You didn't get them from a dodgy bloke who claims they were magic did you...

Well, the instructions did say to plant them, so I did, instead of eating them...:laugh8:

Mowed the property and part of the meadow and 20 minutes after I finished it began raining, so good timing lol...Found a used Briggs and Stratton engine for my broken mower, going to replace the engine with a used one so I can use it and then rebuild the blown engine in a couple weeks...I may use that engine for a generator or something...

I've been out in my workshop all day doing a little of this and that, the front doors and windows face the forest and had them all open with such a nice day outside, party cloudy and low 70s, with a slight breeze...Took a walk in the forest moment to ago and let the dog run, I'm back at the shop now, it's about 500 feet from the house near the garden and the tree line which gives me afternoon shade over the building...

Today i managed to get alot done to the spare bedroom, painting it. Finish painting the trim tomorrow.than the floor? What started all this the fact that when the place had heat& air installed in the house attic they cut some purlins. and it was all coming down in to the bedroom. Altogether i have ended up tearing down the ceiling drywall, sistering up 2x6 ceiling joist with a 2x8 & 2x6 L bareback over the top to brace the roof up.pulled of the drywall on the outside wall and insulated and restored my old wooden windows, slapped new drywall up , bed and taped, it took 2 1/2 boxes of mud, now working on the a third can of white paint and only used one of teal. I`ll be glad to have it done. but rest of the house is fine except for all the paneling was glued to the drywall everywhere, so it looks like i`ll be getting good at drywall, and painting. but i hate painting

My left arm and wrist is extremely painful, part of my wrist is swollen, I was wrenching on a machine doing some repairs and my arm and wrist got twisted in a tight spot in the equipment...I may have to see a doctor if its any worse tomorrow...I'm on my laptop right now and its very painful to type these words using my left hand...

Pretty much done with my front suspension upgrade and all went well. I drove it around the block a couple of times to let everything settle in. I'll do it again then there are a few things that have to be torqued down for good and it's done.
Bleeding and adjusting the power steering involves having the front end on jack stands, starting the car and then diddling around with it. At one point I have to lay on the floor and reach up behind the driver's side tire with a wee wrench to get to a wee nut to 'center' the thing - which means tiny little adjustment until wham! The tire will rapidly move to the stop in the opposite direction. Problem is, my head is in there right next to a hot exhaust side pipe ....

Car's got the droopy drawers. Front is now fine but it's saggy in the ass end so I just ordered a replacement leaf spring. Not unexpected and compared to what I just did fairly straightforward. Weekend project.

Fairly clever engineering for the era. Most vehicles in 1969 didn't have 4 wheel 4-piston per caliper disc brakes and a fully independent suspension.

Gotta clean the f$%&ing spiders out of it today ....... ick

Yeah, going to see a doctor tomorrow...

I went to bed around 2200 last night, after meditating with a blood stone and focus on my arm and wrist to heal, it was in a lot of pain last night, even my fingers were very sore and difficult to move in my left hand...I woke up at 0500 this morning for work and my arm felt so much better, slight stiffness but no pain, the wrist swelling was almost gone and it had very minor pain when I moved it, the hand felt much better...

Went to work deciding not to see a doctor now and 15 minutes into the beginning of the work day we suddenly hear a loud BOOM!!! and all electrical power goes out, lights and machinery...A minute later the lights came on but nothing else, I went to my office and grabbed my multimeter testing the 480 volt lines I find out one leg of power is gone...So we had a transformer blow out, all three buildings of equipment dead in the water, I call the power company and report the problem, then came out and investigated and estimated 5 to 7 hours before power would be restored...Needless to say I sent everyone home and shut down the plant for the day and weekend, resuming our scheduled work on Monday next week...

I haven't taken any medications for the pain which is all but gone now, just slight reminders if I move certain ways lol...The bloodstone (Heliotrope) sphere I have did work wonders and helped immensely in healing my arm and wrist...

I've never attempted planting watermelons but I've always heard they're very difficult to grow.

I've never attempted planting watermelons but I've always heard they're very difficult to grow.

Its been ten years since I grew watermelon last, with limited success...They seem to like a soil that has sand mixed in it, so to start them I have an 8 x 8 foot pen that I tilled up and fenced and I mixed twenty pounds of sand in that soil and mulched it all with a slight hill in the middle which is where the plants with begin growing, I planted 5 seeds in a circle near the center of that pen...There's also a mammoth sunflower I planted in each corner and when the melon plants fill that area I will move the fence out and make it a 20 x 20 foot area for the melons to spread out leaving 4 large sunflower plants growing in the mist of the watermelon patch...If all grows well lol...

The last image shows the other part of the garden this year, an 8x 25 foot fenced area with a long U shaped row of pole green beans and 3 short rows of peppers, 2 of them bell pepper seeds are planted and the last row cayenne peppers...I have a bunch of red potatoes yet to plant, they are already growing stalks of about 2 inches long out of a potato and ready for soil...I'm just not sure yet where I want to place the potato growing buckets this year, something to do tomorrow...

I'm tired from today's work, started at 0700 and took an afternoon break for a couple hours before resuming and finishing an hour ago, at about 1900...The weather was hot, sunny all day and 89 degrees, they said real feel was 98 degrees but I don't know how they come to determine that prediction...The humidity was about 45 percent which made it somewhat pleasant outside, in the shade maybe lol...I'll sleep good tonight, no doubts about that...
