front of me.

Crossing someone's T is a gang stalking tactic and a naval maneuver.

I'm hurting this evening, my back and neck are sore and stiffer, my right arm is very sore...I helped 3 other employees carry a large conference table top across from one building to another, a good 500 foot walk...This table top is ten feet long, four feet wide and 1 3/4" thick...I don't know what its made of but it has red oak inlay veneer on its top side, but its really heavy...

I have all my beans planted, have to buy some pepper seeds today, I thought I had some in my workshop and I did but they were only bell peppers which I want to grow too...I also wanted some chilis and habanero peppers so I need some seeds for those...

Also repaired my neighbor's tiller, he is not mechanically inclined in any way, took me longer to put back on all the parts he took off than it did to make the adjustments to the carburetor to get it running smoother lol...
