what are the astronauts doing on the moon anyway?

Thanks @Georgek, good idea for this one.

Personally, I think we went and whoever says we didn't is nuts. Maybe there's a big diving board at the edge of Flat Earth and after a few bounces and a good booooiiing that's how it was done. Also, if they never went how could Neil and Buzz have met (and ignored for the sake of the camera) the big alien mothership that was supposed to be sitting there watching them?

The Unexplained With Howard Hughes #231 interviewed Marcus Allen about the moon landing hoax.
Edition 231 - Marcus Allen

I don't really remember what he said other than it really provoked me to drop Howard a line and to my delight he gave me a shout out. Allen's just hawking his wares - doubt he actually believes it himself.

Howard also interviewed a man who wanted to go on about the connection to Stanley Kubrick and claim he did it all in a studio. Can't find that one right off but I'm looking. This guest believes in what he was saying to a disturbing degree; a sandwich or two shy of a picnic, smile and back slowly to the door, that kind of thing ....
He seemed to think that an oddity with a typewriter font helped proved the case and I remember at the time yelling at my truck dashboard that old typewriters just used a lower case l and didn't have the digit 1 on them. Sitting next to a 1952 Royal HH right now and yup, that's the case. When (and if) I find the episode I'll post a link.

What I had never heard of was about Kubrick's supposed deathbed confession. Weird and questionable.
Stanley Kubrick Admitted That He Was Involved In Faking The Moon Landings

Something else I've heard of in relation to a moon landing hoax is about the 1352nd Motion Picture Squadron. Yes, the Pentagon did have a 'secret' film studio. Reuters War College podcast from February 22 2019 gave a nice look at it: ‎War College: The Secret History of the Pentagon's Hollywood Studio on Apple Podcasts

anyone else remember richard hogland talking about when the moon landing happened ?
he said that someone had been handing out something printed on mylar that claimed that the moon landing was all done on a sound stage, now I can't remember if it said it was Stanley Kubrick or his promoter that was handing them out, but I do remember the link.
so when I saw that Stanley Kubrick said the moon landing was all filmed on a sound stage, this also reminded me of the digital analysis done that proved where the moon landing we were shown had an atmosphere...
so, later in the information, the idea that the 1 and l were wrong, that gets me thinking,
you can't replace the L with a 1 on most of the old typewriters as there is no one key. you have to use the lowercase L key...
so that entire is from someone that has never actually really used a typewriter, and Stanley Kubrick likely used one quite a bit...

so given the mess, I look to history first.
long before the moon mission NASA was recruiting, or attempting to recruit people that lived at high altitude so that they could breath on the moon. now I thought that was nuts until I looked a bit further,
turns out that even in victorian times people saw lights on the moon, and they were sometimes obstructed by fog on the moon...
now we have much better telescopes, but somehow seems as if no one has ever made public a high resolution photo of the moon...
mostly they claim that the brightness of the moon prevents them from looking at the moon.
yet people block off the telescopes correctly and can look at the sun...
did they forget how to do that ? and I mean all of them ?
next brings me to the japan mission to take high resolution pictures of the moon.
japan was annoyed that the USA would not share any high resolution pictures...
I remember the night when the japan probe got to the moon,
over the radio station I was following it on, they said the data of the first pictures were downloaded to earth, and they were just going to post them for public view as soon as they could...
that was the last I herd of it for a long time despite looking for it.
now wikipedia claims that it was a failed mission and no data was never sent...
so I get to wonder, ever time someone really looks close at the moon, they stop talking.
maybe it means nothing,
but NASA had rockets all set and payed for, and then they stopped sending people...
why ?
if nothing else, going to space is fun and it is all payed for, so why not ?
the only hint I found here is one of the people that was on one of the classified military missions to the moon (there was a few of them, but I forget what one this was, we know how many but not what they did), he said they went into a crashed craft on the moon to recover technology, and at some point had something show up in something like a golf cart asking them not to come back...
sort of like what would happen if something landed on my land and I went out to tell them no trespassing.
not like that sort of story convinces me, but is is clear that something is odd when so many people involved with a project keep talking about the same sort of mess...
last bit of data I looked at was the guy made the remote viewing project happen,
Ingo Swan, he was given the moon as something to look at, and he found what seems to be a mining operation.
at one point one of his students that worked closely with him that I forget his name was asked if he believed what ingo had told him about the moon was true, he response was that what ingo had said was not compelling at all, but when given the moon as a blind target, he was the one describing what was going on there, he said that was compelling
so, given all the data, if you can trust it or not, seems to point to that something odd is going on with the moon.
and the only thing saying that is not the case is the official story.
not sure I trust the official story when so much points elsewhere.
reminds me of office rumers that was always true and the CEO lied at every meeting

one last thing
I evaluate any news by how and who opposes it,
and the moon has clear and vocal opposition,
so no matter what is gong on with it,
this is a contested topic.

just a thought about truth ministries
snopes has lied before
they are clearly not neutral
I really wish people would think for themselves
and just wait till it is a crime to think for yourself
I trust data and not opinions
it is why I offered what I remember and not a solid final conclusion
think what you want from what I remember,
I am sure I can dig up web links for some of what I remember, but some of that was pre internet. or at least before I had it.
and I know plenty of people that don't believe the world was here before the internet, and that if you don't have a web link, something is just bullish. and to that, I offer pictures to books I own that are not on the net at all. you know, just as a proof that the earth was here before the internet.
and that truth ministries are nothing new. and they usually lie, but carefully, they don't want to get caught.

a lot of bold claims here, do you have a link to any of them? (the secret moon mission you are talking about is the infamous apollo 20 hoax)

give me a bit,
this was mostly pre internet data
and I know I don't have hard copies,
and the net is getting harder to find things on all the time.
and there were plenty of classified missions before 20, (if 20 was real)
will go looking and see if I can find all of that again
but I already know I am not finding the radio show with updates of the japan mission
in the middle, would think that hogland would recount what he said on the radio...
I know his voice, if he denys it, then he (and the radio host) is lying about what he said (not likely).
and I have a PDF of the ingo swan book I can email someone.
everything else is a treasure hunt, but I will do my best

The shadow

The shadow knows!
400,000 engineers, and technicians worked on the Apollo project for over a decade. They came from many countries and all over the US. It is patently absurd to think they all were all somehow tricked or part of a NASA hoax.

there were a bunch of moon missions both by japan and china and yes, they brought pictures

have you ever worded for NASA ?
ever even been to a location there ?
it is pretty clear that you would not need many people to fake the others out.
at least that is what I got by seeing the structure there

links ?
please
I have been looking for them for years
or is like the USA pictures that are clearly airbrushed ?
seriously? you missed allthe hype surrounding the lunar rover easrlier this year?
i am pretty sure there are threads about just that in this very website

would seem that I did miss it
I love new data.
will try to find it,
but if it is easy for you, I would like any links you have

I have read the information google offered up on the china missions it did
and I read every bit of it.
then again I also get that google shows different people different things.
if I try sending someone I don't already know, I am filtered out of any folder than "all mail"
to think that you can tell me to go google something and have any hope of me seeing what you do is just not what I have seen by sending screen shots between friends.
so,
if you see something on google, paste the page here. or at least give some hint of your results.

my thoughts from what I saw was that china landed a mobile telescope on the moon
they did not tell anyone for years
and clearly they landed in a spot just like the USA did, in the middle of no where.
if there are interesting things to be had on the moon, china seems not to have found them.
